I have been curious to try this place since it opened because of all the vehicles I see parked there on my way to/from Bentwater. The menu looked good online and so did the Happy Hour specials. We decided to have a late lunch yesterday at 1:45pm (a Monday afternoon.) Nobody greeted us when we walked up, so we waited to be seated outside (a sign says wait to be seated.) I eventually walked in and asked at the bar area and he told us to go back outside and wait some more ("Someone will be with you shortly") Well nobody was with us shortly. About 1/3 of the outdoor tables had customers while the other 2/3 were dirty and un-bussed. We waited by the table we wanted until a very rude lady walked up and said "I assume you wanna sit?" She then took half the dirty dishes away and never returned. No waitress ever approached us. The one that did come outside made sure not to even glance in our direction. After the rude lady disappeared with half the dishes we waited a couple of more minutes before walking out, hungry and disappointed. I believe this place suffers from an attitude problem because they are currently raking in the money with the evening crowd. But this kind of treatment is ALWAYS a problem with management. I wont be surprised when this place goes belly-up just like all the failed restaurants before in that same building (like the Peppermill Grill.)

Party of 5 and 1 toddler and a baby. 3 ordered chicken tenders. My husband took 1 bite of his chicken tender and said it tasted funny. I smelled it and the chicken was rotten! Even being deep fried you could smell the rotted chicken. Since the majority ordered chicken we didnt touch it knowing it was probably all handled together or kept contained in the same place. Thank god we didnt give some to the young one first. Called the manager over and she kept saying oh is it cold? I said no, its rotten. Wanted to know if we would like anything else? Ha, no way. We bolted. These are the same owners who owned the place when it was the seafood joint. They used to keep shucked raw oysters open in the cooler. A breeding ground for all sorts of bacteria. They also used to keep crawfish already boiled in the cooler and then just re boil and serve. Never will we return to this place again. Place needs a serious health inspection. My advice to all is not to eat there or use extreme caution.

One of a kind place..its the food.. the atmosphere the TV screens everywhere ..and the food... seriously the food amazing ..Krispy homemade onion rings in beer batter.. excellent hamburgers and and entrees and weekly specials that make me want to move near the restaurant.. You see the problem is I live in Houston and I just found this place when I visited the southern Empress paddle wheel boat to celebrate 40 years of marriage.. (Now I have a good reason to go to Conroe which I bypassed years ago because of their incredibly high taxes on lake front property. . I mean these people are renting their homes from the county.. seriously)... they have a great selection of beer and the salads and soups are excellent.. I will be headed back soon..right in on my way to Lake Livingston where taxes are much lower...Im just sayin

Unless you have hours to wait, dont go. We waited over an hour for our food. The order was not correct and fries were cold. My chicken was over cooked. When we talked with the Manager all he could say was sorry the kitchen is getting really slammed. That is not my problem! Then we talked to the owner, still sorry was all we got. They didnt even offer us a discount on our bill or maybe a free drink. When we sat down I was worried because we saw several people waiting on food and sending food back. I felt bad for our friends who live here and they were taking us out to dinner. I did not leave a tip and I told the manager they could give the waitress a tip our of their pocket. Lots of other good places to eat so dont waste your money or your time.

Beer is cold , food is good, need to work on getting wait staff to b more understanding with customers. "Do not open duplicate tabs when a customer sets on the inside then goes on the outside to smoke. Rude waitress git rid of before u lose more business "... dont order from the walk up window r u will have a duplicate tab. What is a duplicate tab? Who knows, first time I heard of it and Im the backside of fifty. I love tailgators but I will never go to the Willis tailgators again along with all my friends. A duplicate tab is another way to get screwed the wrong way...

I was really looking forward to eating here and was disappointed. Service was subpar. Maybe I am being too generous! I had to ask for silverware and was never asked about a refill. The food was not good and no one ever asked. I ordered the fish and chips. The fish was hit or miss... one was cooked and one was not. The waffle fries were harder than rocks. The cole slaw was blander than eating a napkin. I wish I wouldve paid attention to the recent reviews that said this place has tanked. The parking lot is always packed, but I will not return.

Was best place to eat in Willis until about a month or two ago and Its going downhill fast. The chicken fried steak today was INEDIBLE GARBAGE that you couldnt even cut through and took over an hour to get. A couple weeks ago I had the once amazing fried shrimp but it had pieces of shell all underneath the batter. Also they boast an extensive beer selection that they never have in stock. Only reason I gave them two stars is because it used to be amazing...

First time in food was delicious! Tried calling in a to go order the following week and and sat on hold 20 minutes before hanging up and calling back. I thought they would be apologetic but not at all! Called back 9 times before they answered; by now its all about the principle of things! The manager said we are just too busy to deal with to go orders on certain nights. REALLY????????????? I dont much care for their customer service~

Went there on 7-30-17 service suck took forever to get our food. On top of waiting 45mins to get our food we finally get it. My father bites in to his chicken tenders the chicken was spoiled and rotten. It Smelled disgusting. We had the waitress smell it also and she agreed that it was rotten and spoiled. The manager just said it was cold and she didnt want to smell it. I will be haven a health department visit this trashy place.

It WAS good until recently. Service is hit or miss. One of the bartenders with long black hair gave the worst service we ever had. Things have started to go downhill there. Last two times there, I had small crawfish (which I had to order a minimum of 2# of), and then fish that couldnt even be cut with a knife after it arrived at the table. The other locations are a lot better.
