I was there with my wife last Thursday and Flash Shockley was at the piano and did a few numbers on the sax. He is one of our favorite musicians. He is one of the best when it comes to "When a man loves a woman" I only know of 3 musicians in Houston who can really put the feeling into that song. One of those has retired.(miss Hank). The food is good, the service is great and we are going back again this evening. Stan & Minnie hope to hit the dance floor again. I will rate it one of the best places for the more sedate mature people who prefer a little light classic rock and smooth jazz.

What an outstanding bar! Clean, spacious, and calm. The patrons and staff have been very friendly on each visit and it is a pleasure to keep returning. Laid back "older" crowd is a welcome relief from the young louder generations. Kind of reminds me of a musicians/blues lounge. Wonderful atmosphere and great prices. Need I say more? We have found our new watering hole! Thanks J.P. for a great establishment

Came here for a party and had a blast! The staff was very busy with the party, but the owner was available and very friendly. Karaoke was scheduled the night of the party and it was fun to watch. Standard bar with a pool table and shuffleboard. Only surprised they did not have an tap beer. Everything was bottled, which wasnt a problem for me.

I come here at least once a week. The staff are amazing and you never have a full ashtray. The crowd is a bit older and the place is decorated wonderfully. Karaoke is nice as well.
