The atmosphere or "Tex-ambiance" of this place is what I consider to be above average for a bar or tavern. They had the fireplace and fire pits going, clean, comfortable, low lighting, ..other than those of us left standing, it felt very inviting and fun in there. Yes, It was very crowded but hey it was happy hour....so we head to the bar... Service _ Poor - Needs improvement- We could not get a seat except at the bar which was unfortunate because there was only one bartender working ? (one bartender during peak " happy hour" really?) Hats off to this bartender because he handled a lot. I know that he did his best but we did have to wait for quite a while to get a drink or order in. Food: Good - They get high marks for their wings. We had the Man Cave flavored wings... which were r Well cooked and flavored, with a little char.. sweet, savory, ... I definitely wanted another order!. Drinks: Decent variety for tap & cooler. It would be nice to see more taps ( for the beer lovers). Prices: Good - Their happy hour only goes to 6PM. Management seems to be the issue in this place, how about adding a half hour to the happy hour along with a bartender? Reduce the reservation table limits during peak times, and I believe you will have a winner. I will return and give them another shot soon. Thanks Just my two cents... DR

The absolute worst only gave it a star bc I had to! Stay AWAY! I went Saturday night at around 12AM with a friend of mine we had just left the movies & decided to get a bite to eat being that this was right next door. As soon as we walked in the atmosphere was off! No greeting...Nothing! First we found a table & sat down...we looked over the menus and had decided what to order. There were about 5-6 servers there and each & every one of them walked straight past us like we were invisible! Finally after about 35 mins of us just sitting there one stopped & asked if we had been helped & took our orders....the wait for the food was about 40 mins give or take & it was NOT exceptional. Fast forward to Monday evening & Im sick as a dog! Vomiting EVERYWHERE! Either I was poisoned or got food poisoning but one thing I do know is that Im sick bc of this place! I havent eaten out in months & when I finally do I get sick?? Im going to my doctor in the morning & he is going to run tests if anything is found in my system that isnt normal Im calling all of the news stations! Hell no I will not be returning & Ive already told all of my friends & colleagues how horrible this place is from the staff to the food!!!

We had the worst service, to begin the waitress never introduced herself before asking for our order & was not very friendly at all. Secondly, they brought the wrong order, had to reminded waitress of the beverages that we ordered, & the correct items ordered. Thirdly, they finally brought the order out the it taste over cooked. Lastly, we ordered 2 deserts & they only brought one & ask if we wanted to share it. Once again we had to remind the server that we ordered 2. It appeared that the waitressead was forced to apologize with the excuse that it was really busy. The manager was very apologetic and compensated for many mistakes. it is really hard to find people that enjoy their job & with a pleasant attitude.

9-16-16 2:00pm Hostess: How long have you been here? Was the answer I received when asking for a waiter/waitress. One would think that it wouldnt or shouldnt matter, but i guess it did for this girl. What a shame, the food was as good as I remember but they lacked in service. Poorly understaffed or just a lack of proper training could be at fault. I will say Shacorey was trying his best considering he was trying to tend to more than a few tables. No other help seemed to be around in an establishment semi full of customers. I have no intentions of returning, which is a shame considering this use to be one of our favorite restaurants. The hostess and servers need a serious wake-up call from management.

No Budweiser on tap, brought out one of my tables entres to another table then realized that it went to us and came to us and said she was going to put it back under the heat lamp until the rest of the food was done. They brought out a side salad with my entree so by the time I got done with my salad my food was cold, the also ended up running out of budWeiser bottles on a Sunday afternoon??? This is by far the worst brick house "tavern" I have been too. I prefer going to the one on 290 or the one in Humble. Please avoid going to this poorly managed and inexperienced "restaurant"...

The main seating area is composed of comfy couches and tables near a huge fireplace. Super great for a cozy date or small group of friends. Great selection of bar drinks. As for the food... I havent found anything on the menu that wasnt delicious. Fish and chips, meatballs, sandwiches, burgers, soft pretzels... Its all great. My one and only complaint would be that one time our waiter was so nice and talkative that he had trouble getting our order right. I highly recommend visiting.

They act like they are beer centric, yet serve 98 percent INBEV and macro beers. Our server had no clue what was going on, bringing the wrong beers, asking if we wanted a mixer with the rum and coke (what?), and requiring us to hand her our dirty dishes to get them off the table after waiting forever. I ordered a kobe beef pizza that arrived and didnt have beef on it. The food all around was subpar, but at least it matched the beer selection.

Good food, great selection of drinks, but they play games with happy hour timing. I showed up and wanted to order before happy hour, but had three different waitresses tell me they be right with me as time burned out for happy hour. By the time I ordered it was 7, and "the computer automatically changes over" so happy hour prices arent honored. If you come for happy hour show up early. Duck wings are great as are the pizzas.

My spouse and I couldnt decide what to eat as we were driving by on our way to the movies we decided to try this place out. We had one of the best dinners ever! Our waiter was Conor and he was amazing. Very friendly and upbeat. Keep in mind Im a picky eater so waiters usually roll their eyes or something is always wrong with my orders but with him, he looked happy to assist us. We recommend the bison burger!

The service is always quick when I go there. Philly Cheese Steak is tasty. A side salad instead of fries was a little small in my opinion. Id give 5 stars except our waiter was to talkative about himself Everytime he came to our table. FYI, customers dont want to hear about your life, goals, or anything else.
