Usually I would go to a pizza place for pizza. But on this Friday I was in Utica visiting my son who goes to college at SUNY Polytech. I had to go to Utica to pay a bill and I wanted to surprise him with our traditional fish fry sandwiches on Friday and chocolate milk. The search brought up this place as having fish fry. I I ordered two fish sandwiches, they offered fish fried well subs, and a basket of fried clams. The wait was a little unacceptable in that I actually left to get the chocolate milk and came back and they would just getting it ready after about 20 minutes. The fried clams were over breaded for being strips. The fish was nothing special, certainly not up to the standards Im used to in Syracuse from the number of traditional Friday fish fry places. I certainly wouldnt go back there again for Friday fish fry. I cant speak to the pizza since I didnt have any, but Im not sure if Ill go back and chance it.

Changed review, used to be much better. Food arrives cold quite often, delivery guy ranges from indifferent to rude and everything is overly greasy and over priced. The gold dust wings are still fantastic however. I just feel like the quality has dipped in recent months. Avoid their baskets, unless you enjoy a pool of coagulated grease on the bottom... this goes for shrimp and chicken baskets mind you. The last straw for us was when the wife got mildly ill from the chicken strips. To be fair she has a VERY weak stomach, and it was just too much grease this last time we ordered. It wasnt any kind of contamination. I just feel like they need to slow down their service, hire more help and more friendly help, and then we can bump this review back up to the 5 stars it had before.

Recently had *the*best*ever* sandwich from Pizza Boys. So good I had to write a review, which I usually dont. Best tuna melt sandwich, best sandwich, I ever had, even surpasses Tinys Grill famous ruebens Absolutely perfectly prepared with swiss, thin slice tomatoes and I added pickles, nice thin sliced garlic dill, on sourdough and lightly grilled, with an upgrade to the garlic parmesan curly fries, and they sprinkled the garlic parm over all. I also enjoy their chicken riggis (wish theyd add olives tho), ample portion served with salad and garlic bread. The wings, regular or boneless, pizza, and salads all highly recommended. Delivery is always prompt and the food always hot and fresh.

I love this place. The food is great. The pizza is the thinner NY-style and is the real deal, absolutely NOT cardboard microwaved zero taste pizza. The subs are really good and generously stuffed (but not overstuffed). The wings are really good as well, and their hottest sauce has some spice to be reckoned with. The staff have always treated me well. I havent had anything at the bar, but it seems to be a decent neighborhood grade simple bar.

While the food is great, it suffers from a horribly designed dining area. It still looks very much like the inside of an old autonomy shop. Like many central New York eateries it suffers from poorly laid out dining area. The price is great though and the food delicious. ..and isnt that why you go out to eat anyway?

Came in for a quick bite. Guy at the front was on some sort of service call and barely took out order. Another employee came in late and people were upset and cursing. Lots of cursing about random work drama coming from the kitchen. I was there with my kids and didnt appreciate it. Food was average.

Great little bar with around 20 taps you can find saranac beers, some craft beers, and some standard beers. The food menu consists of pizzas, wings, subs, paninis, sandwiches, and salads. Never a bad meal if this is the kind of food you are looking for. Sometimes loud if there is live music going on.

LOVE PIZZA BOYS! We just got the Family meal deal for a company lunch, it was amazing! The Family Deal including a Large Cheese Pizza,Large Order Baked Ziti, Texas Toast, Large Tossed Salad & 2 Liter for only $26.99. This fed all 6 of us Plus TONS of leftovers

Dont be fooled this place is horrible. Hit or miss at best. The pizza is soggy one day and ok the next. They give you a gallon of sauce in your wings. They dont know what crispy/fried hard means. The live music is the savings grace.

There is so much to love about pizza boys! All their food is amazing, they have $1 slices on Tuesdays and live music throughout the week. They recently just opened a tap room and have over 21 beers on tap!

Pizza is by far the best in area (my opinion) love the upside down pizza. Deep fried Oreos!!! Beer selections continues to impress and cannot beat early bird beer specials which includes craft beer

Clean and even has an attached bar now. The 1$ pizza slices on Tuesday are good and the volcanic wings mean business. Its big enough to have a get together or board game without causing problems.

Absolutely great subs! The service was quick for a walk in order, and the staff was super polite. Once they get the liquor license, and can sell me a beer, itll be complete. Great place to try!

I got the turkey melt and the bacon wasnt crispy like i asked and the sandwich wasnt even hot and the cheese wasnt even melted and got curly fries with it and the fries werent even that hot.

We go there for wing night on Wednesdays.. Where can you go and get fifty cent wings nowadays. The college kids love dollar slice Tuesdays too.. The manager is responsive and friendly.

Great place for food, drinks, friends, and music. You can chat with your friends or family in the Pizzeria, or in the bar/taproom. You may want to sit in there outdoor fenced in patio.
