I saw the listing on google maps said they were closed, after I drove to the woodlands expecting a rare indulgent breakfast. I could only think "Oh no, they better not be!" and drove to see for myself. Thankfully the sign said Open and I could see customers through the window. The staff said they heard about the google listing saying closed, but they dod not know how to get it removed. I am doing my best here! If you want simple luxury, come here, they have the most friendly staff and the food is wonderful, and not overly expensive. No, you will not find a Grand Slam menu for 5.99 or whatever, but you will find so many unexpected pleasures.. Try their French Toast with Fruit, or the Egg Crêpe Champignon is just wonderful! On the other side, the Potato Galette is not my cup of tea, and the regular coffee tends to be a bit weak for my taste, but they also have a full coffee bar like that Star something place... served in huge ceramic mugs. To die for!

So I visited the Restaurant on 8/15/17 with my Husband and son. My son and I always asked for the chicken bistro sandwich accompanied with a soup and Hubby always gets his Mediterrean Salad.... well today one of the servers told us that they had none of the vegetables that come in the salad and unfortanutely my Husband is diabetic and need it to eat to take his meds but he doesnt eat sandwiches nor does he like the Caesar salad but due to the circumtances I asked the Manager Dawn Cre if she could give me half Caesar salad for a discount since I knew my husband was only going to eat few bites just to take his meds but she bluntely and rudely said no!!! to my surprise even the servers wanted to give us a discount because they agreed that Restaurant was at fault but Mrs Dawn Cre was ugly and rude... this I call poor management and will be my last time here!!!

My favorite place is being ruined. I walk in and no menus. No problem I know what I want since I come here every Monday for the past 2 years. I was ordering and the customer ahead of me needed a tray and the manager was being rude as hell to this older white lady on were to get trays from . There was no trays where she said so she had to get one where I was standing. Still not really a problem. I ordered hot tea and the manager got upset at me because there wasnt no tea where the put them so I didnt want to bother her so I got it myself. (3ft behind her). She got very hostile. I no longer feel my food is safe to eat so I had to watch them. I walk over to the bakery counter and that thing is cluster up too.....I feel sorry for the employees. Food still tasted good. Hope I dont get sick

Rude, impartial staff who got my party of 6s orders wrong. Every one of our orders had something mixed up or missing. Ordered a whole sandwich and they only have us a half. The man ringing up our meals got so impatient trying to figure out who was paying for what that he literally just stopped what he was doing, closed his eyes, and stood there in silence until someone else came up to take his place and help us instead. While he was preparing my order, he yelled at the other staff that there wasnt enough sauce left, then just left the plate out of my reach and left it there. The place reeked and everything felt sticky and disorganized. Just because we came in an hour and half before closing does not mean they should have treated us this way. Would not recommend.

Food was delicious. Woman taking orders was extremely rude to me and my friend. 4 of us came for her birthday lunch. She wanted to order a combo of Tomatoe soup and Tomatoe pesto salad. Woman didnt understand what she wanted so I told her and she said for me not to bother telling her what my friend wanted. I told checkout woman and she shrugged her shoulder. So my friend got bowl of soup and cup of another pasta salad. So we were all disappointed but my friend didnt want to bother w/it anymore

The food was amazing. Especially the breakfast, which is served all day. I highly recommend the country french breakfast and the french toast. The food came quickly and the workers were friendly and helpful when we werent sure where to order. At first the organization of the restaurant was a little wonky but with the help of the staff it made sense. It was an extremely pleasant experience and i would definitely go there again.

The last few times I have been here it has been horrible. The staff is rude. The orders are almost always wrong. Today my mom and I had to send our food back because it was stone cold!!!! It has also been filthy; time before last we sat in a booth against a wall, my daughter looked behind the booth at a ledge and pulled up old food covered in dust!!!! I used to love this place, but I dont think Ill be coming back!!!

I came to the La Madeleine for a comforting breakfast after spending the night/morning with my Dad in the icu. I think maybe the person taking my order could tell I was upset, and without asking, he was incredibly gracious to me. Its amazing how the simple acts of a stranger, like getting someone a tray or even just speaking in a gentle tone, can make a big difference. Definitely coming back here again.

My wife and I used to love coming here, but the quality has gone downhill. There is rarely chicken friand available whenever I visit. Also, there is never any fresh bread available, you have to ask the staff for more. The chef in the back actually laughed when I asked for fresh bread. Writing this review in the restaurant while eating my last meal here on 8/4/17 2:20pm

Use to be one of our favorite spots. recently quality has really gone downhill. soup was cold. dishes were not clean. lipstick on glasses and coffee cups. After we sent the soup back, manager came out, gave us a $10 gift card for our future use. not sure we will use it. Entire restaurant is basically just filthy. Someone needs to get their act together.

We love la Madeleine food but this location has bad service. Too slow service no one to take orders and staff is not paying attention to customer waiting to order. Also whole place stinks. Smells bad and not cleaned. Tables are dirty too. We went twice hoping to see some change in service but was same bad service. Never go to this one again.

This was my first time visiting this cafe. The food was great, but the servers rude and lackadaisical attitude completely turned me off. I would very much like to visit this place again but I doubt if I can stomach the bad customer service. Please train your employees on how to provide good customer service.

Food is good and keep comming back but the restaurant itself isnt very clean, which is concerning from a visitor standpoint because if the front of the house isnt clean the back of the house probably isnt clean. Lunch seems better taken care of but the night staff lets it go
