Wow,,, have you ever eaten spicy food and you know the heat is slowly building but you cant put down your fork to take a drink of water? Well thats the Lamb Korma at this place. Not only was the entree finger licking good the Kheer had an awesome consistency with just enough cardamon / rose water to not be overwhelming, To finish it all of the Mango Lassi was spot on with fresh mango and yogurt that complimented each other perfectly. I try to write honest reviews with both good, bad and neutral points but Im really at a loss to find anything negative about this restaurant. **Disclaimer: This was delivery so I am not sure about the physical restaurant or the customer service, this is purely based on the food delivered through seamless**

One of the best places... One of the best places to go for authentic Indian grill best food! I love the flavors at Viceroy and the staff is really friendly and helpful. Being Indian, I like the fact that the food is absolutely authentic and healthy (not submerged in loads and loads of oil like other places). You wont be disappointed, your stomach will be happy and your wallet wont be completely empty... take it from me, Im a student again. I have even frequented their Greens point area location for the lunch buffet only 10.99 when I used to work in the area and I would totally recommend the place to others. The buffet is a great deal - lots of variety. This place is spiced just right. Four chicken tikka masala and biryanis !!!

The first moment I walked into this place my mouth began to salivate as the aroma of the food and the spices began to fill my nose. After the first bite I wasnt disappointed. All of the dishes are seasoned very nicely and not overdone with the Indian spices and theres always a good variety at the lunch buffet. Some of my personal favorites are the chicken tikka masala, lamb vindaloo, mutton curry, and some of the vegetable dishes like the chana masala (chickpeas) and dal palak (spinach). If youve never had Indian food, youre missing out and this place would be a great place to get introduced to the fantastic flavors and a very good price. You wont regret it.

Wow this was a great random find. I was pretty tired after reaching Houston from an early morning flight. Just wanted to pick some good food, head to my hotel and eat. Decided to do a pick from Indian Grill, came here twice during my recent stay in the area. Tried - *Shrimp masala *Dal(Lentils) *Fish Tandoori *Shrimp Kadhai I liked the food, though I would say shrimp masala is way better than kadhai because they tend to add much peppers in Shrimp Kadhai.Masala dish was little greasy. I would recommend sticking to naans as the chapati(Roti) was not made with proper roti flour. Decent place for Indian food.

I wasnt impressed or disgusted with the food offered here. The service was fantastic. There was an older gentleman who was very attentive and for not being Indian, he sure did know a lot about the food, how its prepared, and whats inside of it. He is very kind and sweet. The food tasted a bit "mainstream" to me and the sauces were runny like they had been watered down several times over. The food was fresh and the restaurant was kept tidy. There seemed to be a lot of traffic the two times I went, so there is no concern of "old" food sitting about on a buffet line. Its a reasonably priced Indian buffet.

What a great find in North Houston off 45 near Greenspoint. You can say I hooked - I currently eat at the Indian Grill 6 days a week. Buffet Monday - Friday; Saturday - No Buffet; so I let them cook whatever they want - Its like having your own personal chef on Saturday. I am always pleasantly surprised. Whats really amazing is how many ways they vary the spices between the same dishes. Every day it tastes a little different - No reason for me go to other lunch spots - I get all the variety I need here. Try a glass of the fresh squeezed watermelon juice (new addition).

The food is absolutely delicious!! The Garlic Naan is the best iv ever had. We came around 6pm and had the place to ourselves. The host was very friendly, but the only issue was since it was late in the afternoon seems like most of the staff was gone for the day. One of the cooks brought out our food. We never got to try the Butter Naan because he accidentally dropped it on the floor, the funny part was he dusted it off and set it on our table as if nothing happened lol. I didnt say anything because i could tell he was nervous & didnt speak any English.

TERRIBLE! My lassi was sour and did not taste anything like a mango drink at all. I payed $30 and when I called to complain about my rice being dry with no sauce to eat with and no lamb in sight, The lady put me on hold and told me to call back some other time. Like seriously? It was already bad enough she couldnt comprehend English. And no she wasnt Indian. She was Hispanic. But the service I received was down right terrible. I called the next day to speak with the manager and still nothing. I would not recommended this place to anyone.

We ordered a Veg biryani and a Chicken biryani as we were carving to have Indian food after driving for 14 hours from Florida. The Veg biryani had vegetable pieces as big as the vegetable itself and and the biryani was kind of semi gravy. I have eaten biryani from many places and never had this experience. My chicken B was just ok with some part of the rice not well mixed with masala and the chicken over cooked/over re-heated. I wont recommend this place if you are looking to have quality Indian food.

Authentic Indian flavor without the mandatory fire that burns your pallet. They are doing so well they had to expand their dinning room. Food is superb. Today I particularly enjoyed the eggplant dish. Biryani can use some masala to make it mire flavorful. Loved the fruit pudding with fresh fruit instead of fruit cocktail that most Indian restaurants use. I have been traveling a lot and visited after more than a year and was pleasantly surprised to see the bigger dinning room. Excellent as always.

Absolutely delicious, the best food ever, everything was so fresh and so juicy, the buffet was so well organized, the price was very little for the quality of the food, and the staff was very friendly. I highly recommend this great Indian restaurant to anyone. I had a chance to talk to the owner and he is very nice person and honest. I now go there twice a week and can’t have enough of the delicious cook.

I would not have known this little treasure was here unless a friend had taken me. There was a wide variety of food there and each dish I ate had a perfect balance of spice and flavor. Everything tasted fresh and filling. With the menu changing each day I have a place I can return to without having to eat the same thing over again. If you like Indian food, spice, and curry, then this place is for you!
