el servicio malo....El "manager" que parecía todo menos eso, fue hablar a la mesa con nosotros ya que estábamos festejando un cumpleaños, y pedimos el pastel de cortesía para cumpleañera, el mesero da a elegir entre 3 diferentes, se escogió uno, el mesero lo trae hasta con la vela encendida y resulta q nos lo cobra a la hora de pagar! Le decimos que se supone q es cortesía, que Porq lo esta cobrando? Y dice porq el de cumpleaños es un brownie con helado, y le decimos q el fue el que dio a escoger, que para que hace eso? Si pedimos el de cortesía... Le habla al "manager" llega el tipo mascando chicle con la boca abierta durante toda la conversación, y no resuelve nada. Dice q efectivamente el pastel de cortesía es el brownie... Y le dijimos lo q había pasado, y para no hacer largo el cuento. Resuelve un problema mas rápido un perro que ese disque "manager"... Una de las cosas más desagradables, parecía q estábamos hablándole a una pared con chicle. Asco.

It pains me to write this review because we have been loyal since this place first opened. The menu has diminished over the years but the service and quality was always real good so we stayed with them. We must have sent 30+ people there over the years. Yesterday we arrived to an almost empty restaurant. There was one person at the bar and one table of two and it was 5:00. Our waiter seemed lost and could not tell us what beer was on draught or answer any other questions. While he got my wife’s Margaretta I went to check out the draught situation. When he finally showed up with the Margaretta I ordered the draught I wanted and he argued with me about not having it. I did finally receive my beer and after another 15 minutes he brought my grandsons Dr.Pepper. The chicken was pretty good on all three plates but my plate that was to have fajita chicken and beef, had a tiny portion of beef and it was un eatable and looked like it was yesterday’s road kill. The Charro beans also looked like yesterdays and was equally terrible. All in all the service was worse than bad and the food was a huge disappointment. We could have gotten better food and service from a lunch truck and not spent $81.00. We have not been there in about 8 months and had no idea that it had gone downhill to this extent. Maybe this is why it was empty.

I went here with a group of people beginning of 2017 and everything was ok and I wanted to try it again today and it was a terrible experience. The server did not know what he was serving, I ordered a beef steak taco(barbacoa) and told him to substitute the bean with rice because I dont eat pork. The server brought me a pure pork taco plate with rice only! and unfortunately I had a taste of it and realized it was not beef, when I asked him what it was he told me pork steak, and then I told him I ordered beef steak taco, he said yes I think it is that. If I hadnt insisted, I was going to eat pork and pay for beef. I asked for manager he/she did not care to show up at all. so we just left the place. never going back to this place again.

Have been to this place twice. Once tried the combination fajitas and second time, tried the Tres Fajitas. The combination fajitas were good with just the chicken and beef. The problem with the Tres Fajitas were the bacon wrapped shrimps. The bacon used was a bit too salty and the bacon wrapped shrimp were charred a bit too much. The place does serve some good tortilla chips and good salsa sauces. All in all I woukd definitely be back to this place to explore the menu more.

Great atmosphere and ambiance. Do not be mislead by this cantinas lack of guests! The food and service were awrsome, and the drinks were strong. The waitresses were very attentive to my familys needs. The bartender even made an off the menu drink for us. While the menu may not be as extensive as other chain restaurants, everything we ordered was impecable. I definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, yet delicious authentic mexican dinner.

I just happened upon this one because it was next door to the hotel I was staying at. Im a native West Texan and Im a diehard Leals fan but coming down to the coast and experiencing this other style of Tex-Mex was a treat! Wonderful atmosphere and reasonable pricing for the great quality of food. I only wish I could be here during the weekend to experience the live music!

Service Sucks. Manager and hostess very rude. We had a reservation for 8 and 6 of us got there on time but they wouldnt sit us until all 8 were there. Manager said that if the other 2 didnt show up they will loose money. Manager came to our table and pretty much told us next time you come be all here at the same time. Do not go there Rude Staff no clue of customer service

Stopped by for a happy hour margarita and some guacamole. Love the feel of the place and the bartender Matt was awesome. However the corn tortillas are worse than store bought!! Come on man....Make an effort even the bartender said sorry and agreed. Management you have the equipment to make fresh flour dont waste a great experience on bad laziness.

This place is awesome. Some of the best Mexican food Ive ever had that wasnt homemade. If you order guacamole, the waiter brings all of the ingredients to you table and makes it right in front of you. And its pretty darn good guacamole too. The restaurant is very clean and the staff are great. If you go in the evening, they even have a live band!

perfectly adequate food - but nothing to write home about. so many tex-mex places follow the same recipe: push the drinks & guacamole, and hope no one notices the rest of the food is sub-par. very interesting interior, and great to sit outside when the weather is nice. too bad you have to eat the food.

The guacamole was awesome however when it came down to the enchilada entree, it was not good. I ordered the chicken enchiladas and the chicken tasted like it came from a can. It was bland & tasteless. The Re fried beans tasted better than the main entree. It was my first time trying their food.

Customer service is exceptional here! By far the best Mexican restaurant Ive been too in a long time. The whole staff is great but Alejandro stands out! And the restaurant manager is the bomb. Customer service is huge for me...I will be back....btw the food is awesome sauce!
