This is my last over priced, mediocre (at best) meal at Los Tios. Good luck getting good service here unless youre a "regular". Even though we go there at least once a month (sometimes weekly, since its 100 yards from my house), I guess we arent old and rich enough to be considered regulars. The ONLY reason I wanted to go there tonight is because I wanted to watch the Mavericks playoff game. I totally get I live in Houston, and I certainly wouldnt ask for them to change the Rockets game to the Mavericks game, but since the only thing on the tv was Calvins sequin suit giving a pregameshow spill with NO sound on (and this is the PLAYOFFS), they could have changed the channel, but they didnt, and even worst the waiter lied to my face. SMH thats why you didnt get a tip! Other than that I asked for a fully dressed Corona that came naked, management is stuck up, we never see the same waiter twice, we got cold enchiladas a couple months ago and we have waited over 30 minutes for service/food on several ocassions. For the same price you can get delicious, high quality food and fast, friendly service at Ninfas. Dont waste your time or money!

My experience: 11.20.2015 The host was a cell-phone brainwashed zombie, when she did notice us she given no smile, no happiness in her voice or on her face. But after seating us, she suddenly got a personality, but only when it was in regards to the young men who worked in the establishment. The waiter, Aby, was actually nice, well-mannered, and welcoming. The food was less than authentic. Revolting, but we remained silent, due to the mere fact that we were indeed hungry. My mother and I ordered the same thing. Two measly beef fajita enchiladas, with bland refried beans, a crap load of pico, a decent slice of avocado, nearly white rice with peas, carrots. The sauce was pure tomato paste, straight out of the can with melted cheese on top. Absolutely dreadful. Altogether, it was horrifically bland, with the exception of the overly intensified tomato paste. My father ordered fish tacos, I suppose the kitchen staff didnt get the memo. He received a cup of bland beans, white rice, and two cabbage tacos. No, they didnt forget the fish, they just gave two insanely thin fillets. Gordan Ramsey would pop every major blood vessel in his body.

Atmosphere has not changed in decades and the menu is the same too. DONT even think about eating here during any usual dinner hours unless you like to wait for an hour to eat average to poor food. The staffs only concern is to cattle car you in and out of the restaurant as fast as possible..... of course because the entrance is packed with people waiting. LAST time we ate, or tried to eat here, the hostess said it was a 30 minute wait and after an hour, we left. Sad because this chain has been in Houston for 30+ years and has gone down hill.

Ordered on UberEats.. my first UberEats order. Placed the order at 6:30 pm. I live 11 miles from los tios (19 minutes on google maps). I am beyond impressed. We got 2 orders of beef fajitas & 1 combo fajitas & the queso with beef. We were super impressed with both the food and the UberEats service. Food got here at 7:18 pm. It was amazing. Their green sauce was top notch. Fajitas were some of the best Ive had. No complaints. A+++++

We love this place and come all the time. The Los Tios Special dip is awesome. My 8 year old loves the green sauce and enchiladas. My daughter loves the beef fajita steak quesadilla. My husband and I share the fajita présidente. The frozen margaritas are good. They also have a skinny margarita thats pretty good. All the wait staff have been friendly and helpful.

Came up here for lunch, got the enchiladas special with ranchero beans and a margarita. The enchiladas were pretty good, would come back for these again but the ranchero beans were nasty and the rita was way over priced. 6 dollars for abt an 6 Oz serving. Needless to say Im not impressed by that. Would i come back yes but only during happy hour.

Worst Mexican Restaurant The food has no taste at all and Ive tried 3 different dishes already. I can cook better than this. The grilled chicken was hard , dry .The only reason why I came here was because its convenient for my friend for lunch break I rather eat chick fil a or a juicy burger than this.

Bad service and food is awful took too long to make some tacos, not worth the waiting. Food tastes nothing like it is supposed to I wouldnt be surprised if the owner doesnt know at Mexican cuisine. Not coming back never nor letting my loved one eat here...

We waited our food for more than half hour. The presentation of the plate was poor and the quality of the ingredients was under expectations when compared to the price. The service was overwhelmed and could not attend us. Would not recommend this place.

The food is always fresh and good. Never had a bad experience here. Eat here at least once a week. And they treat the first responders good which is a big plus in my book. Highly recommended. Staff is always friendly and has good customer service.

Love this place. But get here early because the locals love it too and Ive seen families wait up to two hours Their green sauce is excellent and I think this place is an excellent alternative to Lupe s The tortillas are very homemade

Orders via uber eats. The food was so bad we had to literally throw it away. The beef was surely something else- maybe dog meat or something because it did not taste like beef at alL. Absolutely the worst Mexican food Ive ever had.

I ate their last night and was somewhat disappointed. I ordered fajita steak and the meat was cut wrong so it was stringy. Any competent cook knows that you cut it cross grain. Service was ok but the main dish was suspect.

BEST frozen margaritas around! Service is friendly and prompt. If youre in a hurry dont go on Friday evening; thats when all the families from the neighborhood come to get their Tex-Mex and margarita fix! Its packed.

Alot has change since i was here few months ago, waiteress are very attentive, flies are long gone, margaritas are strong, food was delicious. Really recommend coming here for lunch food was served hot and fast.
