Visiting Georgetown from Austin. Had lunch at Burger University. Big juicy burgers, fantastic onion rings (sweet onions that were also used for grilled onions on burger), good sweet potato fries. Received 10% "financial aid" as first time customers. Wife and I each had a 1/3 lbs burger (could have split it), and split a side order of onion rings/sweet potato fries. We are good eaters, but this was too much food for us and with two drinks was less than $20. We will have to visit Georgetown on a regular basis, just to get our burger & rings fix at Burger University. they should consider franchising!

Okay, I always take my visitors here, because the burgers are pretty good and the inside is so quaint and cute, but its nothing special really. If you need a quick burger and really good sweet potato fries while on Georgetown Square, this corner location on the North side of the Square is easy to pop in and grab a meal. Its usually packed full of families, extremely loud, and the condiment area where you "dress" your burger looks like a tornado went through it. Needs to be kept clean throughout the day by the staff. Otherwise, Im okay with this place.

Burgers are yum! The place is really cool in decor and we went on Friday night so there was live music. I ordered The Mascot with its blue cheese chunks and grilled onions. Hubby ordered the MBA but couldnt finish it because it was so big but he loved the fried jalapeños mixed with the BBQ flavor. Theres a toppings bar so your burger can have the right amount of lettuce and mayo or onions and special sauce. We got the half/half of onion rings/fries and couldve shared them with our friends. Good selection of beers as well.

Finally drove by to find a short line. 5 people in front of us! Awesome (we thought). 20 minutes later there were still 2 people in front of us. Then the printer messed up and the cashier left. We finally located him when he was running burgers out to different tables. After 30 minutes we finally put in our order and found a table. Another 20 minutes and our food showed up. The burgers were forgettable but the onion rings were good. This place isnt worth the wait or money.

Update!! After going here several times my girlfriend I got rather sick from French fries. Not coming back as it seems management is slacking a little bit on maintenance and quality control. Good cook but something slipped and just not worth going back Top notch burgers at a good price. Nice atmosphere and good yet occasionally a tad late service. Worth visiting for burgers and food. Its a nice venue and my top pick for town.

Great burgers. I love the mascot, basically a bacon and bleu burger. The small fries puts anyone elses french fry serving sizes to shame; definitely enough there for 2 to share. I didnt run into a line or wait long for my order. Only downside is sitting upstairs, you may have to go back down to grab condiments. Not worth dropping a star though.

Come hungry! Great burgers, HUGE basket of fries. This restaurant boasts a family friendly atmosphere, while attracting the college crowd. The location allows one the opportunity to enjoy a favorite soft drink or adult beverage while taking in the sights of the historic square.

Overall, the burgers are fantastic. The people are friendly, but services can be hit or miss. I will say lately it has been spot on though. This is a great place to come with your family. Be aware though that if you have special needs the elevator is often broken.

Wonderful exchange student burger (mushroom swiss) very flavorful and filling. Fun environment, they took 15 people in the middle of dinner rush and didnt bat an eye.We were seated together immediately and out food arrived in a very timely fashion.

Fresh, made to order food in a historical building, served by a friendly staff. This place is a family favorite- one of those restaurants you cant wait to take out-of-town guests to, or just to stop in for an extra-tasty lunch alone or with friends.

Drove by many times didnt know it was there. Glad I found it. Burgers were good, sweet potato fries great. Friends ordered a small fries/onion rings more than enough for 2. A super place to sit back, have a conversation and enjoy a meal.

Great location and the service was good, but there are too many places to get a better burger. I liked the variety of choices, but found the burger to be a bit dry. My votes would go for Mighty Fine or Whataburger over this place. Sorry.

Went for a fundraiser, and feel in love. Fun theme and decor, great staff, and fun music. Then, the FOOD! Great and incentive varieties of burgers, well made and delicious. Awesome fries, too. Cant go wrong coming here!
