A decent burger spot in downtown Austin to grab in a hurry. The service is exceptionally friendly and fast. Only real downside is that the location is literally on the side of the JW Marriott hotel so there are only some standing tables and a couple of benches next to the street to eat. Their Big Mouth Burger comes with a double sized beef patty, blistered chilis (added for flavor rather than heat), sweet caramelized bacon, and their own version of special sauce; needless to say you will need a big mouth to take a bite out of this burger. Their thick peanut butter pretzel shake may not be the best thing to wash down that mouthful bite, but it certainly is a very tasty drink nonetheless. The salty crunchy bits of pretzels is a great compliment to the thick smoothy texture of this sweet shake.

I was really excited about having a burger place just a couple of blocks from my office. I have been three times, but Im probably not going back Visit #1: Between waiting in line and waiting for my burger, it took over 45 minutes. I chalked it up to them opening recently. Visit #2: My burger patties were WAAY overcooked. The toppings and sauce were good, but the burgers was almost unpalatable. Visit #3: Shorter line at 11:30a and after being open a few weeks. But, I got a nearly-rare patty and an overcooked patty in the same burger. It was so visually startling that I took a photo. Wish I could post it here.

I visited the Burger Bar yesterday only because I had little time and it was convenient during a jam packed conference. I did not expect much but something to get me through an afternoon of seminars and workshops, but it was so delicious that I came back hours later for a second one! Two burgers in one day is not usual for me, but these are not usual burgers somehow. The staff was friendly and chatty, the food is prepared in front of you and I hope every JW Marriott adapts this model for a convenient, affordable, and tasty option for busy guests. Loved it!

This is a great spot to grab a quick lunch on a gorgeous day. The Burger Bar has a limited menu, but the food is prepared fresh and quickly right in front of you. The burger was flavorful and juicy. The fries were also good, but I was jealous of the onion rings. They have a few high-boy tables to stand at while eating, but no seating. This is glamorous street food.

First time and we love it. They were really nice to us. I love the fact that they are right at street feel like they really give you a warm welcome, and the smell god is calling you for a try. The price is incredible specially when youre down town and think everything is expensive. Thumbs up for you guys. I really recommend.

The staff was very friendly, which is hard on a 100+ day, and were eager to make conversation. The burgers were absolutely delicious, completely worth the wait. The only bad thing is that I live too far away to go to it a lot. If youre looking for a good burger place this is definitely worth your time.

Loved the Big Mouth Burger especially the candied jalapeños. The onion rings were great with a flavor I hadnt tasted before and what could be bad about a strawberry shortcake shake. A "must try" kind of place. This place puts Austin on the map for this North Carolina girl!

Classic diner style griddle cooking up extremely tasty burgers. Everything from the cheese to the turkey to the black bean burger is excellent. Not your fancy "gourmet burger" by any means. Come here if youre looking for a real burger. Also - very well priced.

Easily the best, most affordable burger ive had in ages. Not to mention their fries... Which are hands down the best fries ive ever had. Ever since I took my first bite from my first double bacon cheesburger, Ive been craving it like crazy. SO GOOD.

Burgers here are really good and service is great too. Keep in mind it tends to get busy during lunch hour so be prepared for a bit of a wait. There are a couple standing tables nearby but not very many places to sit down, so plan accordingly!

Lines were long and multiple customers got wrong order. I was served a cold uncooked burger. They did provide me with a replacement but that doesnt make up for the grave mistake.
