Yesterday, I went to Taco Diner with four other people to get some drinks and food after the Art Festival. Each person had a maximum of 2 drinks and as we were finishing up eating and chatting, Veronica Cruz, Manager, informed us that she had called security and that we needed to quiet down. We talked to Christopher, our waiter, who was excellent and asked him what the problem was. We had probably been there for an hour or better and didnt understand why no one said anything to us and then BAM! Security was being called. I expressed my appreciation to Christopher for being nice and asking us to quiet down, versus how the Manager was rude and threatening. Then, Misael, another Manager, comes over and tells us we need to leave because the cops are being called. We paid and left but I am baffled that: 1. They thought we were loud enough to call the cops. 2. They asked us to quiet down, so we practically had to whisper, and security was called anyways. It seems to me they wanted us out of there because we had paid and we were taking up a table they wanted to give someone else. Very confused and disappointed with the food, drinks, and especially the lack of professionalism and customer service. Will never go back.

We were having a lovely time at Sundance Square until we went to the ☆ Taco Diner, at first when walk in its very nice and ☆ Nancy the manager is very attentive, But if youre very unfortunate you will get a waiter by the name of SHANNON, (a slender redhead male). He was very rude disrespectful, the absolute worst waiter Ive ever encountered. Take my advice if you ever go there and he is you waiter ask for another waiter like ☆Bernadis, she a very good waitress. Shannon made faces at us when we asked if the cream could be warmed up, he also argued with me when he brought out a fountain drink and I had ordered a bottle of coke, then when my husband and uncle told him, they heard me specifically order a bottle coke he took the fountain coke back returned with a coffee said the were out of bottle coke and the WE the paying customers needed to show him some respect. Then he went inside and a very nice waitress named Bernadis took over. At ☆ Taco Diner managerment and staff are very nice and its a nice family environment as long as SHANNON is not your waiter. After we spoke to the manager she did apologize for his behavior, pretty sad since she and Bernadis are great at their job.

Ate here on the patio and got nachos a while back, all was great. Today sat inside while on a romantic night out on the town with my husband, all was AWFUL. Well queso was good, that was it. Service was slow and bad, waitresses barely came to table and barely spoke two words. I placed my order and she started to run off, we had to flag her down for my husband to place his order. The enchiladas were so tough I couldnt cut them with a knife. We asked her to remove them from the ticket and let us check out. She brought the check w/o a word, not a sorry, come again, nothing. Then Sent someone else to collect the card from us after we had already ran the tab with the bartender so we wouldnt have to continue waiting on her. Ugh. Will not be back here again

We came here on a Saturday night so it was busy but luckily we were seated right away. We ordered the La Paloma and a Jalapeño Margarita which were super tasty with a hefty amount of alcohol. So if thats your thing, this is your place! For our entrees, we had the Crispy Enchiladas with white cheese, and a basic taco salad. For a somewhat fancy Mexican restaurant, the food was actually really good. The portions were big and the prices were perfect. For 2 drinks and 2 entrees, we only paid $41. I havent even made it to the best part yet. The Tres Leches cake is out of this world amazing!! Its a huge slice, and its some of the best Ive ever had. Overall, great service, great food, and a nice atmosphere.

DO NOT GO THERE! FOOD IS NOT GOOD. Me and my boyfriend went to check out the art festival. I have always wanted to check out Taco Diner because we LOOOVE tacos and its at a wonderful location, it was a beautiful day so we sat outside. The complimentary chips and salsa were AWFUL. There was zero flavor in the avocado "salsa" and zero flavor in the roasted tomato salsa. When we ordered I asked the waitress what she recommended and she said the De Brisket was the most popular. We both got it. Nothing special abt it AT ALL. I wanted more flavor because I like spice so I asked for some spicy salsa. It was AWFUL tasting but it was spicy. The margaritas were good.

So our original plan was to go to the Cheesecake Factory for my birthday but they were crazy busy so I thought we could give the Taco Diner a shot. First indication that something was wrong was the lack of customers when every other place was packed. Our server had to ask everyone at least 2 times what they wanted to drink and she was writing it down! 3 of the 7 dinners we ordered were wrong, we had to wait to get our drinks refilled as we were trying to choke down the nasty food that they pass off as Mexican food. Its a great location Im just not sure how they stay in business. Wont be going back, ever!, and wont recommend to my family and friends.

We had lunch at the new Taco Diner Waterside in southwest Fort Worth. We shared a taco plate of 3 carne asada beef tacos. They were dressed with queso fresco. They were fantastic. We were offered chips and two dipping sauces before ordering. The chips are made in house. They were delicious. I ordered a Coca Cola from Mexico. They also have other nonalcoholic refreshing drink options including a limeade and mango drink as well. The bar serves margaritas, beer, and other alcoholic beverages. Pricing was reasonable. Service was great. In cool weather they will serve outdoors. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We only sat on the outdoor patio so I cant speak for the entire place. It was really nice to be right on Sundance Square having drinks which is all we had. The service wasnt that great. The sangria my wife ordered was HUGE, but it tasted like watered down really cheap wine. We sent it back and ordered a regular margarita on the rocks. It was as expected. Nothing spectacular. I had the Michelado (tomato juice, spices, and your choice of beer) and it was really good. However, it was REALLY spicy. I didnt mind, but they should mention it on the menu. It was a date night so we had a great time regardless.

Terrible service! We waited 20 minutes since arriving and nobody ever came over to our table. I had to get up and get someone. The place was pretty much empty, so they had no excuses. Once the waitress came over she was extremely rude almost offended as if she had better things to do. The food was a disgrace. Everything including the salsa was bland. Avacado salad means bagged iceberg lettuce, two slices of tomato and a miniscule slice of avacado. The only reason this place is still open is because they have a great location and feed off of unsuspecting customers. Save your money and go elsewhere!
