I had a bad experience with Pei Wei when they first opened, many years ago. Thought I would give them another chance, and was very disappointed. The girl (she looked 17 at the most) who took my carry out order, barely made eye contact with me and kept correcting me when I tried to place my order. I asked her if I could order the new Thai Chicken without green pepper, and got a blank look. She finally said "you mean the Thai BASIL Chicken". Yes, that is what I meant. I reiterated, no green peppers. She asked "No green onion"? NO, no green peppers. She responded, "Mam, we dont serve green peppers here. I consulted the menu and then asked her to hold the bell peppers (I thought they were the same thing, silly me). Then it was on to the rice question. "What kind of rice do you want"? I answered, "brown rice if you have it". Mam we have three kinds of rice. "Does that include brown rice"? I asked. It did. Rice question resolved. When I got home and opened the box, There was brown rice, a LOT of it! In fact, it was mostly rice, and four little dried pieces of chicken, four small green beans and what appeared to be an entire onion sliced up on it with two basil leaves. $10.00 for a cup of rice and an onion??!! Never again, Pei Wei!!!

Im consistently dissatisfied after eating at Pei Wei. Today I tried the new chicken Thai curry dish, which was a sad representation of coconut curry. I didnt expect an authentic representation, but at least they should get the flavors right. The curry was more of a slightly sweet, acidic and spicy gravy. I couldnt taste distinct coconut or curry flavors, which was disappointing. Also, we tried the new Japanese shrimp and steak noodle dish, which was another disappointment. The steak was overcooked and the shrimp tasted "fishy". I often enjoy Asian fusion and authentic cuisine from various Asian cultures, but Pei Wei cant seem to do either correctly. If you want fresh Thai, Japenese, Korean, or Americanized Chinese dishes youd do better elsewhere.

I ordered to-go, and had someone else pick it up and bring it to me while i was at work - when it got here.. they had made a small mistake on one of the entrees, i was not able to drive to the store, being at work until 10pm and them closing before that time on a sunday.. i called them... One of the employees, Jennifer and The manager Dustin - maybe Justin (im sorry) -were extremly nice and helpful about getting it sorted out, and showed they did care. I never write reviews but I appreciate good customer-service when it passes my way, and they definitley deserve the praise. thank you so much for the help.

I love Pei Wei but have grown weary of this location. Too often the soda machines are completely empty and the sticky floors and tables make it hard to relax. Lately they have it too cold and turn the music up too loud. I guess Ill have to concede to order take out and hope they dont start screwing up my order too bad (missing avocado on Poke bowl....)

The food is great here. If youre going to eat at Pei Wei, for sure join their rewards program. You rack up points quickly, which then are redeemed for free entrees! One of the menu/tvs is broken here and has been for more than a month. So if you see three screens when you walk in and only two are lit...grab a paper menu.

My family loves Pei-Wei, but this single location is the worst of any in the metroplex. The last three take-out orders have been wrong. Spicy food when I ordered sweet, or regular batter when I ordered gluten free. So I end up having to go out again to get food the family will eat. This one stinks.

Pei Wei is one of our favorite places to eat! The waitresses have always been friendly and our food always comes out fresh. Although I have tried many things, my favorite is definitely the Kung Pao Chicken! Lunch time can be very busy and there is not a lot of parking so be sure to get there early.

Came here with my family and had a lovely dinner. We got a bunch of different appetizers and shared them and it was spectacular. The flavors were great and some completely surprised us in a good way. The atmosphere was good and let us really enjoy a meal together with good food.

Very nice overall. Spicy means SPICY. Japanese steak and shrimp chile ramen was overcooked and very spicy, but great flavor. Gotta do something about the fruit flies by the tea. Everyone seems very professional, but not one smile on 7 employees.

Horrible service. Our to-go order "got lost" while we were standing there waiting for it to be made and nobody cared. Literally took 30 minutes for us to get our food. I like Pei Wei, but the hurst location will NEVER get my business again.

This Pei Wei is always quick with orders and has great service! Conveniently located near the Target shopping center and inexpensive entree options. Definitely eat here if you like fresh, healthy Asian food!

One of my favorite restaurants. Vegetarian friendly. I like to sit at the counter and watch the cooks. Delicious tea. Love the dumplings, hot and sour soup, and tofu pad Thai.

Poor service and too pricey for what the food is...not a good value. Potstickers burned abd noodles and chicken were tasteless. One in Colorado was good...this is not...

Great customer service. Friendly staff. Walked in 10 minutes before closing and were still willing to make our complicated order. Thank you to all the staff at Pei Wei

Food is good, but its always dirty. Cooks wear backwards caps and have ear buds in. Makes me wonder how clean the back is. We only go because its the only one near us.

Horrible location. Cook staff pointing customers out and laughing at them. Cashier was rude. This is the worst location of Pei Wei Ive ever been too.

This place cant seem to get your order right. Food is mediocre at best. Would advise going to another location until they fire the entire staff.

This is a great location easy to get to in the mid cities area that is right off the freeway. It is just what you would expect from a Pei Wei.
