I ordered the three meat dinner with pork ribs, sliced beef, hot links, beans, potato salad. The smoke ring visible in the ribs and beef was prominent. The ribs had just the right feel; you had to use your teeth to pull the meat off the bone. While I saw sauce on the table it would be a crime to use any on real pit BBQ of this quality. The sliced beef was tender but not so tender it fell apart on the plate. The hot links were a surprise to as the ones I have had in Washington State are usually too spicy hot to have much flavor, the links here had just the right mix of spices to be full of flavor. Everything had a great smoke flavor as all Pit BBQ should. The beans were good trail type beans, I personally would prefer they spent a little time in the smoker but they were nice. The potato salad was also good. If I can figure out how to post a photo of my diner I will. The portions were great and the price was in line or a little less than I would spend at home for a BBQ dinner. I would certainly say that if you are visiting Dallas it is well worth the drive to get BBQ of this quality.

DONT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME 4/20/2015 This is the most unprofessional establishment that I have ever experienced. I pull into their lot on my lunch break, because I was told they had good BBQ. Well I exit my car to several of their EMPLOYEES congregated in the parking lot......SMOKING MARAJUANA..... I figured hey okay its 420 I go in and place my order. I decide to sit at a table and someone has left information on a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER that works there. I got my food. And they NEVER EVER, EVER, EVER have to worry about getting any of my business. And the food wasnt really that good . Pork loin was past dry sausage tasted like the smoked sausage you buy from Krogers..... Mac n cheese tasted like it came from a box, yams or from a can. I could have had Dickeys or Spring Creek. Such a wasted trip and UNPROFESSIONAL. And they have a short red skinned lady that just walks around. DON"T EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME OR $$$$$$. I guess the whole place was celebrating 420. Disgrace.

Pot holes in parking lot that can cause damage to vehicle. Place needs a lot of work all of the way around starting with cleanliness. We stood in line which took way too long to place order and to be serve and while standing there overheard an employee asking for more tea. The employee refilling the tea picked the container up off of the floor from the same spot that another employee was sweeping. Very alarming! Not to mention the roof looks like it is caving in over the area they were cutting meat. Meat very dry, slow service, employees dont change gloves nor did I see a hand wash sink. Will never go the again and will let all of my friends know to inform them of this disaster. All staff needs to be retrained asap. Dont even want to give this place a 1 star rating

We came here on a review from a friend in the Fort Worth area. As far as atmosphere goes, this place is a 0 star. I was so disappointed when we pulled up that we almost went somewhere else. If we hadnt been driving for 10 hours, we would have gone elsewhere. They have "beef slices" they said it was like Brisket... I am still not sure if it was brisket... I ordered and the beef slices came to me lukewarm. It had a detectable smoke ring, and a good Smokey flavor.. But it was pretty dry. The bbq sauce was incredible(best thing about this place) perfect blend of spicy and sweet (not too sweet). Mac and cheese was great, and the peach cobbler was surprisingly good. Overall it was about the same as dickeys.. Just ok

You would think with all the positive feedback you read & it being in books listing the best BBQ it would be decent but let me tell you this has to be one of the worst BBQ Ive tasted. My husband got the rib basket with beans. The beans tasted like they were out if a can. Not too much flavor really plain & the ribs were so SO SO salty it was horrible! My husband never complains but he couldnt even finish. I got the potatoes that had all the meats and it was OK . They put too much hot link and not enough of the good meat. Brisket was really dry. Not worth 9$. The best thing there was the potatoe salad. Sorry but wont be a regular & I just moved to the area hoping I would.

The bbq here is absolutely the best! The meat is always tender, flavorful and smoked through and through. The sides taste like my grandmother made them-oh, so good! Peach cobbler? Go for it! The coleslaw is a refreshing change of taste with the addition pineapple. The sausage is specially made and Ive had to steal a piece from my son just to taste it. It is so addictive!! I have to drive across town to get this bbq, but its so worth it! Go forth and get some! No one else does bbq like "Off The Bone"! And dont look for a "trendy" crowd. This place attracts everyone who loves good bbq!

I ate there for the first time today and loved it. The only thing that I would have liked to see somewhat different is that I prefer my ribs to be somewhat moister; otherwise, the meal was great. The potato salad was the best I have eaten in my life. The corn on the cob was very good. And the sauce was excellent--just right. It is difficult to find great BBQ in the DFW area. I know of a couple other places, but they as far or further than this place was for me. One is in McKinney and the other in west Fort Worth. But Off the Bone is the best of the three.

Ticket #229, 6:00pm 12/29/2016 Very disappointed. Waited 5 days to enjoy your ribs after being sick without solid food. I got the RIB sandwich which tasted totally different from the flavor & tenderness Ive gotten in the past. Tasted baked & not hot. I usually eat without the sauce. But had to have it this time. Wondering if the place is under a different owners. The Hugh bun might have looked and tasted better if it had been toasted. Also ordered a Chicken sandwich on the same huge untoasted bun with very little chichen. What happened Off the Bone?

We visited the restaurant on Sat July 3,2010,I got a brisket plate and he got a rib plate. The brisket was not what i expected according to the D magazine, the ribs were good and tender. The sides were horrible, potatoe salad and pinto beans had no seasoning, the beans were really hard. Try adding some cilantro and onion, and fat back to them beans and you will get some good results.Potatoe salad needed a lot of stuff. I think the sausage shoppe still has the best potatoe salad and bbq very tasty.

This place is the gold standard for BBQ. The smoked sausage is one of the best I have ever had. And until I visited Off the Bone I did not think of smoking with peacon wood. Thier ribs are are fantastic either dry or with thier sauce. When I come to Fort Worth I always try to eat there at least twice. And one more thing, get there early to have some fantastic buttermilk pie. They will run out before dinner.
