I dont know what place all these other reviewers were eating at, but this place was terrible. The meat was so dry not even the watery BBQ sauce could help it. Maybe it was because my sandwich was 1 part meat and 4 parts bread. The smoked beans tasted like they use random sticks to give it the "smoked" flavor. Potatoes of any kind here are flavorless and I think the cheese they use on the Mac and cheese and "cheesey" potatoes is 5 day old Velveeta. NEVER going here again and I recommend you save your money and go someplace else.

Literally just paid 14$ for a brisket plate. Brisket is rubber. Green beans are okay but its hard to mess up green beans. I also got the cheesy potatoes that were basically a disgusting cheese soup that tasted like something you would get in a school cafeteria. And the roll has Italian herbs on it that do not go well with BBQ. And whoever said BIG servings is a liar. Worst "TX" BBQ I have ever had.

I had dinner with a group last night that was catered by Old House BBQ. WOW, it was fantastic. Some of the best tasting ribs ever. All of the food was great. We had ribs, chicken, brisket, sausage, beans, potato salad, cole slaw, and GREAT peach cobbler. I do not live near Old House BBQ, but will figure a way to get over there.

The quality of the food is great. Their free ice cream is the best soft serve Ive ever had. The portions are a bit small. I chose the 2 meat plate, which is $11.99. I picked ribs and brisket. I received 2 ribs and three small slices of brisket. The sides are good, but I shouldnt have to load up on them to get my moneys worth

It is real BBQ, smoke unlike some of the chains that use gas. I tried a 3 meat plate, Moist Brisket with bark, Chicken, and Ribs. I got neither moist or Bark Brisket plus it was extremely dry and fell apart. Ribs and Chicken tasty but a little dry. I wouldnt go out of my way but will do if I need a BBQ Fix.

Best darn BBQ in town? Not so much. Disappointed. Bland and tasteless. Brisket and sausage was to fatty, and the ribs was not as tender as they could be. It took a lot of BBQ sauce to make it taste good. I am not associated/affiliated with big jacks BBQ, but they do a heck of a better job than old house BBQ.

Very good quality meat with little to no New World Order laced concoctions. I stick to the green beans (with pieces of ham), and the jalapeno pinto beans as those 2 sides are non-GMO and made in house. The jalapeno sausage is to die for. They also have fresh grilled jalapenos in the condiment section.

Delicious and you dont have to wait in line a long time. However, they didnt bring us those delicious rolls until we had finished our meal. That would have been a nice touch. The peach cobbler was wonderful but a bit pricey for what you get. But overall I would return.

Great place! Wonderful service, great price for the amount of food (we got the regular family pack and had enough for 2 adults, 2 kids for lunch and dinner), and who doesnt like a free ice cream cone :) Definitely will be back .

very dry and prepackaged ribs, trying to pass off as slab of pork spare ribs,prepackaged and burnt, brisket very dry, and bbq sauce did not help, very little smoke flavor SAUCE terrible way to much vinegar sides 2 star at best

The brisket was a little dry, staff was distracted with chores. Maybe due to being 2:00 afternoon. But it was a good amount of food for the money. 2 meat plate, 2 sides, 2 very good homemade rolls, dessert and drink $10.00.

Food was bland and dry but the worst part was how dirty it appeared to be. 2 inches of crystallization hanging from soda fountain, u know that doesnt happen over nite! Definitely wont be coming back.

They are some of the best around. Great service always friendly. The pulled pork sandwiches seriously kick pork butt, its awesome "sauce" and all the fixins... yum yum!
