I have heard many good reviews if this place over the years so we were craving BBQ and decided to give it a try.. The outside is cute. It has an old style feel to it and who doesnt love the big metal pig by the road! The inside is really outdated and definitely needs some retouch.. There is wallpaper coming off the back walls and very old posters and such hanging about.. It really does need some help.. The decor aside.. The food is what matters right?. The staff explained in vague detail how their ordering process works. There are 2 options, you can order a plate with a certain number of meats and 2 sides. You are given a black plate for this.. Or you can order the buffet and of course have as much as you can eat.. With this option your given a white plate.( I would like to point out that when the buffet was explained only one side was pointed out.. We didnt know there was another side of the buffet available until we noticed other patrons coming in after us visit the opposite side of the line.) We took the buffet option bcs we wanted to taste a bit of everything! The meat was pretty good.. It wasnt the greatest Ive had but it wasnt bad by any means. The side dishes we had were not very good at all. The beans and the Cole slaw as well as the potatoes salad were left untouched after a bite from each of us. Im not very convinced that the side dishes are fresh cooked by any means.. Once we completed our meals ..we went from walking out of the restaurant to driving double the speed limit home!! It was a race to the restroom.. Please note.. We only live about 8 minutes from the place. So i am afraid to find out what had not one of us but both of us immediately in the restrooms!!! So overall regretfully (and unforgettably) I cannot give much of a recommendation here.

First of all, the people there are the BEST! Very nice to meet and greet. But that is where it stops! Next, treat yourself to a Buffet style dinner. Everyones hands grabbing the tongs and serving spoons that are falling into the pans...Just plain gross! Next everything tasted exactly the same, and very salty! Just no real taste on any of the entrees to brag about, it was all the same. I put a lot of weight on BBQ joints cole slaw, and this place has very bland! Potato salad, bland, Beans were ok with a lot of hot sauce, but still bland. Even the jalapenos were bland. Like eating a pickle. This joint was referred to us much like all of the other posts here, by someone that loves it. But I am here to tell you, other than the people being very nice, this place needs to change the sign to the"WORST ribs in the world" out front. I do not desire to be mean, but that place was terrible. I almost got sick when I got home. not to mention the sanitary condition of everything in there...YUCK! But God bless those nice people!

Went there for the first time last night and as soon as we sat down my 20 month of threw up everywhere. Its gross I get that. But the people working here were very rude about it. Me and my husband spent like 40 dollars and got two drinks. We never got our drinks we had to pretty much beg to take our food home. We hadnt even ate yet. My plate had throw up all over it so I went to fill up another one and the guy asked me what I was doing like I was stupid. They are so stingy with their food and honestly it was terrible chicken was dry ribs had no flavor brisket was like jerk the beans must of came out of a can like the rest of the sides.. I will never go back to this place again. They were very very rude! Not my fault my son got sick before we sat down. I wouldnt waste your time going to this place honestly.. all you can eat bbq is nice but you can go to much nicer places.. like cokers in arlington or railhead in Fort worth along with cousins.. try those before wasting time and gas at this place

Simply put: MMMMM Ive been coming here since the early 90s. Everyone knows my face. The ribs are wonderful. The sausage is amazing. The Brisket is tender and yummy, and my wife is absolutely addicted to the pulled pork. The sauce is some of the best Ive ever had. Ive celebrated 5 or 6 birthdays here over the years, and any time I have friends in from out of town, they want to come here. Its an all you can eat, BYOB joint with picnic tables and a big trashcan full of tea. Theyve run out of places to hang award plaques and put trophies, and on a friday, the line can go and go and go. Truly a hidden gem. Its even been featured on Food Networks "Best Thing I Ever Ate." But they missed the boat, because they focused on the brisket, when the ribs are the real star. (Or if you ask my wife, the pulled pork) Also, you can get meat by the 1/2 pound or pound to go. Good choice. A few pounds of Pulled Pork and/or Brisket is a good base for a family get together.

On Saturday, we went to dinner at North Main BBQ, in Euless, Texas. Theres a big pig statue in the front. They are open only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. When you enter the place, a nice smoke smell greets you. They have a great buffet. All you can eat for $15.00. Buffet consisting of ribs, pulled pork, brisket, sausage, chicken, potato salad, cole slaw and baked beans, and the rest of the fixings that you would expect at any family BBQ. And for drinks, sweetened & unsweetened tea from huge converted plastic trash cans with a pour-spout on the bottom. And for those that don’t like tea, they have a soda machine as well. For dessert, they have serve soft ice cream. The food is cooked perfectly. The employees there are sweet and friendly. They make you feel like you are family. Its almost like going to a family reunion. Their ribs have been voted best in the world, and I have to agree! They have been seen on Food Network and the Travel channel.

Im a fan of bbq so with that being said hard for a bbq place to score low in my book. Finally got to try this place out as it was a treat for me. My wife does not like bbq so I never really get it. Buffett for $17.99, sign me up. They had the meat, two types of sausage, sliced brisket, chicken, ribs, & chopped brisket. Sadly they only had 3 sides total, potato salad, cole slaw, and beans. Was Wishing for some Smoked Mac & Cheese. Only had white bread, no wheat. They had okra, pickles, onions, cheese on the bar. For someone who can eat some meat then the Buffett is for you. All the meat tasted good and allowed me to get my bbq fix. I prefer hard eight bbq in Coppell to this place though.

Very good first impression the younger guys at the serving line where very jovial and had fun going through the line joking and laughing. Oh and now for the food this is the place we go when we want all you can eat....pork ribs! SUB note...When I got home I had diarrhea. Since this is the only place I had ate all day.... thats where I got it from....Not good It WAS our favorite place to go...how has it changed?Do they even care? By the looks of the other reviews things must be going downhill... whats not packed like it should be on a Friday night. Oh well I guess Im on to explore other restaurants.
