I was visiting Floresville for a dinner meeting, and stumbled upon this place. I was definitely happy we decided to eat here. The food is very authentic to Jalisco style. The chips and salsa were great! Salsa was plenty spicy, and the chips were thick and seemed to be house made. Our meals were generous portions, more than we could finish, and were served with two additional salsas that were both fantastic! You cant beat these prices. I had enchiladas with rice and beans and my date had three crispy beef tacos with the same sides and a drink, and our total bill was $10! The service was friendly and helpful. The atmosphere and decor were nothing to write home about, but who cares! I would definitely eat here again.

This is our favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Floresville, although you could get an argument from others supporting Angelicas, Matas and Los Lagunas. Jaliscos is downtown on Court House Square, just across the street from Floresvilles peanut statue. A large selection of dishes ranging from crunchy tacos to more traditional tacos including carne guisada, lingua and tripas. Meals start at $5.99 (enchiladas queso) and top out at about $10.99, with most under 9. Nothing fancy, just large portions of comfort food. Fresh tortillas, corn or flour, hot and soft. A favorite for families and working folk.

I ordered the carne guisada plate and I must have gotten the childs version. It did not look like what was in the picture and it was a small quantity for $8.50. The picture definitely showed a larger portion of carne guisada and for $8.50 I expected to get more than I was served. Other than that the service was good and attentive and the chips and salsa are tasty.

Very rude and food wasnt good at all. I asked for well done meat (chicken, beef, and shrimp) and they brought back the chicken still somewhat pink. One of the servers (Rosa) brought the food with a bit of an attitude. Place was not authentic at all. I would not recommend it to anyone and would actually give it zero stars. HIGHLY unsatisfied.

We have been frequent diners at Jalisco since they opened in place of the"old pharmacy" downtown. I cant even remember when they moved to the current location -- we made the 1-block with em, and were still frequent diners. Weve also been ordering for take-out lately. Service is always fast, crew is smiling, food is hot and fresh-cooked...

Extremely rude waitress that always "almost and accidentally" either slams a drink/ down on the table or pushes it with such force that it almost slides off into my lap. Used to come here all the time for lunch too.

Great food on a budget. Quality was a bit better a few years ago, and they no longer smother the gorditas with sauce and cheese, but its still alright. BEST al pastor in town.
