Words do not describe the privileged experience when Niki is loving you with her talent, gifts, and soul. You experience every bite. Some dishes inspire reminiscing ones life experiences, yet others evoke imagination. Niki doesnt simply create food; each dish comes from within and she offers a part of herself in each preparation. Niki truly loves her ingredients, staff, and craft; when you participate in her meals, you will know she loves you too.

Now Ive been to this place in the past, and I love their food, but why do I have to wait 5 minutes to recieve a menu? And another 10-15 minutes to be waited on? I honestly did not feel welcomed at all when I walked in. I kind of just got a "hello" and a brush off, and a look as if I wasnt supposed to be there. Everyone has their different experiences, however mine wasnt so great. Im not so sure about their customer service.

It makes me sad whenever I come here for dinner and Im the only one in the restaurant. Because the food here is wonderful, the service is great, and the atmosphere is calm and professional. The other reviewers who sing the praises of the fried rice are not exaggerating. Hands down, the best Ive tasted in the metroplex. So give this place a try! You wont be sorry you did.

The environment is inviting and has several seating options to satisfy any group or individual. The staff is more than knowledgeable about the food and how it is eaten. It is not a cookie cutter establishment. The sushi is well made, appetizing and filling. The fried rice was not buffet quality. It truly felt homemade.

The fried rice is excellent and very cheap. The small order will fill you up, the large order must be solely to share or for leftovers. The sushi is okay, but prepared fresh, which is nice. Ive tried the bento box and I would say most of the stuff that comes on the bento box is just okay.

Fantastic little gem in downtown Dallas. High quality fish and very authentic. Couldnt get any better. I make sure to go here every time I visit the city on business. I can honestly say this place is on par with high end sushi restaurants in most other major cities in the States.

This place has the best sushi Ive ever had. The experience is wonderful and the staff are very friendly. I thoroughly enjoy every time I get to go to Sushiya and Im hoping that one day they will do online orders for carryout. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Dallas.

I skipped this place the first night in town b/c it looked questionable. I was so wrong! The last night in town I thought what the heck Im gonna try it. The sushi was wonderful. Very fresh tasting and the owners were great to provide such friendly service. Recommend!

This is my first time at Sushiya. Everyone there was very kind and courteous. We came looking for beef tataki and left with very full and happy bellys. We ordered the beef tataki, Kobe sushi combo, shrimp yakisoba, bulgogi bowl and green tea ice cream.

The service is terrible! Nobody would take the order or bring us water within 10 minutes every time we go there. Today is the worst! We waited for over 40 minutes and still didnt get our plates. We had to leave. Will never visit again!

Its not to notch sushi but good if youre stuck downtown and needing an escape from burgers and steaks. The place is Korean owned, and their dumpling soup reflects it. Best part of the meal!
