First time here, I had a Rainbow Roll (my goto at any sushi place) it was okay... Nothing to rave about. I was going to get my usual accomplice Chicken Fried Rice, but the waitress explained they didnt have it... (very confusing) so I opted for the Japanese Style Chicken Curry (this was the most confusing part since the ingredients in Chicken Curry are identical to Chicken Fried Rice: minus curry plus fried rice) I cant recommend the Japanese Style Curry if youve ever been to Japan (I lived there 6yrs). You will be sorely disappointed. I asked for extra EXTRA spicy curry (Im thinking CoCos #9) and either they assumed I was a typical weak-tongued American (despite my visible Japanese tattoos), or they dont have the spices necessary to quell my monster... On top of that, Japanese Style Curry it is not, watery and flavorless it is. Granted, this is probably not their most ordered meal, but I kind of got the feeling no one working there has ever actually been to Japan since good curry is probably one of the easiest meals to make. I give 4 stars since the Happy Hour deals on sushi are pretty cheap (like 6bucks for the rainbow roll, one of the more expensive rolls at most places), I should have just stuck to a bunch of sushi and I probably would have been happy. tl;dr get their sushi, not their curry

Sushi is fresh and delicious....if you dine in, however their delivery service was HORRIBLE! My dept ordered from here today (8 rolls and a Chicken Teriyaki bowl). First of all, they kept having to call me back (Ill call you back to take the order. Ill call you back to get the address. Ill call you back for the payment info). The whole ordering process took over an hour, I was beyond frustrated! Any time that I would call to check on the status, the guy that answered would hang up on me! When the food was FINALLY delivered (1.5 hours later & my bldg is literally 2 lights down) they messed up our order, the avocados had turned brown, my tempura was now soggy and to top it off they didnt bring us any condiments. This was the first time Ive ever used their delivery service and I NEVER will again. I feel like they should replace this order (pretty sure they wont) bc not a single one of my group was happy. When I called in to complain, I was once again hung up on. Shame on this place!

Great service.. polite people.. Tasty food, great portions BUT rolls fall apart, sometimes cant even pick them up. Secondly, and more importantly, I got "sick" f.p. How do I know? Ive been eating sushi for possibly 20 years. My stomach is a garbage disposal. I felt unsettled very shortly after the night of, and made many many stops in the restroom the following day with dehydration, and fatigue and stomach aches. I hardly ever get sick.. like not for 2 yrs by my last account. Maybe a fluke, but they lost my biz.. I had been a random patron since before they switched ownership. possibly have ate there a dozen times. This will be my ONLY review I have ever made.. Maybe not a deal breaker for some, but It left an impression. Leaving 2 stars, because I cannot 100% prove that this is why I was sick, but again my points above and how I currently feel all point to yes.. imo.

Zuki Japanese Bistro is a hidden gem in Richardson. There isnt too many places to find good sushi, especially in the Richardson area but Zuki is one of them. I happened to stumbled upon by accident yesterday and it was beyond exception. The place is small but made up for it with great service. The sushi was good quality and fresh, and the to-go order prices cant be beat. I recommend the pokebowl. You cant find a lot of places that can do poke justice but Zuki did! I will be back again. Great prices. Great staff. Great experience.

I love-love-love Zukis. Its a fantastic family-owned business. EVERYTHING is incredibly delicious...ALWAYS!!! The restaurant is always clean and neat, and service is impeccable! I love and respect the owners of this beautiful restaurant. They all bring joy to my heart every Saturday afternoon! Im a faithful patron on Saturdays after my workout & yoga class at LifeTime Fitness in Garland. You will be absolutely delighted with your overall experience, as well as the price!!!! Enjoy!!! ~Namaste :-)

I was looking for sushi by my job and saw the reviews here. Thought I would try it. The menu was great and the man that greeted me answered every question with a smile and was just greatful for my business. He went so far as to tell me about there happy hour specials and groupons. I brought my rolls back to the office and everyone wanted to know were I went. The food was phenominal!!!! I am certainly coming back for more and now my co workers are going to try them.

Everything we ordered was great. Yokohama, Firecracker, and Spider rolls were all very tasty. Beef teriyaki and chicken katsu were also great. Of course we had to try the monkey balls everyone talked about, those were also very delicious. Service was amazing, they really took care of us, totally went above and beyond our expectations. They are a small place that is very crowded, definitely a good sign that its got something everyone wants.

Really excellent sushi and friendly service. The chef makes some unique rolls you will get nowhere else in the metroplex. The Queen is one of my favorites. I eat here at least three times a week! I just tell my waitress what I am hungry for or just let her choose for me and I have never been disappointed. Very family atmosphere. Quick enough at lunch that I can make the drive order eat and get back to work on time. So glad I found them

Took my family here for Sushi and it was fantastic. It was the second time I have visited Zuki in the past 3 months and this was affirmation they are the real deal. Dont let the exterior off the strip center fool you or you will be the fool. The first thing you notice is the excellent service and attention to detail. Then you notice the food. The sushi rolls were above average and the price was excellent. This place rocks!!!

Good by Dallas standards? It was okay, perhaps even above average, but it seemed like a number of the items were microwaved, which was disappointing. Overall, the wait staff was very courteous and attentive and the venue seemed quite clean. Unfortunately, for a restaurant thats rated as +4.5 stars, I was expecting more authentic, better tasting Japanese food, but perhaps this is as good as it gets by Dallas standards.

This place is easily overlooked. However, their sushi is amazing! I love it. The Green Nemo roll is my favorite especially when it is hot out. No rice, wrapped with cucumber instead of seaweed and the ponzu sauce makes it perfect. It is also a great place for kids. My kids love the miso soup, yaki soba, and chicken yakitori. No matter what you order, it is fresh and delicious served by people who care.

This place is amazing! The people here are real! By that I mean real Asian chefs. They give you large portions of sushi unlike any place Ive seen before and the prices honestly arent that bad, especially for college students. The only problem Id say this place has is its televisions. If anything ditch the TVs and just play some traditional Japanese music. Other than that this restaurant is terrific!
