First time here and I havent been in such a fun, clean and delicious diner in...ever maybe? Cute storefront (looks like a small town, western shop) but inside its 50s diner and retro and yet still modern. The wait on a Sunday noon for 2 was a couple of minutes. The greeter, hostess and waitress were very fast and nice. The food came out in maybe 10 minutes. Loved the menu options, and cant wait to try most of them! I had the breakfast country fried steak with eggs and my husband had the french toast. They were all super delicious! My steak was well (pounded) and not greasy or stringy. Delicious eggs. The french toast was awesome. As an avid cook, I am sure they soaked the bread overnight (or at least think they did) to achieve that level of softness and flavor. CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!! Oh and prices were great!

Bad experience, Ordered a burger and fries. Arrived with a soggy wet lower bun and a broken half through top bun. Why do you serve a hamburger sitting in water which was running off the lettuce? The waiter (boy) was indifferent and preoccupied with laughing with the people sitting at the next table. With a soaked single napkin, I finally got his attention for a few more napkins. Poor service, tasteless burger served on a soaked unusable bun. Terrible waiters. Ate 1/2 with a knife and fork. Will not return, advise you not to also. $10.26 for this mess!!! :-(

My first time dining here. I had a few reservations going here because the menu seemed a little pricy. It was well worth it. I had the BLT - loads of bacon and the bread was like Texas Toast - very good! I also had a milkshake to go - I like that they have a mini size which was plenty big. I asked my server which one he would recommend (it was not one I would normally order) it was delish! I will definitely return!

To mingmay, I have been going to this restaurant for a couple of years and the service is always great along with the food. The management is very personable and would find it difficult to believe that they were at any way rude. The owner goes out of his way to make sure the service and quality of food is excellent. Awesome place to get a wonderful liver and onions!!

This is by far one of the best diners in the DFW area. I highly recommend the Texan pot and pan with the hash browns as substitution for the country potatoes and sunny side up eggs. Mix it up and add a touch of salt if needed and you got a great dish. Otherwise I have been enjoying this place for over 10 years and it never fails me when I need good diner food.

Wait to eat wasnt long, but the food wasnt worth any wait. Had the migas, which came out unevenly warm, made me think it was from the microwave or parts were just thrown together. Salsa came in a little container but didnt taste fresh. Overall I wasnt impressed by the food, the reason I went. Waitress was very nice, but it didnt make up for the dish

The Local Diner in Coppell makes all the traditional diner favorites, with specials for breakfast and lunch. A perfect addition to the downtown square - next to the farmers market - the menu is extensive. This time I chose the "lite bite" chicken salad on sliced tomatoes. Good to know they have gluten free bread and options as well.

I recently relocated to the area from Houston and stumbled upon this establishment during a walk around the neighborhood. The pot roast was good, the service was good, and the prices were very reasonable. I look forward to returning soon.

the manager is my mom and the owner is my grandpa. theyve owned the place for a while and they are pretty noobish to it. the food is horrible and it gets real old real quick. the waitressess arent the best and can easily mess your order up

This is above average breakfast food at rock bottom prices. My wife and I can get out of here for less than $15 total. The staff is always very friendly. None of the food is great, but its very good, cheap, fast, and friendly.

Local Diner is our favorite weekend breakfast/brunch spot. Wait staff is great, food is yummy, and wait usually isnt too bad. Check out the meat plate if you ate hungry or want a variety of food.
