This place sucks. Me and my husband ate here for the first time tonight and being that this was our first time, of course we ordered multiple items. The boiled shrimp are small and super soggy. Dont order The oysters are small and warm. Dont order. The baked potato is microwaved. Dont order. The green beans are canned. Dont order. The coleslaw was warm and sour. Dont order. The mashed potatoes are instant potatoes. Dont order. The crab cakes arent even crab cakes. Dont order. The frog legs are small and chewy. Dont order. The gravy is package gravy. Dont order. The mixed vegetables are drenched in butter or oil. They were horrible. Dont order. The shrimp brochette was super soggy. Dont order. The steak was over cooked, chewy, and tasteless. Dont order. The cheesecake was made from a box. Nothing special at all. Dont order. We liked the ranch, boudin balls, chef salad, and grilled shrimp salad. IN OTHER WORDS, WE WILL NOT BE RETURNING. Oh and the receipt isnt itemized. We were over charged $2.49, $2.00, and $1.99. Best of luck. Well stick to our Pappadeaux, Landrys, and Saltgrass

We havent been here for a few years, but this visit made us forever friends. We had daily specials of fried shrimp and fried shrimp/oysters. Servings were good, fries & salad ok, but wow, the fried shrimp & oysters! Seasoning (a chef secret) was perfect, batter just right, and not overcooked. I ordered the grilled veggies instead of fries: same seasoning, not overcooked, great variety of veggies. Service was friendly, helpful, prompt. A new go-to place.

Horrible meal!!!!The fried scallops were terrible!!! chewy, soggy batter and tasted like old oil was used. First and last time eating there. I cant imagine anyone giving this place a good review. McDonalds filet of fish tastes better than the fish at Baytown Seafood. The atmosphere is terrible, the service is bad and the food is Horrible. I am a retired chef, and believe me when I tell you....stay far away from Baytown Seafood!!!

Where do I start, so I stopped by this place to order a shrimp poboy that was my first mistake. I got my food and I start smelling a fishing smell, even when I begin eating same smell, so I called the restaurant and the manager said oh the shrimp are wild shrimp , it doesnt matter Ive eating wild shrimp and I never never smell wild shrimp have such a bad taste. I pray I dont get sick, never again!

The outside is not very appealing, but the food is awesome! Our service was friendly, fast, and with great attitude. The American shrimp were fresh. The 4 choice plater grilled was good. The salmon fabulous, not to mention the dirty rice. Last but not least the coconut shrimp was tasty and not to heavy. Would come back any time. Way better than red lobster...anyday!

Great seafood, we go for the fried catfish & fries, you get a lot more in a serving than at Vernons and it taste so much better. Thats where we were going until we discovered Baytown. Their po-boys and boudin balls are great too. They will make your fries extra, extra crispy if you ask.

Value Value Value.....No One : even double priced restaurants can out do this place on fried Catfish...and I Love their own version of Blue cheese dressing. Consistently good food every visit.

Great seafood, the shrimp is fresh, plump and delicious. The grilled snapper is excellent as well as a bargain. The service is very good and friendly. Lots to like at this restaurant!

Its a hole in the wall place and as long as youre getting something fried then youre safe... if you change anything or decide to try to go healthy youre taking a huge gamble...

Really good gumbo and the fried catfish and shrimp were cooked perfecly. The shrimp batter was seasoned well and the shrimp where plump and juicy.
