Ruined my Valentines Dinner with my family!!!!! Crabby daddys has or (had)... All You Can Eat Crab legs on Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m. So....because Valentines day fell on a Tuesday this year (2017), I called Crabby Daddys a week before Valentines Day to make reservations for our Valentines Dinner. I said " I would like to make reservations for the all you can eat crab legs next Tuesday for Valentines day" the woman said "you dont need to make a reservation maam" I said "are you sure? Its going to be Valentines Day and Im sure yall will be busy" she said "no, we will have a table for you" I said "okay. We will be there for the all you can eat crab, what time does that start?" She said "it starts at 7 and goes until 9 pm." I said "okay thank you, we will see yall on Tuesday". All week we were super excited to go to Crabby daddys and eat our crab we had been anticipating. Valentines Day came and we did not eat all day so we would be real hungry and eat a bunch of crab. We talked about it all day. So we get in the truck and head to the Woodlands around 7. We got there at 7:15 and the hostess greeted us and we told her how many in our group and that we were there for the all you can eat special. She then says "oh we dont do that anymore". I said "what? I just called last week and attempted to make a reservation and the girl on the phone was very confident that we would be able to enjoy the all you can eat and that we did not need a reservation that yall would for sure have a table" she said "well we dont have that special and we just found out a couple of days ago". So here we are, Valentines night 7:15 pm. Too late to call anywhere else and make a reservation. Every single place is super packed. We are bummed about no crab legs. I am angry because I felt like I was lied too. Everything was going downhill and the hostess did not even apologize for the inconvenience. Poor customer service on her behalf. Needless to say we didnt get to have a nice Valentines Dinner this year because the plans we made were based solely on the all you can eat special and we did not have a backup plan because their employee ensured us that everything was good to go!!!! Note to self: always have a plan B just in case. Thanks Crabby Daddys for ruining our Valentines. It wont be forgotten

If this were only MY opinion, I would give them 3-4 stars..unfortunately for them it was not just myself who came to eat last weekend & what my bf said about his food is the main the reason I am posting. HIGHLIGHTS: Live music, outdoor dining, my dinner (excluding drinks), & our waiter, Chase, was EXCELLENT - attentive w/o hovering & very nice - he should really be recognized. NEGATIVES: Price, esp for the quality of my bfs food & my drinks. It seems (interestingly, considering the seafood market RIGHT next door..) that the steak (& possibly the crawfish..we didnt order crawfish but it looked fresh when we walked by a table that had...) is the only real fresh meat that we experienced. I had the NY Sirloin w/sauteed green beans & roasted potatoes - it was PHENOMENAL - everything was fresh, cooked & seasoned perfectly. The only complaint I had with my order is the teeny cocktails. I usually only have Malibu & Sprite with dinner but I drank 2 before our meal arrived & 2 more with dinner b/c they were served in a whisky glass full of ice...& very little liquid. No water was poured or even offered, although I admit, I didnt ask...but at most restaurants they offer water or automatically place a pitcher on the table. For the price of this place ($100 bill for 2 ppl) ...they could at least give water. Now for the fun part...aside from the drinks debacle, our croc bites appetizer was barely so-so, I liked the breading/flavor, but the bites had been cooked from frozen...they were dry & rubbery, some completely inedible (the dogs enjoyed them...), & my bfs Cajun Tour consisted of WAY over-spiced red beans & rice & Jambalaya (hes FROM NOLA, so he can handle some heat, but he only ate about 1/2 his meal b/c of it...he thinks they tried to cover up sub-par food w/spice) & the crawfish etouffee was made using frozen crawfish (also rubbery/weird texture). Its too bad. We do go to New Orleans as he still has family there but its a long drive for a dinner out (sarcasm there...) & we were really hoping to find a good likeness somewhere closer to home. Alas, it seems if he wants truly fresh seafood, well have to just wait until our trips or make it at home. Just not worth the price for frozen food...

My mother-in-law took my wife and I to dinner and we decided on Crabby Daddys. I live only minutes away but we had never been. I thought it was a seafood market. It was a nice night so we decided to eat outside. There was a hint of cigarette smoke but it wasnt overbearing. For most it was probably indistinguishable since Im highly sensitive to smoke but wasnt bothered. There was a live New Orleans styled jazz band playing. I didnt catch their name but they were decent. Nothing to write home about. The band plays pretty loud so I wouldnt recommend sitting too close if you plan to converse much while eating. My wife ordered a pound of crawfish and loved them. She is from NOLA so she knows her crawfish. She said they dont add a ton of seasoning on top like you find at Pappadeauxs. Instead the flavor seemed to come from the water they were boiled in which permeates the whole bug and eliminates over seasoned spots. You only get one small potato and one small corn on the cob. My mother-in-law had the grilled catfish over red beans and rice . She had to send it back because it was luke warm when it got to our table. Even then she wasnt too impressed since she only ate half of it. I had the Tour which consists of red beans and rice, chicken and sausage jambalya, and crawfish etoufee. The taste was rather pedestrian and, like the band, nothing to write home about. My dish wasnt hot either but I didnt bother to send it back. The raspberry tea tasted store bought. The garlic bread and french loaf were good. The prices were what youd expect. The wait staff were professional and courteous. However, we never got our drinks refilled and were surprised to find a charge for my wifes extra butter sauce. My wife will be back for the crawfish, Ill go to keep her company.

The service was PATHETIC. They forgot one of the orders at our table and brought it halfway through the meal. Our drinks were not refilled for over half an hour while the table next to us received TWO rounds of drinks from the bar. My husband and I had to suck on ice while we ate our crawfish because we had no drinks. I ordered a frozen margarita and it came way later (AFTER the second round of drinks at the next table) and it was melted when I got it. We asked for a to-go box (for the food that arrived late) and never got it so that meal was left uneaten along with the margarita that was not touched. I had to go OUTSIDE to the hostess to ask her to find our waiter in order to request the check. Again, it took forever to get the check. I emailed the company on the "Contact Us" page. I got a rude, nasty response from the President of Crabby Daddys explaining I was interrupting time with his 5 year old son, there is a crawfish crisis and people in Switzerland are theives. ?!?!?! This apparently is why I received such poor customer service and next time I need to tell the owner, not him. The food, atmosphere and music were awesome however this place will not ever see another dime of my business and I am telling EVERYONE about my experience.
