The only reason they have "a" star is because of Melissa. Our omelette sat under a heart lamp so long it started to transform into a rubber substance. At this point the food was sent back and asked for a BLT and fries instead. This is an easy process for most, but apparently making toast, bacon and fries proves to be a culinary and intellectual nightmare for some. After ten minutes we were informed that this had not even been attempted yet. After food had to be sent back the cooks had not even attempted to make this right. The only individual that had any integrity in the situation was Melissa. I will be sure to inform everyone I know of my experience and just how downhill this establishment has gone.

The food was good. The service was friendly. The bad was restrooms were outside access(like a old gas station style) and had the cleaniness of a port-a-potty and where hot and humid in 90 degree Texas Heat. The hvac system was out for the building and they had only 2 window units barely keeping the dining area cool in 90 degree heat. We where sweating while eating. Ew. Invest in the hvac units, clean up the bathrooms (maybe even have access from the inside), clean up the roof leak stain ceiling tiles, repaint the hvac vents that where rusted, cover the fluorescent light fixture(health/safety hazard by bulb shatter) then this restaurant could be a good local diner and business will boom!

"Cozy," is not the word to describe this place. "Disgusting," is the first word that came to mind when I walked in. I am not exactly sure why I stayed other then the fact that I was really hungry. The waitress was very rude to me. There was no introduction and no manners what so ever. She just came up to me and said, "what do you want," very angrily. I am from here and I was not treated with southern hospitality. It took forever to get my food, and when it finally came I couldnt even eat it. It looked and smelled gross. I just got up and walked out, and went to Whataburger. At least I know I am getting real food there. I will never go back to D&M (disgusting meals) Diner.

Me and my wife cane in on Sunday 8-13-17 and the waitress was rude when we ordered our drinks and after seeing 2 people receive their food that came after us I asked the cook if he even started our food and he said the waitress forgot to turn our order in.The whole time we was there the waitress stayed on her phone and ignored her job duties.I asked to pay for our drinks so we could just leave and was told to wait.Not once was we apologized to and we will not be returning.We love country kitchen food and we was very disappointed we didnt get any.. Horrible service.Thwy need to not allow employees to be on phones at work.

I have eaten here numerous times and have definitely seen a change for the better. It is now nonsmoking and much cleaner. Breakfast is always good and crowded. There are daily plate specials as well as the regular menu. The fish on Friday is nice with a good tangy coleslaw. The BBQ is cooked on site by the manager. The service is typical diner and depends on the time of day. Yes the restrooms are outside and there are occasionally bugs in there, just dont eat them. Overall, a typical small town diner that serves decent food at a very reasonable price.

I guess youd have to be a local to accept the uncleanness or the fact that the bathrooms are outside with the doors open, allowing all the critters & bugs to enter, the nasty walls, floors & toilet, and the filthy baseboards, tables & chairs, and lets not forget the last straw, the one in which I got up & walked out on, the dead fly sandwiched between the menu. In which the server said without surprise when I questioned what it was, "oh, it looks like you have a dead fly".

I love barbeque and try it wherever I go. By sheer luck I passed through Cleveland hungry, so I stopped when I saw barbeque on the sign. Tell you what, these folks have outstanding sauce on their tender meats. I could not get enough of the flavor and texture. Im the last person to babble on and on, but I had to comment on one of the best barbeque places youll find anywhere.

This is a great Mom and Pop restaurant! The food is outstanding, the prices are reasonable, the atmosphere is down home country kitchen cooking!! The family and I like to make it a tradition every other Saturday to go eat breakfast there. The fact of the matter the whole menu is delicious.

Definitely a spot that the locals love! Their milkshakes are amazing and really cheap on Saturdays! Love the daily specials. Maddie is an awesome server, very attentive and always has a smile on her face. Its a great place to get an affordable family dinner.
