The food here was ok.. not good, certainly not great, but it was edible. The service was terrible. Uncaring, unthoughtful, untrained. I asked for creamers with my coffee.. they got tossed on the table from about a foot away.. not because the waiter was mad but because he had his head turned and was chatting with the other 5 people on staff that were all just standing around doing absolutely NOTHING. I ordered a waffle and eggs. Waffle was cold.. brought to the table, dry, with NO BUTTER. By the time the poorly trained server finally got back to the table with two small fake butter cups, the waffle was so cold it never melted the butter. The syrup was pulled directly from the refrigerator... cold again. I never got a glass of water to go with my coffee.. isnt this just standard? Then, you ask and still dont receive it... Our group of 3 received our food orders at different times. The other two people at my table had their food and were eating when the waiter finally brought my order to the table. He stood there, looking at our table and asked: "who had the waffle?" REALLY ??????? You MORON.. how about the ONLY person at the table with no food ????? There were many servers standing around doing nothing, there were very few customers there - more employees than customers... and service was horrible. The staff was laughing, talking loudly, a few screams and laughter broke out behind the counter and just a bunch of general horseplay. This is all lack of training and supervision by management. Somebody needs to pull their head out, train the staff and try to do a better job. I will NOT be going back.. and its a shame because there were some menu items that actually looked pretty good.

This place has been on my list for a while - basically every time I take the Dallas/Pierce exit, I think "oh yeah! I need to check out that place!" Well, I finally made it in. My plans for last Friday kind of fell through; so, I decided to hit this place up for dinner (at dinner time). The Foie Gras Smoked Jam Bruschetta was seriously amazing. Its just a little thing that easily makes a persons mouth water with delight! This was top rate! However, the Wild Boar Sausage and Pepperoni Pizza was a little bit of a letdown. The boar was great, but the pepperoni just struck me as prepackaged from Kroger. You know the Boars Head pepperoni that you pick up to go with cheddar and wheat thins...not exactly what I had anticipated:/ Also, a little let down by the Creme Brulee. The menu described it as being topped with fresh fruit. Im not sure that a strawberry on the side qualifies as "topped". All in all, neat spot with some pretty creative items on the menu. I guess a few short cuts had to be made in order to offer these items at $15 instead of $30. Ill come back certainly, but its nothing to get verklempt about.

I planed on meeting with some friends here and most of us who hadnt been here had a pretty hard time finding it due to lack of signs. When I actually got here, the signs on the door say "BYOW" rather than "District 7" which was a bit confusing. I ordered "focaccia" bread appetizer for "$4" (on the online menu, its listed as $3). When I got a look at it, it seemed like it was all items just bought and put together. The focaccia was not warm at all and the.. what I assume to be pesto was not appetizing at all. In the hopes that they couldnt over charge or mess up a simple order, I got the penne marinara. Plenty of pasta and a decent amount of chicken, though nothing special and for $9. The same "focaccia" bread (more like a tortilla cut into wedges) was served with about every plate. At the end, even with a large group, I was some how charged $20 for a $13 meal. Not enjoyable.

My wife loves it, my bosses and colleagues love it, everyone loves District 7 but I feel like Im the victim of an elaborate prank because I get a bad meal or ridiculously poor service every time I go to any of their location (except the pizzeria). Today, against my protestations, I went with a group. I ordered the lamb carbonara, as I expected it would be the lamb was great. Really delicious, but the pasta was like noodles in lukewarm milk, I had to take the lamb of the plate just to enjoy it. Another time, I picked up my burger and the whole thing just disintegrated in my hands and ended up in pieces on my plate, table and lap. I keep coming back but only because I seem to be the only one who thinks this restaurant is seriously overrated and they are taking the piss.

Always been wanting to try this place out, always heard it was a great place to eat..so I thought why not, BOY were my expectations set to high. Sitting on the patio was nice (weather was great) first waitress arrives takes drink order but never came back to take the order she didnt even bring through coffee, another waitress brought out the drinks, then it took another 17 minutes before anyone came to take a food order. Mind you it wasnt a busy morning, all in all service sucked, food was ok (Belgium waffle was more like an Ego waffle). Dont think Ill be recommending this place to anyone. Good luck and "May the odds forever be in your favor".

I would give this place four stars for food quality if they could work on their consistency. For example, we tried this one salmon pasta dish that was excellent; so the next time we went it was hard to believe that it was the same dish since it was so soupy and disgusting. We gave it another chance and it was excellent again but the 4th time it was nasty. Its so frustrating! The Kobe Burger has always been consistently good and we love the bring your own bottle option.

This place was awesome! The staff was very friendly and helpful in choosing something off of the menu. This was our first time in the place and my husband and I were very impressed! The food was very good and came out quickly. We were very impressed with how even though it was close to closing time the place was still packed and people were still coming in. The staff was friendly to each and every one of them also. Would definitely come here again when in the area!

Ive been here twice now and the best item was the artichoke dip. You must order it! It comes with fried pita bread. I ordered a beef muffuletta but forgot to ask for no olives so I got a plateful of olives in my burger. The burger and steak fries were ok. Other people in our group ordered the vegetarian pizza and really liked it. Overall its a nice diner with booths inside and lots of outdoor seating outside. Parking can get tight Friday/Saturday nights.

Solid, very solid. We have been wanting to try this place for a while, but always managed to forget about it. We finally had the opportunity to eat here a few weeks ago and really enjoyed it. The food was eclectic and had a unique flavor profile. Good service, interesting atmosphere. The only issue was that the AC was way too low on the night we went, but that is fairly common in restaurants.
