Should of went to Waffle House. Living in Houston for 30 plus year I have experienced the best and worst this city has to offer. Please trust me when I say this is the worst! From the moment you walk in you get the feeling that no one wants to be there. The waitresses seem almost ashamed of the food. Not once were we asked how the food was. Well let me tell you it was gross. I got a bacon and Swiss omelet with home fires and biscuits. The omelet was way over cooked and had absolutely no flavor, half the home fries were underdone some were even a little cold in the middle. The biscuits were obviously microwaved, rubbery and wet on the bottom from being defrosted in the microwave. My wife got scrambled eggs with sausage and bacon. Again no flavor from the eggs. The sausage was black on the outside and luck warm at best in the middle. I just hope that people visiting form out of state or over seas dont judge this great city and its wonderfully diverse cuisine by this poor excuse for a dinner.

so I got there at around 9 am on a Sunday, place was packed, there was multiple servers and a manager standing in the back, I waited by the please wait to be seated sign for several long minutes while they stood around, finally someone brings me to a booth, I ate the solidly mediocre buffet, went to pay and my card that there was nothing wrong with, kept declining, and was all I had to pay with. I called the card company, they said they were entering something wrong, nothing is wrong on their end. I gave up and had to run to an ATM, pay an ATM fee, told the manager he should refund me the atm fee off my meal since i had to go out of my way because he doesnt know how to use his credit card machine, he just stared blankly at me the entire time, gave no apologies, pissed me off to no end. I wont be going back, ever. Theres better places.

Let me tell you something about the "Hot Biscuit". Who is running this dog and pony show? The food is terrible. I knew it was going to be some funny business when the waitress asked me to check out the food first before choosing the buffet. The food looked steamed and gross. Everything about the biscuits soggy and wet look told me they were defrosted in the microwave. I wont judge Houston by this sorry excuse of a restaurant but everyone avoid this place at all costs. Unless you like to pay over 20 bucks for microwaved food. If I could leave no stars I would. Oh yeah and I threw up l after eating just one plate of this place. Never returning.

Take a trip through time back to 1978. The food isnt fancy, but its delicious and theres plenty of it! The staff is warm, the decor/building is dated and clean. This is all part of an experience that took me back to a time when it wasnt weird to want to be like Bruce Jenner. The music was a mixture of the "Old Country" music your grandparents listened to, with a dash of the "Outlaw Country" your folks listened to. I cant say enough about this place except I hope it never ever closes. MAGA

Food is great but some waitresses there have SERIOUS SMOKING ADDICTION. One usually goes out to smoke at least twice during time it takes me to eat my food. Then she cant take hers eyes off cell phone long enough to be my waitress. When not texting shes at table talking on phone. 5star breakfast buffet at good price. 3star waitress who really needs some Nicorette. Many other options as well for breakfast, lunch or dinner, nice waitresses, very close to Bush Iah. Try the eggchilladas!

My daughter and I recently relocated here to Houston from California. Considering there are plently of eateries to choose from, this one isnt that bad. For whatever reason, every time we go there is barely anyone in there. The menu has a nice variety of tasty food selections and is quite reasonable. The waitresses are friendly and efficient. My only problems are it isnt the most pleasant looking and I didnt like the waitress sweeping the floor while we were sitting there eating!

For a place that has biscuit in the name, they seem to totally fail at making them. It seems they specialize in making classic American diner food and totally bombing in the execution process. Im shocked that there are actually 5 stars ratings here. If you ask me, they dont deserve to be in business. Id actually love to try something there that taste good, but unfortunately, from the looks of things, there may not be.

My husband raved about how good the food was when he ate there a few years. I was not impressed at all. The eggs were good but the sausage was over cooked and the French Toast old and hard. They put out fresh food so I went thinking OK fresh food itll be better, sadly it wasnt . They precook too much food I think , then let it sit in a warmer .The selection of food was small as well, I wont be returning .

I ate at this place two days in a row. The food is good but the waitress I had the first day was so so rude. She obviously does not like black people. The second day I went I had a different waitress who was completely opposite of the first one. She was nice and helpful. I am giving two stars because of the second waitress and the food. Without her I would give negative stars if possible.

This diner is transient.... Meaning that they serve knowing that most customers are from out of town and not coming back. The food had no seasoning and was overall not very tasty. The waitress was nice but that was it. I was extremely disappointed and would never in life go back..... I mean even the sandwich I got to go to snack on later was bad.... How do you mess up a sandwich?????

The wait staff was great. As well as the food. Specifically there was a waitress, who I loved. I actually gave her all of our things we used while in TX as we were on vacation, and we couldnt take it with us. Please let her know I said HELLO!!! She is a thin taller lady, I know she has several kids and a great personality. I hope her kids enjoyed the city pass.

My family reunion was in Houston during the weekend, and this was across the street from our hotel. We didnt want to keep paying for an expensive breakfast so we came here for breakfast and dinner. Both inexpensive, quick, salad/bar option was a good touch, and the service was great during the times we came: After 9am on Saturday, and after 7pm on Sunday.Thank you!

This morning I got a breakfast, and the potatoes were COLD and not fresh it tasted like two day old potatoes. The biscuits were cold too.I told the waiter, and she bringing me potatoes hot but berry dry, she told me let me put them in the microwave!! Jajajaja. And the cooks were very load scrimping at each other like if they were stalling food at the pulga.

The food was beyond unimpressive, from the white squares of "swiss cheese" to the obviously old mashed potatoes. Everything had a funny smell. Our server walked past us 3 times before we went to the register, and since that took forever as well, we threw enough cash to cover the bill and walked out. Also, you can expect cold biscuits from the hot biscuit.
