2 weeks ago I ordered 9 pizzas for my sons birthday party. I picked them up at Saturday evening around 6:30 pm, the person who handed me the pizza was a gentle man. When we started having dinner around 7 pm, we noticed there are 2 boxed of them almost totally got burned, the other sides of pizza were total black, and most of these 2 pizza surface were also black, no one ate one bite of them. I took the pictures of such pizzas. Some guests suggested me to bring them back for exchanging or rain check in the future, I though it is a good idea. I was not able to do that in that time due to I was too busy to manage the party activities. Due to the bad qualify of the 2 pizzas, we didnt get enough food for the guests, I had to use other snacks to substitute the food. When all the guests were gone, it was around 8:30 pm, I drove back to the lakeside Pizza & Grill along with the burned pizzas. The same gentle man talked to me, seems that he was also the waiter there to server in the bar. When I told him what happened and shown him the pizza, he suddenly became very unhappy and very rude, he insisted that the manager was not there, he can not do any thing, then he said they can ask the kitchen to cook me a new one. I said it was after dinner, we didnt want to bring a pizza home and wait to tomorrow to eat it, the taste is not good by then, I asked if it is ok to give us a new one tomorrow instead of now, he said no, the way he talked to me was so rude, it just made me feel that i should be guilty of bringing back the burned pizzas. When some other guest came to ask him to get a beer he became very happy , maybe he can earn tips from them , but not from me. I felt so bad then I left without saying any thing. This place not only the food is expensive but also the customer service is poor. I will never go back to that place again and I will also tell my neighbor and friends what happened to me and ask them to check pizza each time if they order from this place.

Would give it a zero if I could. showed up with kids in tow. Numerous open tables, but told we would have to wait. OK, no big deal. Went to bar for drink. Plenty of space available at bar to order and stand, so we stood. Kids still in tow. After about 10 minutes of not even being acknowledged by the bar staff, asked hostess for help. No such luck. Bartender finally asked us what we wanted, and we ordered and waited. Bartender came back 5 minutes later (after taking other orders and serving other patrons) and said he forgot what we ordered and asked us again (two bears, and a Sprite, nothing difficult). I noticed several 4-tops still vacant. I then asked to speak to the Manager. I was told by the bartender that he was "too busy to speak to me". I asked if that meant he was there, and was told "yea, but hes in the back and hes not going to talk to you..." He went on to say that he "has been here since day 1 and can handle any comment or complaint"...when I said asked how he would handle a complaint that might be directed to him, he had no answer. We paid our tab and left. One prior experience here was also strained, although nothing like this. Overall, just an OK menu with overall bland food (but pizza OK and the only pizza option walking distance for us). Convenient for SR residents, which is the reason we stopped in (Saturday, 4.30p). However, the landscape is quickly changing with many more choices now available at Quinlan Crossing and near Cho. I suspect Lakeside will need to work on its customer service and food quality if it is to survive. Avoid it if you can, you will be treated like they could care less about you and will be served average to below average food -

Ordered a couple of burgers and some calamari with macaroni and cheese for the kids. Burgers were cold calamari was like rubber and mac and cheese was uneatable. I phoned to let them no how dissatisfied we were and the person who answered the phone was apologetic and said they would return my money, not being someone who was looking for a free meal I told them to put it on account the lady assured me this was not a problem and she would inform the manager. So why this review you ask, well I just called up there to order some food and the man who answered the phone was extremely rude I explained the situation and his response was so you just want me to give you this for free. I explained that all I wanted was to use the credit I had been promised , his response was belligerent so I asked to speak with the manager. I was put on hold for a few minutes to be told that the manager was too busy so I told them I would just go by there and talk to them in person. When I arrived I was told that the manager was not there after all I explained the situation once more to the bartender who was condescending in his response saying he had used the system for years and there was no where to write notes and told me I could always come back in the morning and speak to the manager. Rather than trying to please a disgruntled customer his attitude was he didnt care. I wont be back they can keep the credit and this is one customer they have lost forever. The owners of this place should consider replacing the staff there are too many reviews complaining about the customer service and how people have been treated badly.

We have enjoyed Lakeside several times moving to Steiner. My kids & I have enjoyed their pizzas; in particular the GF ones for my daughter & I. No reactions so far, even with possible cross contamination from flour dust. The happy hour is great for my husband & I to discuss business while the kids are at tutoring. After giving the bartender the go ahead to create his own concoction, after my inability to make a decision; he blew me away with an incredible version of a grapefruit mule! Ginger beer & Deep Eddy Grapefruit! Delicious! We will continue to order here as long as any reactions remain non-existent. Also, they have a poker tournament that get together on Mondays. No cash buy in;) The hubs came home with the winner winner gift card dinner! Lol.

We absolutely love Lakeside Pizza & Grill! We live in Steiner Ranch and are truly lucky to have such a great Italian-American restaurant so close to home. The hot wings are our favorite appetizer, and we enjoy watching sporting events while ordering beer and wine from bar. Our favorite thing to do is spend the day swimming at one of the beautiful pools in Steiner Ranch, and order a pool side pizza from Lakeside Pizza. The food is always delicious, always served right, and the delivery time is usually less than 30 minutes. The wait staff takes great care of us each time we visit, greeting us with a smile, and serving delicious food and drinks without ever having to wait. We love you Lakeside Pizza!
