I would have given one star, but in the past they were amazing. I havent had their pizza in about two years and was ecstatic to eat some on a rainy day. Upon calling, I ordered a large steak pizza add Gorgonzola- wasnt a problem to add onto a especially pizza. After all, I am paying extra for the toppings. then asked for a medium white pizza with shrimp instead of chicken or sausage. The response was "we cant put shrimp on it". I said, "You cant put that topping on instead of chicken and Ill pay for it?" Still no. Ok, not that big of a deal. Except when we get home, we start eating the steak pizza. I immediately realize an off flavor. I pick a piece of steak off and realize it taste sour and pretty close to rancid. That was a large $17 pizza, ruined. I am so disappointed with the service and the food. What a bummer.

this is my favorite thin crust pizza in austin @ this time, its the only pizza ive had here so far but its one of the best ive had over the years. i first got to try it when the place was set up outside in the parking lot in a trailer, and you could sit outside on some lawn chairs in the evening! that was nice. anyway the setup inside the gas station is fine, even though its a gas station, dont let that deter you! this station has a really good selection of hard to find beers, besides the usual domestic beers on a separate isle, and there is also a good selection of wine. getting pizza by the slice is good as the slices are very BIG, the price is good, the owner is very nice.

Just oredered pasta and it is sooo yummy. I think it was the penne arrabbiatta (i just asked the owner what his favorite pasta was and ordered it). Cant wait to go back and try more pastas and the pizza. Reasonably priced, made to order but still quick service, and very friendly owners! I love when I find places like this - getting delicious food, great service, and supporting local businesses, too!

This place isnt any good. Not sure why the good ratings. Cheap ingredients, flat(not thin, flat) crust, and flavorless overpriced pizza. Crust too hard to chew. Mine was overcooked and small for a $13 large. Lady at pick up window did not acknowledge me. Had to get attention of cook in the back. Very disappointed.

Its in the same realm as the best pizzas in Austin and Its so much cheaper compared to the competition. It might not be the best pizza you have ever had if you have been across the country, but if you are in the south lamar area, you cant do better. And probably the best pizza for you money in all of Austin

Another place I just do not get the hype about. We live across the street so it took no time to go pick up our order, a pizza and a pasta dish, and the pizza was already really soggy by the time we got home. The pasta dish tasted old, like it was leftover from previous days or something.

I realize once you read “pizza from convenience store” finding the appeal if difficult. Do it anyways, these guys are hard-working quality fanatics. I dont repeat my take-out places often, this one I do, even being a little out of the way for me. All their pies are great.

My Neighbors on Nextdoor have been raving about this place. So we decided to stop and get a pizza tonight! WOW, I thought I was in love with Home Slice - I have a new love now!!! This place rocks the world of Pizzas! Thank you Jose for great service and great pizza!

Damn that was some REALLY good pizza!!! I too was a little worried about it being in a gas station but some friends suggested it and I am happy I tried it!! I am born and raised in Chicago so I have high standards!! Best pizza in Austin! And very friendly!

The pizzas are great, the soups are better. The guy who answers the phone and takes orders needs to smile and work on his customer service. Im not talking about chef Julio, he is friendly and always cheery.

Consistently great pizza. From back when they were a food trailer in the parking lot of a closed up gas station to their present incarnation. Giovannis is THE reason I choose Valero over 7 Eleven every time.

Was a bit skeptic of pizza being cooked in a gas station, but was pleasantly surprised that it was the best pizza Ive had in Austin. Its also pretty cheap. Highly recommend stopping in and grabbing a pizza.

The pizza is good, but I come here for the pasta and the breakfast tacos! Both are awesome. This is one of the few places Ive found that stocks baby spinach for breakfast tacos (which is delicious).

These guys have the best pizza in austin. Hands down. Dont listen to the hipsters! I know since its in a gas station most people would turn away but its actually amazing, clean, and quick.

Giovanni was extremely friendly on the phone with me and helped me cultivate the perfect pizza. Margharita with chicken and spinach added. It was beyond delicious. I will return

$3.50 for a slice of HEAVEN. This is what unicorns and rainbows would taste like if they were a pizza. I will say the gas station is kind of sketchy and wayyyy over priced.

Best pizza in town. Hard to find though, so make sure you know its in the back of a convenience store.
