we stopped in on our way home from the austin pow wow, in a 92 jeep renegade we are working to restore. i dont know if we stepped in something before walking in...i dont think so... but the little girl behind the counter (the only one) treated my fiance very badly. my fiance ordered the vietnamese coffee or something, supposed to be made with sweetened, condensed milk, and was made with regular milk instead. unfortunately, my fiance had been in a few times prior and knew how it had been made in the past, and was very upset and disappointed by the treatment and quality of the drink, and we left without finishing our order. i might add that my fiance is latino/indian, while i am white...it is my strong impression that the episode was colored by racism. i certainly will not be going back. maybe it was my i support the austin pow wow sticker on my shirt....

Got turned away twice. First visit I asked for something that was apparently on the kids item. "Sorry sir you cant have that, youre not a kid." Ok no problem, I said Im happy to pay adult price or double or whatever they wanted. I really wanted a grilled cheese, I was so desperate for one I was looking for a kid to buy it for just to ask for a bite. I was ready to pay $20 for one. I even joked around and said I have a kid in the car I was getting it for and I got a cold stare back. My next visit I asked for a smoothie and she said sorry we close in 13 minutes I cant make that. I asked why if they were still open. She replied that she already washed the blender. Geez, why is it so hard to get anything from this place?

Worst breakfast taco ever. Ordered a potato, egg, cheese. Not fresh. Potatoes were frozen hash brown put in water to defrost. Taco was assembled and put in a sandwich grill press. Servers forgot about me. Crunchy taco was served with tortilla brown and hard. Potatoes were raw - they were not cooked. Rancid taste of the tortilla clear indication that the sandwich press does not get cleaned - it was a rancid cooking oil taste.

This is one of Austins best kept secrets! Come to this lovely Austin Java and sit on the back patio on a beautiful day and enjoy the FABULOUS view of the hill country. I love to study here as well. There are couches, along with tables and chairs. This location doesnt have as much variety as a full size Austin Java but they have the basics covered. The gas station attached to it is also very nice.

Not as nice as the other ones. Sandwiches are premade to take to go. Pastries are wrapped in plastic and look old. Not very many tables to sit down. Full drink menu but I wouldnt recommend coming here for food, nothing looks fresh. Inside a gas station so good for grabbing something to go. Small section but drive through available as well.

This place is very disappointing... I hate giving bad reviews. I love Austin Java in general, but this place just falls short. It has an amazing view, it has a great patio but its always dirty, flies all over the pastries inside the display and the bathroom... Ill stop there. No Bueno!

Basically gas station quality food, dirty tables, small selection, bland tacos and rotting fruit cup. Austin Java should strongly consider dropping this location or upgrading. It does not belong in the AJ family. We will never be coming back.

This place is good! Cherish the fun feel and great coffees here. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Great place if you want to avoid Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts.

they stopped serving breakfast at 11. ordered an iced coffee drink, its pretty good. the patio has a nice view, makes it feel like youre not at a gas station.

Coffee wise fine. But compared to other Austin Java locations eh kind of crap. But unreal view on a good day and great outdoor seating.
