Im currently sitting in La Tazza Fresca, thoroughly disappointed. I ordered a turkey melt and a latte at 4:24pm. I received my latte soon after, but didnt get my sandwich until 5:10pm. 50 mins for a toasted sandwich? I really try to not let things like this bother me. I am not a person who complains much about service, much less writes scathing reviews, but the barista currently working sat and chatted with a young lady at the counter for over 15 mins. All the while, I assumed my sandwich was being made. When I approached the counter after 30 mins had passed, he finally put gloves on and started my sandwich. I found it pointless to ask why it was taking so long. When I finally did receive my sandwith, it was piled high with greens and two, yes 2, slices of turkey. The friend I had met for a coffee earlier in the day had a heaping amount of turkey on his sandwich. I dont know what I did to the barista to receive such poor service, but I still tipped him 20%. I hope the next customer receives better service and an actual sandwich. Bummer!

I love this place because of the great vibe, varied menu items, and friendly service. Its the kind of coffee shop where you can post up and read, study, or get work done, making it popular among UT students. Because of that, it can get busy around midterms. The menu has a big variety of drinks and food. They offer coffee, lattes, teas, and smoothies. The food menu includes fresh made sandwiches and pizza and a wide selection of pastries and desserts. Try the pecan pie with some ice cream! The service is quick and friendly. I can be picky and like to customize my order with almond milk or extra flavors and this is never a problem. I even got a custom chocolate banana peanut butter smoothie once and it was amazing. La Tazza Fresca is also open until midnight every night, so its the perfect place to fulfill your late night food cravings, stay caffeinated through a long night of studying, or just grab a hot cup of tea and read a book.

Ive been going to Tazza Fresca for a pretty long time and just never bothered to write a review until now. The coffee is always awesome, but youd probably expect nothing less, so what makes it actually great? The employees are the top of the list for me. Always super friendly and helpful. I once accidentally spilled my coffee all over one of the tables outside, and they cleaned it up AND made me another coffee for free. The food also is surprisingly good. Often when you eat a sandwich at a small coffee shop you get one of those little things that looks like they just picked it up pre-packaged at a convenient store, but at Tazza Fresca the sandwiches are piled high and served with tomato soup, all made in house. I always have an all around great experience here.

Ive been coming to La Tazza Fresca for years, and left a 5-star review for them ages ago. Thankfully, theyve only gotten better. Their iced chai is still the best in Austin, and their cafe mocha is easily worth driving from Pflugerville for. Im not sure what sort of wand-waving is going on behind the counter, but Im grateful theyre doing it! To put it in perspective - when my daughter comes home from college in Massachusetts she arranges her flight in so we can stop at La Tazza Fresca on the way home from the airport. Its the ideal quiet and perfectly Austin spot for us to stop, rest, and simply enjoy each other.

This place is a little hidden gem. I would always drive past this place and want to give it a try. One day, I finally did. It took me awhile to figure out where the entrance was, but once I did, I was in heaven. Its a nice relaxing coffee shop. Every time Ive gone, theres been a place to sit. The music is also very mellow and doesnt distract you from what youre doing. I would recommend that they get more baristas. The lines can get pretty long and the wait gets a little crazy when theres only one barista available to fill everyones orders. I fully intend to go to this location again.

One of my favorite coffee places in town from my undergrad years at UT. Its a lively cafe thats always hopping and has that Austin feel down to a T. Parking is ridiculous in the area though, since its tucked in just next to a Groovy Lube. Indoor seating is plentiful although sometimes it can get pretty packed. Their coffee is good, has a small food/desserts section that isnt half bad either for a place of its size. I noticed in my last visit they have a bunch of new wine glasses and cups that are stainless steel. Quite interesting and quirky.

Nice little coffee shop with very relaxing decor and a nice choice of background music, very easy too loose yourself for a few hours, when i was there the service was very friendly and attentive though a bit slow parking is minimal had to park in the street, as far as the drinks, the chai and the house blend drip were exceptional possibly the best Ive ever had. they have a extensive drinkfood menu with a large selection of sandwiches and other munchies, they all look very tasty though Ive yet to try any of it.

My favorite coffee shop in Austin. Best cannoli ive ever had (but hey Ive never been to Italy). Their coffee is freshly ground with cinnamon I think, then brewed. My usual drink is the chocolate vanilla coffee and the dirty chai latte. Baristas are always very attentive and friendly, the owner is very considerate and Ive seen her pull out an extension cord for a customer when she saw that her laptop cord wasnt long enough.

Ill admit I wasnt sure what to expect on my first time visit, but everything was fantastic. The prices were very fair; the coffee expertly brewed. I did not partake of anything edible (although I wanted to). Bathrooms were clean. Hookahs are available as well (only outside on the patio). Quaint & peaceful atmosphere inside, perfect for studying or just quietly chatting.

The coffee shop feels like an eccletic hole in the wall. The tables are all randomly shaped and the cups the coffee is served in are all different. The pastry counter is full of various tasty treats. The shop is extemely convenient if you are getting your oil changed or car inspected next door at Groovy Auto. I enjoyed stopping in, and plan to come back.

Tons of outlets/power strips if you need a coffee shop to work at. The tables fill up fast though. Their coffee is pretty good but be prepared for a bit of wait--theres often only one person working the counter. I like to hang out here while waiting for an oil change at Groovy next door or before taking a stroll to see the 37th St. lights.

Best coffee shop in Austin. As you enter through the front door youre instantly welcomed by the mellow ambiance and fun atmosphere with soothing music from the Gatsby era it instantly feels like youre transported back in time to the Roaring 20s. They have many different lattes and their Soy Chai Latte is to die for. Definitely recommend,

Cool little place on Guad with eclectic style and a warm atmosphere. They play good music and have a nice staff. The iced coffee is spiced with cinnamon, clove, and cardamom, which caught me off-guard at first, but I ended up really liking it. Id go back to try other drinks and some of their food options too.
