I want to say this is my second time eating at this restaurant. My first experience at this buffet was okay because me and my family of 5 were sat down by the waitress in a very small table. The issue was that the table was so close by another familys table (almost 10 inches away) Really? From the outside it may look like a big restaurant, but really? Sitting down 6 people in one small table next to another family we dont know is very uncomfortable. I understand this restaurant gets very crowded but I wished they sat us down in a bigger table. Besides that the food was not very impressing. I was dissapointed with my family as soon as we walked out that door. My second experience was today when I decided to get take out after a long day of work. The waitress told me it was $5 for 5 pounds of food. Good deal. Got around that much weight and when I went upfront the cashier said the total was $16.09. SIXTEEN DOLLARS FOR LESS THAN 5 POUNDS? ARE YOU SERIOUS??!? I knew I couldnt say no and put back the food and would be forced to pay for it but I know I will never eat here again! Save your money! Besides that there was a customer who came by next to me and heard him complain to the cashier that there were kids running around with the food in their hands and putting it back were the food serving is. Really?!? Your employees need to watch the food because I will not eat food touched by random peoples hands. Your food is truly disgusting and cold so I do not think the people putting back the food with their hands makes it any more worse. I am very dissapointed with this restaurant. The restaurant looks nice but customer service is rude, food is nasty and its EXPENSIVE!! If you want good quality chinese buffet go to "A1 Super Buffet" their food is inexpensive, good and they do not weight the take out food unlike this restaurant.

Just opened, so the place was very clean and shiny. Price was good at 9.99 per person. Items could have been more varied, I found the selection to be no better than most of the buffets Ive been to. The chicken and beef dishes were bland with a spice that seemed to be used throughout many of the dishes that I did not care for. The beef on the mongolian grill items was tough round steak and made my mongolian plate rather inedible. Chicken on a stick was dry and tough and greasy inside. The eggrolls had to be the worst Ive had, you could squeeze the grease out of them, mushy, not crispy and light. The sushi was about on par and kept very cold and fresh, the wasabi nice and spicy. The lo mein noodles were a funky orange color with very little veg in them and that same tongue tiring spice. Orange chicken was too sweet and had a doughy crust. I felt the teriyaki was non-existent in the teriyaki chicken. Saving grace was the broccoli chicken, tender chicken, well cooked broccoli, but a little bland. Iced tea was a dark, murky brown, not a nice clear tea. This is the southwest, good iced tea should be a given, not a surprise. Note: best iced tea in town, The Cracker Barrel, I slam four to five glasses of their tea, a beautiful, clear orange pekoe. Soft serve as one commenter mentioned was good, damn cold too, lol. I dont know about friendly wait staff, our wait staff moved and looked like they just walked off the set of a zombie movie, indifferent. China Harbor on South Cooper has much better fare, better wait staff, wider selection and is always crowded, that should have been a tip off when we pulled into the parking lot at Asian Buffet. Not too many cars in the lot. They need to step it up a notch, I felt like I was being served leftovers from the lunch service.

We came in with high hopes, but left with food poisoning and hunger pains. As me and 2 friends started off we began to try abit of everything. Only in horror to take one bite and viciously vomit it from our mouths. We called the waitress over to ask questions "is this done? is this supposed to have shells chopped up in it? Why doesnt taste like anything?" and she just said "well I like it. Its supposed to taste like that" So we continued until there was nothing left.. the white rice helped our stomachs abit when suddenly my friend alex booked it to the restroom to hork up his dessert. For some reason it was cake but it had raw eggs in it. We told the waitress how dangerous it was and she told us it was normal. We said we are leaving hungry and sick and we dont want to pay, so she came with her supervisor and saw we hadnt eaten much but a bite of almost everything and a stack of food sitting at our table. But she forced us to pay or she would call the police. Either way I was asked to come back by another friend he even offerd to pay, I wouldnt be payed to be treated like that again.

the place place does well in providing a good ambient place when i go with my family. the grill that they have is somewhat similar to the Genghis grill with a reduced variety, that is what my parent love the most about the place. Obviously germs are everywhere and taking precautionary measure such as washing your hands before you eat right after you finish serving yourself is good. The food is good. i have not suffered from food poisoning neither has my family. I think it does so well that we drive from Dallas to eat there. I have yet to have any bad experiences there and until then I will keep going. -dont compare the restaurant with places try to keep it apple to apple and oranges to oranges if you do

My father and I have been visiting here since they opened. The food has always been good with a large selection. The Mongolian grill is our favorite, with a number of meat selections and enough veggie choices to make a great plate. They also have your choice of about 20 spices to season just like you want it, then turn it over to the cook and he frys it up for you. They have deserts but we are always to full to try any, but they look good. The sushi has always been good, the wasabi looks a little rough sometimes but tastes good with it. I would highly recommend stopping by for lunch or dinner.

FOOD POISONING ALERT! I paid $60 for my family of 4 so that 24 hours later I could violently throw up 10 times so much I broke blood vessels in my eyeball. That doesnt include montezumas revenge. Thank GOD I was the only one who ate the sushi and crab legs. I will never eat here again! WARNING TO ALL!!! Not to mention the waitress poured water on us, our table was broken and the tables were so close to each other you couldnt move around them. Dirty bathrooms...I should have known better. BUYER BEWARE! I called the health inspector.

This place is overrated. I dont have high expectations for Chinese buffets because they are often unclean and crowded with people greedily stuffing their plates with lower quality food. This place was really no different; I will say that their sushi is slightly better than most buffets, but nowhere near a great sushi place. Unfortunately, the rest of the food - especially the Mongolian grill was not very good and the bathrooms were hideous! For the price you pay, there are better buffets elsewhere. I probably wont go back.
