Not exactly sure why someone said this Chinese food....China is just 1 country out of many in Asia, so...Okay, anyways, this place has great service and great food. My food WOULDVE been better if I didnt put so much basil in it like a moron, not thinking, but that was my fault. This actually has great food. I personally dont like thin noodles, but thats just a sensory integration disorder thing. Id likely like them if I didnt have SID. Its just something Ive learned on my own to live with, though. I still gladly ate them, though. This place is actually pretty clean, and you can tell the employees work hard a d try to do their best. The only reason why Im giving it 4 stars, instead of 5 is because theres always those restaurants that are just incredible. This isnt one of them, but its a great restaurant, which is why Im giving it 4, instead of 3, 3 being average.

I have been holding out to keep this hidden gem all to myself. Its time to release the joy that this food brings to us. Come here regularly all the way from Denton with the family and each time get the Pho. The broths have such great flavor and meld great with the other ingredients. By far the best in this area and priced reasonable for the large and Xlarge servings, which can be shared. The variety is really good and you can try other dishes if soup is not your thing. The location is tricky to get to, but well worth the stop. Its in a shopping plaza next to a Pizza Hut and a Super Torta, but this place is certainty the "star" of the area. Warning....closed on Wednesdays.

The Pho Asian Star has some great pho. I tried the seafood beef pho and my wife had the beef version. Both were very good and had great flavors. I order a large thinking I would need that much for a meal. That amount with a couple crab rangoons would have and did make two meals at least. The service was fantastic and the owner took the time to explain the menu and helped us decide what we wanted. Very friendly and helpful. Prices are very low for the quality of the food and service! Will be back many times I am sure!

Ive eaten at a ton of Vietnamese restaraunts around DFW and this one falls right in line with the good group. The Pho here is pretty good. One way I usually measure the quality of the place Im eating at is the freshness of the shrimp spring rolls. They were made fresh to order and tasted great! Denton county doesnt have a lot of Vietnamese options but I can definitely advise this place serves good food at a good price. You wont have to leave the city limits to satisfy that craving for good Vietnamese food!

I have been coming here since they opened and have yet to find better Vietnamese food in the Denton area. The pho bo is fragrant and delicious, bahn mi on fresh crispy baguette, and spring rolls are filled with fresh veggies and grilled-when-you-order protein of your choice. Service can be a little hit or miss and the last time we went I think all the servers were 16 years old or so and a bit over eager to help. Even so, I adore this place. Order delivery if youre nearby!

This was easily the worst Chinese food we have ever had. My husband and I travel the country for our careers and we have eaten at many, many restaurants. The chicken was dry, which I have never experienced at a Chinese restaurant and the fried egg rolls were mushy. I cannot speak to the Vietnamese food served here as we did not eat it. We will never eat here again and if anybody asks we will tell them to not come here.

These people are sweet. Always smiling. The Spring Rolls have both shrimp and pork as traditionally served. There are options to the Spring Rolls too, like shredded pork. The Vermicelli bowls are crisp and fresh with veggies. And last but not least, the Pho is the best in Denton. Much better than Viet Bites!!!

The food was excellent and the prices are reasonable. Some of the best pho that I have tried. The service was fast but not rushed and they constantly kept my water topped off. If you are in the mood for some pho or other Vietnamese food definitely give this place a try if you are in the area.

This place blew us away! We couldnt find a place for pho in Denton on Sunday. We got huge bowls (not even the largest offered) full of delicious broth, noodles, veggies and protein in what felt like seconds after ordering. We plan to have lunch here again this next Sunday!

I may be a bit of a pho addict and when I moved to the north texas area I was so happy to find this place. Their pho is consistently spectacular and so is the service! I highly recommend this restaurant if you want delicious Pho coupled with amazing service!

Just moved to the area. Loved our old Pho place in Ft. Worth. This place is even better! Great spring roll and peanut sauce. Amazing Beef Pho, Broth is soooo good! We will be regular customers for sure.
