Just ordered this tonight. TWO orders of chicken Lo Mein, ONE order of sweet n sour, and ONE order of kids nuggets. Asian lady repeated my order as I went. It was delivered way before it was estimated. BUT, I pulled out my order from the bag and one ONE lo mein. Ok no sweat, Ill call. So I did. Talked to a young woman who apologized. She asked the manager (Asian lady that took my original order) and said I told her one order. Negative ghost rider. I told u two. She repeated if back. So I place the second order. She tells me its $8.xx. I told her no, it was your fault, your paying for it right? She asked manager again. The manager said nope, ur mistake, u pay for it. I told them how I felt and hung up. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! If you are wrong, you take care of your customers first. First rule of business... Guess they dont get that. Good food otherwise... Be aware future customers. MAKE SURE YOU REPEAT YOURSELF MULTIPLE TIMES if your speaking to this manager.

We ordered delivery and they forgot a bunch of items and the bill was $15 higher than quoted. Apparently, they dont include tax in your quoted order and also charge $5 for condiments, without calling and asking. When I called about the missing food, the girl was rude and said she would get it to us when they could. I called back to ask for a credit (took hour to get delivery the first time and didnt want to wait) and she said "sure" and hung up on me without getting my information or anything else, lol - WOW. So, I called back and talked to another lady who said she would take care of everything and wrote down my information. Im curious to see if I actually get my credit and not have to call the bank to dispute. Dont ever order delivery from these rude people. I see why their parking lot is always empty.,.

I cant say that the food was anything memorable, however we enjoyed the friendliness of the service, right down to the sushi chef. This is not a bad meal by any stretch, its just a place you will want to temper your expectations at. Its not a fine dining experience, just average chinese food. They do deliver for free, which is nice, and they have a coupon for 15% off $25 spent. Check their website. The big plus was the friendliness. Another review by: Foodie Jones

The fried rice was fluffy, not greasy! The flavors were fantastic, not bland nor over-spiced. The wonton soup was full of mushrooms and meat. The veggies were fresh and crisp while the meat was tender. The lunch prices are a steal. There was so much food I ended up with lunch and dinner. And after, I didnt feel loaded with salt or msg. I was just pleasantly full. If you want great Chinese, lovely decor, fantastic service, and low prices this is the place to go!

In the 6o or so times Ive eaten here - I have ordered everything on the sushi list and have always been impressed. My Itamae JD takes great pride in his sushi skills. Im always at ease here and never feel hurried - theres always more hot green tea and time to finish my work while I relax. You could pay more down the street, but you wont have a better dining experience than East Ocean.

Not that many good chinese places around, especially that deliver. That said, Ive always found East Ocean to be pretty good. Food is always fresh, hot and flavorful. Pricing is also pretty reasonable. Lunch specials are quite inexpensive. When weve ordered delivery its always been quick. Dont go expecting Pei Wei or PF Changs but, for a small local place with delivery, its good.

The food portions were great here and the service was outstanding. It was quiet when the wife and I tried it but we usually eat out on Tuesdays so take that with a grain of salt. The decor looked good for the restaurant it wasnt over done and the bathrooms were decent. Give this place a try if youre a fan of Chinese food. Definitely do not try the appetizer sampler alone.

This business doesnt know their menu and doesnt even know how to put rice on the side for take out. Get a lesson on how to run your business. If you put the entree on top of rice for to go orders, the rice may get soggy! Go see how another food joint runs their to go business. For example, la madeleines is across the street and hope you guys can manage that well.

Wow, if you like Chinease, you had BETTER common over here. My sister recomended this with great enthusiasm. The rice, which I usually hate cuz its tastless, was actually exelent! I dont even like rice! And get this--the fortune cookie actually work! The sushi is fresh and juicy. Please please please come here!!

As me and my wife chuckle -- "We dont even think about going somewhere else.", which is completely true. We love the casual atmosphere, the reasonable price for sushi, and the generous portions for other dishes. I dont know why youd pay more for Chinese food that may not even taste as good. Enjoy!!

Had delivery last night. Have ordered from East Ocean before. The cashew chicken had very little chicken in it and maybe two cashews, the broccoli beef meat was very chewy and tough. Wont be ordering from there again. Something has changed with their quality.

We rate Chinese food restaurants by their crab rangoon. The entrees here were great, but the crab rangoon was absolutely awful. Definitely the worst weve ever tasted. So, if you are like us and could live on crab rangoon alone, then avoid this place.

My wife and I stopped here the other day and it was very good. Its American style Chinese food and thats exactly what we wanted. The egg rolls and spring rolls were awesome. Service was excellent and the price was good. We will visit again soon.

As far as Americanized Chinese food goes, this place is really good. The ingredients they use are high quality, and the veggies always fresh. Theres never a single other patron in there when Ive been there, so theres never a wait!

They have GREAT sushi, very fresh and yummy! every dish ive had there has been really good. but if your not too hungry you might want to split it with someone.
