Being a cold, dreary, drizzly Saturday, the kind that just make you wanna stay in bed all day and eat cupcakes, I decided to pop in and give this place a day in court. Holey moley am I glad I did! Being the vanilla fan that I am, I opted for six of the "plain jane" cupcakes, meaning of course vanilla cake, vanilla frosting, and they were absolutely outstanding! The cake was homemade, super moist, almost buttery, and very flavorful. Sent me right back to the holidays during my childhood and Memaws buttery bundt cake. The vanilla buttercream frosting was extra vanilla-y, super smooth and not at all greasy, like I have come across many, many times at bakeries. To top it all off, their icing to cake ratio is on point. Sunshine Bakery is my new go to cupcake fix! You guys rock!

She makes the cupcakes from scratch..not just a mix with added oil and egg!!! Her icings are to die for as well. For someone who tries to eat healthy, this is my downfall, my weakness.
