Good food for the money, but they have got to figure out how to crank out the burgers quicker during high demand times like lunch and dinner. There have been times when Ive waited 20-30 minutes for my food, and have thought if I had the option of taking a burger that was cooked 30 minutes before the rush vs. one hot off the grill Id take one thats been sitting in a warmer for 30 minutes. Id recommend buying a larger grill or precooking some burgers and keeping them in a chafing dish to give those of us that dont want to wait the option of selecting a precooked burger (you could even do some catchy marketing such as the "Starvin Like Marvin Quick Meal." If youre going to list your phone number on your website and indicate youll take phone orders, the phone needs to be on the hook (when not being used to take and order) and someone needs to answer it within 20 rings. I have lost count of the number of times I have attempted to call ahead in an effort to reduce my wait time only to get a constant busy signal or have no one answer the phone. If youre too busy to take phone orders then take a page out of every major fast food retailers playbook and get in touch with ChowNow or another vendor who will set you up with an app so people can order over the internet and your staff can focus on cooking to meet demand. I know for a fact youre losing sales due to the inability to promptly meet demand and fill orders within what most consider an acceptable time frame.

My family and I ate here Saturday July 1st. I ordered the food while my husband and kids found a table. When they called our number my husband and son went and got the food. There were two trays of food sitting there. One was burgers and one was fries so they picked them both up. About 5 minutes later (I assume he was one of the cooks) came by our table and said "where you number 32 ?" to which we said yes. He said "yea yall picked up fries that werent yours" in a very rude way. My husband had no idea they werent ours since both trays were sitting there when they called our number and he knew fries came with our food. So fair warning if you pick a tray that the cooks put up there when they call YOUR number you best hope it all belongs to you or will get rudely accosted by the workers. Food was great and we enjoyed it but probably wont go back due to the rudeness of the staff.

Feeling nostalgic for In N Out? This is your place. Secret sauce? Check. Animal style? Check? Grilled or raw onions? Check. Milk shakes, little green peppers, toasted buns? Check, check and check. In fact, I would argue that the fries are tastier than the famous west coast chain. Love the California themed decorations and a combo meal will run you about $7. If youre a California ex-pat living in Nashville you should definitely make the drive and have a day trip in Nolensville which has a cool little historic area. You can argue for years about the best burger in Nashville but theres no arguing that this little joint nails that California flavor perfectly.

Fresh burgers and crisp fries at a price that you cant really complain about. The menu is a bit limited, but this place isnt pretending to be anything it isnt. Thats an important thing to note, as places like Burger Republic (just down the road a bit) pretends to be a gourmet burger and most of the time is not. All in all, its much better than a fast food burger and youll appreciate the Californian influence. Youll get out of there for a little less than a Five Guys.

Everything that the folks below are saying about it being the best in Nashville and being as close to In-N-Out as you can get are absolutely true. Some may disagree with me when I say that I actually find it to be a tad better than In-N-Out. At least todays burger made me feel that way. The only thing that Im bummed out about is that I didnt know that this place existed before todays lunch. Ive been missing out!

You folks are crazy that think this is the best burger in Nashville. The patties are paper thin and you cant even taste the meat. All you taste are the toppings and thousand island dressing, or as they call it, Shack Sauce. I just cant ever recommend a burger place that serves patties that freaking small. Same goes for In-N-Out. Great, your stuff is fresh, but your patties are tiny and have no taste.

Being an experienced burger enthusiast, I can safely say this is the absolute best burger AND fries I have ever had the pleasure of eating. With a completely unbiased thought process going into this establishment, I left with my mind utterly blown to bits. Dont let another day go by without trying a combo from Burger Shack. Would simply be a shame to have never experienced this meal.

They were not busy and it took them 30 minutes to get me and my friend our food. The food is affordable, but the cheese burger is as thick a 50 cent burger from Krystals. All their trash cans were packed full. They said from the start sweet tea was almost ready, yet an hour later it still wasnt. Overall the entire operation screams amateur hour, from their logo to their food.

Man oh man did I love this place when it first opened. Never liked the location, but we went there anyways. My whole group of co-workers would go here. Then the nickel and diming began. 25 cents extra for this, 1.25 for that & .10 for this. It just put a really bad taste in my mouth. With that being said, its still a good west coast burger.

Excellent, delicious, fresh toppings, great tasting burgers. Typical ok fries and shake. But the burger and chicken sandwich are awesome. I would put Five Guys right under this place in rank in Nashville in initial taste. But five guys sits on the stomach a little better in its meat quality. Drove 45 minutes and it was worth it.

It is essentially In-N-Out, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Be aware that the seating area in the front of the restaurant is incredibly tiny, and the side seating area can have direct sun pouring in through the windows, especially during warm afternoons. However, theres also nice outdoor seating.

Heard rumors that the Burger Shack was very similar to In n Out. Well, to quasi-quote the Govenator "Its not a rumor" this the real thing and closest burger to In n Out this side of Texas. So if you are looking for a burger very similar to In n Out or just looking for a good burger Come get some, at the Shack.

Wonderful staff and good food. I just didnt like having the open top trash can under the condiment station. You have to reach over trash can to get the ketchup and utincles with a clear view of all the trash from other customers. Other than that I have a good overall experience.

If you miss In-n-Out burger, this place does a great job coming close to it! I enjoy the burgers and fries! My daughter enjoyed the milkshake! Food is great, price is good, and the service was fantastic. We were there a little before the main dinner rush, it did get busy!
