Immediately upon walking in the door we had terrible service. The hostess glared at me as she stated the fact that we had to make a reservation a day in advance for five people. The Google posting for Two Ten Jack says that they open at 5pm. They open at 4pm. I guess its so exclusive that they dont want to advertise the first operating hour. Had we known they opened an hour before we would have showed up at 4 and not at 5. However, we showed up at 5 expecting to be one of the first parties there and the line was out the door. Whatever. We went in, told the hostess we had five people, and she treated us like we were idiots. She didnt ask for a name and offer a reservation, she just said "Its going to be an hour and a half. You should have made a reservation." She was also extremely rude to the customer in front of us, telling him that "theres a process" that he just didnt understand. I understand getting frustrated when youre busy, but you should never treat a customer that way. As someone who has worked in customer service for six years, there was a better way to handle this on her end. On a Saturday, you would think they would have more staff on hand to work the empty tables (about half of the tables there), but I imagine they had a lot of people quit. I will most likely never return to Two Ten Jack. If you do decide to go, dont forget to make a reservation in advance.

The chicken Raman soup I ordered was excellent. I would definitely get it again. The reason why I am giving this place three stars is because of two things. My husband ordered one of the top priced sushi rolls because he and I love sushi so we wanted to get a good roll that is on the higher end. The roll he ordered came with 5 pieces for $15 and it wasnt even good!! That is one piece of Sushi for $3. That is crazy! So we will now continue to get our sushi rolls elsewhere for better quality and a lot cheaper. My second reason of why I rated this restaurant a 3 was because of our seating. We did not get seated until an hour after we arrived, which is normally ok but when they took us to our seat, we had to sit in between 2 couples. It was very awkward and uncomfortable. We felt very squeezed in and was contemplating on whether to go to a different restaurant but decided to stay since we waited that long. The hostesses should have gave us an option of whether we wanted to sit with others or sit private. I have never heard of a restaurant squeezing you in between people without asking if it is ok first. I think this restaurant could do well but they need to fix a few things.

I have never been treated so rude. I was out celebrating my friends birthday and catching up with my close group of friends. We arrived before 5 and had a drink at the bar until they were able to seat us (after 5). The restaurant was mostly empty when they seated the 4 of us at one of their large tables. As soon as we paid our bills we were rudely asked to vacate the table they had sat us at because they had a large reservation waiting for it. We were still talking. We dont get out as much as we would like with our busy family lives and for this rude hostess to tell us we needed to leave because of their poor planning is outrageous. She did say we could move to the bar to have a drink. The bar was completely full. It doesnt matter how good your food is if you look at your customers as dollar signs, you will lose business. You have lost mine. There are plenty of great places to eat in Nashville. Your employees will not dictate how much time I can spend with my friends. if you are popular maybe you should consider expanding your venue.

This place is everything i could imagine for a business to be perfect. Not too cheap, not too expensive, affordable, VERY good food, normal portions, friendly waiters and waitresses that are not hypocritical, amazing interior which is a mix of Asian and modern interior design. It is big but not too big, not that much of a touristic place but crowded on weekends. And most of all, the waiters/waitresses really know what they are serving, and THEY KNOW HOW TO POUR A GLASS OF WINE! The wine is expensive though, i wish they had at least a 4/5$ house wine instead of 7. They dont fill it to the top like all those ridiculous expensive so called fancy places do in Nashville. I put 4 stars and not 5 because the patio was closed. It is not understandable to close a patio on a Saturday night when the weather is amazing. Specially in a neighborhood where people walk around. Please Nashville take example of two ten jack and higher your standards!

First, the atmosphere is perfect. Not too quiet, not too loud. Its casual enough so you dont feel unwelcome if you decide to stop in after the rock climbing wall (though you may want to put on a pair of jeans first), but not so casual that youd be out of place visiting after a business meeting in your recently pressed suit. Its dimly lit and well designed. This would be a great date spot. Somewhere you have the freedom to dress as nice as youd like, or come in jeans and a T-shirt. The servers at the bar were soft spoken and pleasant when attentive, though at times i felt i had to strain a bit for their attention. Service knocks off a star. The chicken ramen was delicious. The flavor and mix of ingredients went far beyond the Ramen of our college years. The serving size was small and I left hungry. This knocks off a star. But pair it with a side dish and I think youll leave full and happy.

I was really looking forward to trying Two Ten for the first time with my girlfriend. Unfortunately we were immediately let down by the service upon walking through the door. There were 3 hostesses behind the stand being snarky and laughing about how a previous party had walked out from the wait. They were rude and had an argumentative tone towards the party in front of myself, who also walked out. Considering maybe she was having a rough day, I tried to be nice, but in return all I got were more rude remarks. It was as if they were getting a kick off turning people down and watching them leave. So we decided to follow suit and take our business elsewhere. I hope the food is good. Because I dont think people go to be treated that way before being seated.

What a surprisingly wonderful Japanese restaurant in Nashville. Its rare that you find ethnic food thats both true to the style and creative. The ramen was definitely a highlight. The pork was simply delicious, rich, savory with tender pork belly and a perfectly cooked egg. It was a bit salty but absolutely delicious. The vegetarian ramen was sweeter and not quite as rich (obviously, its veggie) but was too rate. Other standouts were the roasted Brussels sprouts, the hush puppies with dried octopus, and the pork belly yakatori. Lastly the drinks here are phenomenal and the selection of sake is solid. The service is friendly, funny and accommodating. Be prepared for a wait so try to cozy up at the bar for a drink before you sit.
