.... I hate to give a bad review.... Ok, food was tasty. I recomend the double fried chicken..... And thats about it. Ordered the rice ball special, chicken, bbq ramen, pickles and the pork belly bun....... Speaking of which. You mean to tell me a bun... A BUN, one single bun with gravy and a crumb of bacon come out to $7?!?!?! Im not hung up on the money thing but come on. Thats a bit much no? This place is over priced for what they offer... and its not much. Not many choices for the non fish eaters F.Y.I. and not fufilling. 4 rice balls (golf ball sized) 2 chicken.... tenders really, a bowl of broth with a pack of top ramen and a finger bowl or raddishes.... and not to mention my ONE BUN. $60.... and ended up at McDonalds. Sorry Yusho, nice ambiance and again tasty treats. But this is a snack bar. Not a dinner choice.

We went on a monday. Most of the staffwas surly or spaced out, especially the host/ cook? He was very grumpy and seated us under an icy fan and was visibly annoyed when we asked for better seating in the nearly empty dining room. Things did not improve. I had a great carry out experience a week before, so I thought the food would be good. Our server was spacey and did little to explain the menu, which left us guessing with the result more miss than hit. There were some tasty fries but the bim bop was off. nothing else memorable. Disappointing.

The food was amazing. They have a Jedi master working the line. Start with the corn and you will look at grilled corn on the cob in a whole new light! Move on to the steam buns. We did the Yusho Dog and the Glazed Pork Belly. Dont be intimidated by the food. The Ramen is the next stop on your voyage to Japanese Perfection. We went with the Logan Poser and the BBQ Chicken, these were absolutely the best bowls of ramen we have ever had. If you are thinking of going, stop thinking and go!

I tried 2 dishes (Yusho to go) yesterday and was disappointed at home :( "Grilled Shrips" - 3 pcs for $12. Really?!! Noodles were not really tasty (matter of taste?). Still hungry and disappointed for $22. I give 1 star for velocity: my order was ready in 10 minutes. And the second star for a good location and variety (Japanese kitchen is still new to Hyde Park). Guys, my hope is youll become better.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and was greeted/seated immediately. Service was excellent. I ordered the spicy pork belly ramen. Overall, I was pleased. The broth was great, but the pork tasted like it was charred a bit too long on the grill and had a bit of an acrid taste. Could have been spicier for my taste, but Ill just ask for more chili sauce next time. No biggie. Ill eat here again.

I was not at all impressed with the food here. The menu tries for a hip fusion take on asian food. This isnt a problem, Ive been to places that succeed at this. The flavors here really dont come together. We ordered a pork bun which was bland and underwhelming and a bread dumpling soup which had a strong liver taste that didnt work.

Is this fusion or confusion? The loaded fries and anything fried was okay (thus plus one star), but other than that it is what I would call dark side of cuisine. If you can only get fried food right I recommend making your food at a fair, not at a fusion restaurant.

Had the Charred Octupus with green beah, and enoki mushroom. I was a little hesitant at first, but I really enjoyed it. It was different and very tasty. Would love to try the ramen on another day. #CitiExperts @Localguides

One of my favorites in Hyde Park. Buns are great (try the pork belly) and the ramen bowls are good too. All topped off with tasty homemade hooch! Great happy hour specials as well. Quality food and drink worth the price.

Really awesome little spot in Hyde Park. Delicious ramen, tasty steam buns, Japanese whiskey, and amazing loaded fries; on Mondays and Wednesdays you can bring your own records and the staff will play them while you eat.

Ramen here is excellent. Go there for the ramen. The other options are too small and pricey. If you stay with the ramen its a 5-star experience! Plus, they should stay open til later. Saturdays just until 9? Seriously?

most of the time the food here is pretty tasty. I think you just have to know the right thing to order for yourself. its definitely a fusion restaurant so dont expect "authenticity" or anything like that.

Tried BBQ chicken ramen, my husband Logan porkbelly ramen and my daughter veggie ramen with shrimp. Soup base is not right, greasy and turned out very salty. Will not go back, really not worth the money

I also had the three shrimp totally ridiculous price! they were seasoned but nothing came with it what did I pay that fee for! $4 per shrimp I know now why the crowd thinned

Weve been twice about a year apart, and had the same impression. Its almost really good, but the food is really diminished by being extremely salty.

Staff is awesome. All were friendly and helpful. Cool environment overall. My wife and I both got ramen bowls. Kind of bland. Definitely overpriced.

Really not a huge fan of the asian fusion food. The atmosphere tries to be kind of modern, but something is off.

Korean soju and fried chicken very good.Watch that sauce, its Korean hot. The soju (sake)is strong.

EL

It isnt authentic and the service is not great but it is still a good spot to grab a bite to eat

Their noodle dish is just not that good, I wish it was better. I would never buy again.

Excellent. What hyde park needed. They just need a kids menu in order to be perfect.
