I dont even know where to begin, regarding this restaurant! Unfortunately, theres not a lower number to give these people, so I had to put the one star! First off, I told them that I have never had Korean food and I was very excited to try it, so I was asking them if they could help out and advise or recommend what chicken or beef Korean food I should try. To which, both waitresses shook their head and walked away telling me that theyre is really no chicken Korean meal they have! I was SHOCKED, to say the least when BOTH waitresses acted so horrible and unhelpful! Frustrated, I finally just ordered a teriyaki box... chicken teriyaki. When the box was brought to me, The teriyaki looked like a teriyaki sauce that I have never seen in my life! It literally looked like oil and flour mix together given it a slimy gravy - like substance. The chicken looked on cooked, covered in this nasty looking sauce! The so-called eggrolls tasted horribly with a feeling that felt and tasted just like that so-called chicken teriyaki sauce, inside. The salad look like somebody vomited the dressing on top of it. The only thing that was edible was the miso soup. When the bill was brought to me, I asked the waitress who the owner was at which point, she pointed the guy behind the bar that was so engrossed in watching a boxing championship with Metalica playing in the background. I proceeded to let them know that this was the worst Japanese food Ive ever tasted and I showed them the teriyaki sauce showing them the gravy looking slimy substance that had a coffee and cream color.. a creamy taupe color with lumps in it . At that point, he shook his shoulders and gave a faint smile as the waitress looked and me and barely said the word sorry. I can say that this is the worst Japanese restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life! OMg how it is supposed to have a 4.5 star is beyond me!!!

Be aware that the 8 piece + California is 8 piece of chefs choice sashimi. Normally Im all good with sashimi, but this was very low quality. The smoked salmon and eel were the only two I really enjoyed, but they both had a very salty briney flavor to them. I had to actually choke down once piece as not to spit it out. All of the pieces shared that low quality salty flavor, nothing stood out. And the octopus as usual tasted like a rubber band. Im mostly annoyed theyd do octopus at all because of that. Also the main reason Im disliking this is because I asked our server multiple times what the 8 pieces were, and she couldnt give me a straight answer.

This is my go to sushi place in Antioch or anywhere. Its affordable and the service is fast. The people are nice. Im a regular. Its honestly a hole in the wall. The sushi here isnt like a restaurant downtown Nashville but it would do well downtown no doubt. Its a small nook so be ready to wait a couple minutes on a busy weekend. Its family owned and they are all great. Its quiet in there sometimes. It would be nice to turn up the music. When I come here, I also hear other great compliments on the restaurant and food. Great hole in the wall! Go go go!

We eat Japanese food several nights a week. The sushi was mediocre, but priced well. The place and dishes were dirty. The lady that waited on us was extremely rude. We asked if she could sub fried rice instead of steamed with the Teriyaki Chicken and she said no that we must order a separate order of fried rice. Most places either come with it or will charge an extra $1or 2. The fried rice tasted like chicken Ramen. There are many places around town much better, cleaner, and friendlier.

It was a really good restaurant awhile back, but now a day the bowls, dishes, and plates come out dirty. The seafood soup (which was my favorite) tasted really salty and smell like rotten seafood, and it gave me stomach ache a few times. Their services have gotten really bad. You have to look for them just to get a refill on the hot tea. Sushi doesnt taste fresh! They give you only a tiny pinch of wasabi and ginger, only enough to sniff it while eating the sushi. :(

Went looking for good Korean food. My bibimbap was good but not great, and I was disappointed that they didnt have rice cakes in sauce (not sure what theyre called in English). It was a bit expensive, too, for what it was. I may go back if I dont find anywhere better, but Ill be looking around. I did like the atmosphere of the place, though.

I just finished lunch at Midori with a couple of my friends. This was my first visit, and Im in LOVE! I ate a Bento Box from the lunch menu. Everything (soup, salad, chicken, and sushi) was delicious! The prices were more than reasonable as well. Our server was great also, and anticipated all of our needs. An awesome lunch.

The decor was outdated and it didnt not have a tidy appearance. I had a variety of sushi that was sub-par and my cup was dirty. Overall a disappointment. My waiter was friendly though, which was about the only positive.
