This place rocks. This place rocks hard. Every time we go in we have an amazing experience. The host/hostess is friendly, the wait staff is helpful, friendly, caring and FUN! Every question we ask is settled (they are happy to accommodate vegans and substitute cruelty-free options). Every order is PERFECT. The food is SPECTACULAR. I always leave full, even when my whole order is only a cucumber roll and cubed tofu. :D Im completely addicted to the atmosphere (they play such great tunage - Josh, who is sometimes in charge of the playlist has exquisite taste in music); the decor is warm and inviting, the space is just altogether welcoming. Ive never had a bad experience here, and its one of the plethora of reasons we just keep going back! WE LOVE YOU, I LOVE SUSHI. YOU ARE STELLAR!!!!

Since I live west of Huntsville, I usually go to the Madison location. But for the last 3 weeks circumstances have brought me to this restaurant. Madison is great, but this one is near perfection. The sushi and service are great in both (and in this one the booths are sized better). Special callouts for the crew-cut male bartender/server and the short blonde hair female server. I wish I had noted their names. They really make us feel welcome. As far as the food itself it is delish. I usually get a couple of plain raw fish (sorry I cannot remember the Japanese name) and a generic roll and it is excellent.

Great for sushi but go to Edos for authentic entrees. Their sushi selection has both variety and unique combos. I enjoy the Viagra roll, Nameko Jiru, and Ton Jiru soups. While the quality of the sushi is amazing, the entrees put me at a loss. The entrees arent bad- just be careful if youre expecting authenticity. Atmosphere is quite nice- red walls and black lacquered trim with soft lighting throughout. Service is good. The menu can be a tad pricey for the quantity but about average for the area.

So. The sushi was good, not the best in HSV, but good. I removed 1 star for the price (it is a bit pricier than my favorite place in hsv), 1 star for service (it was very poor, we had our order ready at the bar for a good 10+ minutes, refills were slow, bill was slow), 2 star for the cockroach that was climbing on me (it was on my shoulder and I about had a heart attack, my son pointed it out and after we knocked it off and squished it on the floor it magically disappeared).

The hostess wasnt friendly at all. She acted like I shouldnt be there. When I checked my food before leaving because I ordered carry out. She stared at me the entire time and when I asked for a fork she threw it in my bag I was holding rather than hand to it to me. Im big on customer service so this was very disappointing. Nevertheless my sushi and fried rice was good but I rather have Rice Box.

Walked in and was greeted immediately with theres a 30 min wait after trying to find a parking spot for 40 minutes. The hostess said she would text me with 30-35 mins as soon as there was a spot open. Its now been an hour and a half and nothing from them. I believe if you make a promise you should uphold it. Definitely will rethink where I take my time and money next time.

This is the best Japanese place to eat in Huntsville, not only by my opinion, but others I have met. Huge selection of sushi, which always tastes great. Great dish selection. Fast service. Usually pretty popular and crowded, but decent enough to usually get a seat unless its on the weekend. The waitresses are pretty nice. The sushi workers are really nice!

They advertise draft beer and the taps are down when I arrive on a Saturday night. The Manager came around to ask how we are and after I relay my frustration, I am given and empty apology. We like(d) this place too. Its a shame its gone so far downhill. It should close so a real restaurant can open in its place.

Great sushi place. The sushi tasted fresh and the interior of the place was clean and very sleek and professional. I sat at the sushi bar and the guys preparing the sushi were precise and professional. Could have had a larger selection of roll variety, but very good overall. Would visit again and take friends.

Service was good, although they took a while to bring out our sushi, but that was because they made everything at once instead of bringing it out as they made it. They had an interesting sushi roll called the burrito roll. It isnt real Japanese but it was pretty tasty and unique. We would go back again.

After waiting for 45 minutes, we had a couple sit down behind us. They got their drinks and food within 15 minutes, while my girlfriend and I were still waiting! The food was good, but the service was absolutely terrible... would not recommend to anyone who doesnt like waiting an hour to get their food.

This sushi restaurant is very misleading I ordered $50 worth of sushi and everything was crammed on 1 and half small takeout plates. The rainbow roll looks large but thats because its filled with cream cheese and hardly any fish. Save yourself heart ache and avoid this place like the plague

I have had alot of sushi in my time. In many countries around the world. I dont know if they were training a new guy that night or what but for the price the sushi was not horrible but not good and for the price it wasnt worth it. Ive had better from a street vendor in Toyoko.

While the food was good, we have run into a problem: there is no changing table in either bathroom. Meaning, when we go out to eat we have to either change our daughters diaper on the floor or go to the car and change her in the trunk. This is really not acceptable.

Its like the Madison location, but more hole-in-the-wall feeling. It feels like a place that you wouldnt expect to see a lot of children at, which is what I prefer. Madison location is also fantastic (actually is my favorite of the two).

Wait staff is fun and friendly. Always checking to make sure were taken care of. There is a little wait for the food but thats why I always order the miso soup to start off. Keeps me satisfied till the good stuff arrives

Had the spring rolls and Eel rolls. Spring rolls were good. The Eel rolls however tasted very good but the nori was rubbery. It was difficult to eat. It took all the enjoyment from the great taste.

Decent Lunch place. The service is neither super speedy nor painfully slow. They do have a nice Lunch bento deal, or sushi combo. I have not been here for dinner so I cannot speak for that time of day.

The sushi is good and atmosphere. There are a couple of places in town that have better sushi. The rating should actually be a 4.5. The booth did have a seat that squeaked and was annoying.
