While the pizza is alright, the management certainly lives up to the establishment s name. Three of my coworkers and I visted the 5 Points location this past Friday, April 15. We ordered and visited the juke box. After putting OVER $25 in it, we were told that our music was inappropriate. Imagine my shock-my eclectic playlist that ranged from Queen to Fetty Wap to Johnny Cash to Drake to Beyonce to FOB and back again was inappropriate for a bar in 5 Points! They promptly turned the jukebox off...and played Linkin Park. The manager gave us some weak excuse about this 5 Points bar in the midst of happy hour being a "family establishment" despite the lack of any families being present, the jukebox only playing editted versions, the fact that it was their jukebox, and the playlist being not exclusively rap (as if that was even relevant ). Needless to say, we left after tipping our poor server quite well (since this idiocy was not her fault) and spent our time and money at a different establishment a couple of doors down that had a much more welcoming atmosphere, Goats.

I always feel a special sort of sadness at Village Idiot. There are a lot of college kids in there and college kids, so full of expectations but also burdened by insecurities, seem to exude an unstable miasma of desperation. Its a dark place that immediately pulls me back to that age. That being said, the pizza is good and they have all sorts of specials.

This place has a cool vibe to it. You cant beat dollar pizza nights though. Want to fill up on the cheap with ok pizza? This is the place. I dont crave their pizza but I certainly crave it when my wallet is feeling bare on a Monday or Tuesday night. Cheaper and better than little Cesars.

The pizza is great but the waitresses were not very attentive. It was hard to get service, we waited a long time to get our pizza after a lot of people were served before us. I asked two different waitresses for another beer and never got it. One of the worst service experiences ever.

Very much a college town pizza place. The pizza itself is good, but you can expect the restaurant to be dirty, and the bathrooms to be outright disgusting. Keep in mind it becomes a college bar every night after 10, but if youre only going for the pizza youll leave satisfied.

Customer service was horrible. There is no continuity with prices or promotions amongst staff. They have long waits and do not deliver in a timely manner. The pizza is good. However, if you can go to the one on Forest Drive, please do. The experience here is always terrible.

This is a nice place but geared more toward the college crowd. They usually have a cheap beer special and their pizza slices are pretty good. They used to do a trivia night but didnt do a good job of enforcing the "no cell phone" rule.

Its been 8 years since I left USC and I STILL crave village idiot. As my dad says, "they have the best spinach salad EVER!". Pizzas are delicious and I love their calzones. Pretty good beer selection too.

Decent beer selection and a great variety of pizza... service is hit or miss, but usually not bad. Atmosphere is typical for a college pizza pub. Good times

Went in. Not too busy. Sat for 15 minutes...no one ever came to our table. Multiple servers not doing anything. Got up a left.

Cheap and consistently good pizza, great hangout place. Located upstairs over the Pho Viet restaurant. Stairs go out the street.

The pizza is bomb but the mixed drinks are weak and the beers were kind of stale.
