My sister and I took my parents to Villa Rosa last Monday for Mothers Day. We have been Villa Rosa regulars for at least the last 15 years. My parents had requested that we choose a local place that night because sadly, my mom had just learned that her sister was in the ICU and was expected to pass away shortly. The food was good, as always, but my family was appalled by how poor the service was, and in particular, how blatantly rude our waitress was. She spoke to everyone at the table, including my mother, with a terrible attitude, acting annoyed to even be at work. Beyond her terrible attitude, the waitress service was simply poor. Our courses werent timed correctly and ended up stacked on top of each other, in a clear effort to push us out the door. She forgot our bread, and upon us reminding her for the second time, she snapped at us as if we did something wrong. The final straw was as we were finishing up our dinner, around 8:30 pm. We had been dining for about an hour, trying to enjoy our Mothers Day despite having recently received such sad news in our family. The waitress felt it was the appropriate time to begin vacuuming the dining room in the area immediately next to our table. I should note that we were the only table in the restaurant. The noise from the vacuum was so loud that my mom and I had to literally yell at each other to continue our conversation. In all of our years as loyal Villa Rosa patrons, weve never experienced anything close to this level of rudeness. I spent several years in college making a living waiting tables, and my sister is currently a restaurant manager. By any standard, the waitress did an awful job and put forth an intentional effort to make my family feel uncomfortable. If I were in charge of the restaurant, I would fire her immediately. There are plenty of people out there who would welcome the opportunity for a steady job as a server in such a tight economy.

First let me say I believe this place is under new management but am not sure. The husband and wife who use to run it would fight constantly. I use to hear yelling and things being thrown when I went in to pick up my pizza. Then the wife would come out of the kitchen with dark circles under her eyes to take my payment. Bad situation. Once my wife stopped in and asked the owner if he would like to donate 2 pizzas for the basket raffle for the local elementary school. He told her - if your looking for free handouts go see Obama. Since then we have never been back. As I said, I think they are under new management/ownership so maybe things have changed. Lets hope so.

The foods great every time but the service leaves a lot to be desired. The servers are general space cases, seeming not to want to actually communicate effectively or they were more concerned with playing on their cell phones instead of paying attention to their tables, not asking if people wanted refills on beverages and things like that. Would I go back? Yes, but only for take-out, not to dine-in.

This place has been really good lately. We have been ordering from here for a while now due to the other 2 pizza joints near by were on a bad steak. This place has gotten better I remember ordering here a few years ago and it was garbage. Everything is has been good and on time. This is my go to pizza joint up in this area next to the other one in Neffs that makes the best diner entrees!

Great food, better management. We stopped here today to grab a quick bite and John, the owner, noticed that our tire was almost flat and offered to help us change it. After our meal, which was great, he came out to our truck with a jack and changed the tire for us. If youre looking for great Italian food, go to Villa Rosa on Rt 309.

Do not use catering. Ordered four days in advance and they forgot to make the food. Once the food was finally made and delivered we noticed that the "half" orders that were supposed to feed 10 people only feed 5. Terrible service, but the food did taste good.

Ive been going there for 5 years or so always a great experience. Great service and a great menu.The owner is a really nice person and likes to have conversations with people to get to know them. I recommend it to everybody who is in the Orefield area!

Food was OK. Our waitperson was polite but it seems like she was the only one. The wait for our food took maybe 10-20 minutes. Overall a good-old Italian restaurant that is conveniently located in in the middle of Schnecksville

Ordered a large veggie pizza for carry out. It was ready at the stated time. Got it home and it was very tasty. Thin hand tossed crust and loaded with toppings!
