Today 6/12/16 I went to this diner for the second time with my 3 children & my husband. We were previously there 3 weeks ago. Both bills were $61.53. The first time I paid cash & left it on the table with the receipt & a $24 tip for the waitress. Today I paid with my debit & left another $20 tip. I sent my husband to the register to pay with the debit & they accused us of only leaving $35 on the table the last time we were there. NOT TRUE. They then told me they had video footage & when I asked to see it they said they didnt have it? Whats up with that? I asked them why they didnt come outside to get me because I stood outside of the entrance for 10 min to smoke a cigarette. They said I was running up the street when they came out. NOT TRUE. I dont run at all & I take my time doing everything i do. I was with my family for goodness sake. I asked the manager at the register why they didnt say anything when we walked in the door today? Why seat us, take our order, serve us & not say anything until we were ready to leave? And if you have video footage why were the police not called while we were in the diner for the second time? I work 65hrs a week & my husband works full time also. We pay our bills. And it just doesnt make sense that we would come back a second time if we ran out on our bill. WHO DOES THAT???? Im so use to going to restaurants that you just leave the money on the table & it is the waitress job to take care of it. Apparently not here but there is NO sign posted anywhere saying that you are to pay at the register yourself. Deff my mistake on that i guess. So needless to say there is THIEF employed at this diner. Great food though!!

My wife and I traveled to Pottstown for a family gathering after I spent a week just outside of New York City. I love New Jersey diners and ate at one every night I was there. When we saw Potts & Penn, it looks just like a New Jersey diner and we couldnt resist trying it out -- and, boy, it was awesome! Big, typical diner menu with some Greek choices. I had a burger called the Brunch Burger. It was a bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, pickles and a fried egg cooked to order (over easy, thank you!). Definitely one of the best burgers I had in a long time! And, it comes with home fries, which were cooked perfectly and delicious. Service was attentive but not overbearing. The manager or owner visited every table to say hi and chit chat - nice touch. The diner itself is insanely clean! We went on a busy Saturday night and I have no idea how they kept it spotless. It seemed like when someone left, the dishes just disappeared. We didnt have room for dessert, but we will save room when were in Pottstown again in May! The desserts looked amazing and lots of people were ordering them. Convenient location with a parking lot or on street parking. Reasonable prices, great food. We made sure to tell everyone about our experience!!

Went there with the family for the first time tonight. Very clean diner, very friendly staff, great food at decent prices. Our waitress, Raven, I believe, was extremely pleasant and patient with all our questions being our first time dining there. It certainly wont be our last. My new favorite diner, with lots of choice menu items for the whole family. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Update: just did breakfast for the first time.French toast was great, omelette was good, pancakes, unfortunately were the worst I ever had, anywhere, go figure.couldnt eat more than a half of one. They were dry, grainy. Not every diner has good everything though.....

So apparently a "large" orange juice is about two triple shots. A regular size orange juice is literally 4oz. The French toast didnt even have eggs on them it was literally hot bread. My girlfriends waffles were soggy, and not like "oh these are a little soft" they were like cardboard thats been in a puddle for a week. I know that restaurants need to make money and I dont mind paying the price for decent food but seriously? Every corner was cut. Never coming back.

I love this breakfast spot! Its my go to for sure. Everyone who works here is friendly and remembers me when I come in. They are all personable, especially the owner. The food is delicious, and always fresh. I highly recommend the skillets and the huevos rancheros. Its a great place to take anyone because they have traditional breakfast items like eggs and pancakes, but they also have different items such as huevos rancheros and Greek gyro skillets.

I have heard mixed reviews for this place from many people. The food is good priced decently and staff is friendly but when I order what I want and get something else I am really not interested in giving it another try. The waitress was very friendly and apologetic and did ask if I wanted her to get it remade, however I was hungry and didnt want to wait another 20 mins for my original order. So I will not be comomg back.

Have eaten here countless times since they opened, the food and service, from the owner to the staff has been consistently amazing. They are also more than accommodating to our local Lions club, the Pottstown Stowe lions, providing space and the same great service for our bi monthly meetings. They are indeed one of the best most affordable and quality dining establishments in Pottstown

The new Potts and Penn is wonderful. Been there 5 times now and so far everything has been delicious. I especially liked the South Side breakfast. The diner is very clean, the wait staff are nice and attentive, the owner actually takes the time out to greet the customers and is interested in how things were back when it was the old Dempseys. Great food, great prices, great people!!!

I was in the Pottstown area yesterday in need of a good breakfast and I got it at Potts & Penn Diner. Not only did I get a good breakfast, but a lot of it for a very reasonable price, served in a clean and comfortable environment by a friendly and attentive waitress. The classic exterior promises an authentic diner experience and that promise is 100% fulfilled within.

I would usually give this diner 5 stars because the food and service is really good but, today the pork sausage links were very nasty and the woman manager said it taste good to her! After a few words, she rectified the situation but all of the excuses I didnt want to hear.

This was my first time at Potts & Penn this evening, I was thrilled with the cleanliness of the diner, the service (Jessica was our server, very attentive but not overbearing) and the food was excellent. Good luck to the Potts and Penn Diner, see you again soon.

I asked how much for a single glass of milk to go and it was 3 dollars. I laughed at them and left. Everytime I walk past this place I laugh thinking about that 3 dollar glass of milk. What is that like 600 percent mark up? Its probably more.

We went there this morning went inside and waited to be seated. No one was at the counter no one was it the entryway and no one came out. After about 8 minutes we just left there were other people in the diner eating we saw no employees at all
