I ordered the French dip. The sandwich itself was pretty good, the aujus was awful. Like dipping my sandwich is oil dirtied by a little bit of beef flavor. The fries were fresh cut and great. A couple of them were under cooked but no big deal they were good. The guy behind the counter Im assuming was the owner was apparently above taking my order so he did there and made me wait while one of the two waitresses finished with her other customers. Ill eat here again just stay away from the aujus.

This place is absolutely amazing. The staff here is more than pleasurable and treat you well. This place gives you a family feeling and you feel part of it. The food is amazing and the desserts are just as good if not better. Jesse is awesome if you are lucky enough to get one of her tables. If you dont eat here you dont know what your missing. Thank you New Smithfield Diner for awesome service and great food.

My wife & I have eaten there twice in the last 2 weeks. Once for breakfast and once for dinner. Both were very good, although the potatoes at breakfast were a bit cool. Portions are large and staff were all very friendly! Prices were reasonable. We will definitely be making this a regular stop and probably bring friends.

Fast and friendly service with a smile. Good cooking here you will leave full. Its a diner bit its not a chain so its way better than dennys. They have lots of truck parking. There is a gas station that shares the same lot. I believe that this is no longer the bandit but it is called the new smithsville diner.

We use to LOVE to eat here,TJ the old owner was very attentive to his customers needs, wants and likes. Homemade fresh food, huge portions. The new owners jacked up the prices while quality and quantity have dropped horribly. But we love the servers so we will suck it up to help them. TJ YOU ARE MISSED!

This place was sold, dont even waste your time going. Bad food, lousy service, they cannot speak english, rude to truckers too. I used to love this place, it changed ALOT. Ran into former owner, he is sad about it too.

Service was good but the food was below par. The bacon salad looked unappealing, the roast beef was stiff, the clam chowder tasted off. But quick service and good waitresses and nice environment.

Who puts shrimp in crab cakes? I had the seafood platter its mediocre at best.When I paid the 16.00 dollar tab the manager didnt give me my change he just said thank you, I didnt leave a tip.

Dirty dishes, bad home fries and unfresh egg. This was the worst diner i have ever been to and i have been to alot all over the northeast. I will never eat here again

Staff is very friendly and service was extremely fast. We ordered our food and within 10 min it was at our table. Gyros are very good.
