This place is great. Just dont get carry out. My family and I dined in at Sages yesterday. Got the 2 sausage, 2 eggs 2 pancakes. It was great. Saw another couple order the fresh strawberry waffles. Big strawberries and whip cream, they looked great. So I went the next day and got the $5.99 strawberry waffles for carry out. 2 words... Totally disappointed. Got a waffle, 2 cut up strawberries and no whip cream. It was not even close to the presentation I saw yesterday. Lego waffles and a package of strawberries would have been better then the special I got. If I could give one bit of advice to future customers of Sages. "Buyer beware (take out anyways)" Looks like they take more pride in the dining in service, then the carry out customer.

Normally good food, friendly service, good value. Today, sausage grave and hash browns were room temperature and our waiterss, who is always very friendly, was a little off her game today. Everyone is allowed to have a bad day once in a while. This was definitely not normal for her. Really noisy table next to us made it a less than pleasant. Karen, hope you have a better day hun! You are a good waitress. We will be back, just an off day.

The service was exceptional. As soon as you walk in the door, the host seats you in a very timely manner then your server appears almost immediately to take your order. Your food is cooked to ordered and its prepared very quickly & is very DELICIOUS! I would definitely recommend Sages Diner to anyone seeking a great meal and a reasonable price.

My girlfriends and I often go to Sage for our Sunday dinner. Selections are home cooked and seasoned. One of the few places to get collard greens! Fish is especially good. I sometimes go to breakfast there; pretty good! Waitresses are N OT kids, which is often important in focused service.

Our server Mary was a fabulous pleasant person who made our experience very pleasurable. The food was delicious and filling. This is a must visit restaurant! We will make sure to stop in when we return. One of my picky sisters had nothing to complain about.

Love the "old-fashion" cooking offered. Generous portions! You wont leave hungry. Plus they have a senior menu, too. My parents took me there and it felt like I was at home eating a home cooked meal. Great desert selection too!

The Sage Diner in Onley, Vs is a lot better Diner. The food is great and serviice is wonderful. My wife and I drive the 40 miles to this Diner in Va.
