The gentleman there was very nice and suggestive of the food, I ordered the ribs and brisket with the mac and cheese and greens. The ribs themselves felt reheated and tough but were still decent with the hot sauce bbq, the brisket was paper thing and looked like lunch meat, the greens were definitely canned greens which in my opinion are a disgrace, the mac and cheese was very basic, not the kind you would expect as if you were at your uncles cook outs... My girlfriend ordered the chicken leg which was reheated and dry along with the potato salad which tasted like pure mayo.... COME ON PEOPLE, IS THERE ANY GOOD BBQ ANYMORE IN THE BURGH?

BBQ ribs were very tough and bland. The macaroni and cheese was tasteless it was cheese sauce not actual cheese. The collards had no seasoning as well they must have been cook without any neck bones or bacon. The sauce was not at all what you would expect, it was watered down and very thin for BBQ sauce. I dont recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for BBQ at all. The best part of the meal was the cornbread and the deer park water.

My wife and I loved the food here, spare ribs, and pulled pork were some of best we have ever eaten. Homemade BBQ sauce was great This was the Flame located on Babcock Blvd. and I can attest they do a heck of a catering business also. It seems the other Flame[Cranberry] is inconsistent in their product.

The Flame is pretty average for barbecue found north of the Mason-Dixon line. The brisket was tender, but not fork-tender. The sauce (apparently theres only one) is tangy but lacks kick if you prefer some heat. They have some really interesting dishes combining barbecue with french fries or pierogies.

One of the better bbqs in the area. My husband and i both apprecitate good bbq and have tried most in the area and this one tops the list. Although they can only do what folks call "northern bbq" it still definatly has good roast pig! I still like those boss hogs sandwiches though!

The ribs were dry and tough. They were incredibly fatty and full of cartilage. The pulled chicken was inedible. The macaroni salad had entirely too much dill in it and the macaroni and cheese was tasteless. I wish that I had saved my $12 and spent it on something much tastier.

Do not go here for bbq. mac and cheese was microwaved, potato salad was poor, brisket was fatty and slightly warmed, and spare ribs were hard to bite through. Portions were small for the price. thats all i have to say. Dont waste your time.

The Flame BBQ is quite possibly the best BBQ in Pittsburgh. I first had their food at the Millvale Brewfest and have been craving it since. Their pulled pork is to die for. Ive recommended them for many catering events

The Flame catered an after the wedding dinner for our family and guests. The food was delicious and very plentiful. When asked, they even came earlier than originally planned. Best BBQ in Pittsburgh!

I dont know how this place has any good reviews. This is the worst bbq I have ever had. My wife and I are having a hard time finding any good food for a reasonable price here in Pittsburgh.

Placed a catering order, pulled pork and chicken were extremely soggy. Pasta salad was JUST okay and the mac & cheese wasnt bad. I chose my words very carefully.... it left a lot to be desired

Really disappointing and very questionable product. The health department should visit here. All they do is microwave old food and make you feel unwelcome while eating it.

What can I say. Cold, tasteless bread rolls. Luke-warm, sloppy, microwaved pulled pork sandwich. Best thing was the bottled soda. Never again!
