Visiting town for a the Pittsburgh Marathon and eating Whole30. BBQ is usually a good thing for me, as long as there is no sauce. This place did NOT disappoint. The 1/2 rack of ribs was deliciously smoked and were whole ribs with the tips and all, not just the bones. The wings were amazing, as well, and fell off the bone. I did get an odd look when I asked for no sauce, though. It was a short walk from my hotel downtown (about a half mile), and the prices were very reasonable for the quantity received. Ill be going back next time Im in town!!! A++

I was passing through Pittsburg and looked them up. This is authentic bbq. With the pit at the side of the restaurant you can smell the smoke. The ribs were the star. Tender and packed with flavor. I ordered an extra half slab to take home. Mac and cheese, fantastic. The potato salad was a bit heavy on the salt otherwise an all around good experience and I would recommend you stop by if youre in pittsburg.

This place is fantastic. Everything from the meat to the cornbread is considerately cooked. If youre like me, youll want to finish it in one seating but will be stopped because youre full. I highly recommend the combo of the ribs and the chicken and cant commend them enough on their mac n cheese!

Z-Best has good food for cheap prices, ribs so tender theyll fall off the bone if you look at them hard enough, every kind of BBQ joint side you could ask for, Mac and Cheese and Sweet Potatoes being the real standouts here. Plenty of sauce on their entres and all the sauces are excellent.

Amazing hole in the wall. Food is great and always fresh. Fix the place up and itll be 5 stars. I visit from Ball State University in Muncie, IN for a debate at Duquesne University. As a die hard Steeler fan, this is a great example of a "must-visit" while in town for a game.

This is some of the best BBQ in the city. Ribs and wings are so tender. The sauce is finger licking good. The sides make it. Cabbage, Greens, Mac & cheese, sweet potatoes. If you want soul food, this is the place to come.

Not the best BBQ Ive ever had, and I got the sense I wasnt especially welcome there, but the food was decent, and there was a lot for a good price. I dont think Ill be getting back any time soon then.

Everytime I eat there its the best and I always get the same thing rib dinner with greens and cabbage and the cornbread is bomb,I love the chicken as well every chance I get I make sureI stop there

About halfway through my meal I was about to order a 2nd plate. Its a barbecue joint, dont expect Ruth Chris. Its down home good food and you can eat in. Ill be back!

Never again.. wigs were WARM, horrible packaging, a little pricey, and "forgets" items that were ordered... I will NEVER pay "9.99" for a 4 wing dinner again.

Zs is the BBQ joint to hit in Pittsburgh! I love the mustard bbq sauce....it is sweet and tangy. The ribs just fall off the bone; they are so tender!
