I have patronized Andrews Showcase Rib restaurant since his very beginning. When he moved from his Braddock & Hamilton Avenues location, an imposter restaurant moved into that location, allowing people to believe it was still Showcase Ribs. Without any doubt, it was IMMEDIATELY OBVIOUS that they were NOT Showcase Ribs. My immediate complaint was when I asked for my ribs to be "well done(!)" They INSISTED they were well done, but were not done at all. I learned my lesson & searched for the REAL Showcase Ribs restaurant until I found it. I do NOT buy ribs anywhere else. Drew has an EXCELLENT restaurant business, an enormous menu selection, the people are very friendly, the prices are low & people from everywhere, races & nationalities, as well, patronize Showcase Ribs. If you have not tried Showcase Ribs restaurant, youre missing something VERY SPECIAL! (I eat there just about every Friday & NEVER get tired of them!!!)

Great prices and good food. Take out, unless you are on the road and can deal with one table to sit. Wings were on the smallish side but I got 8 in my order of 6 (yeap they will do that!!). Pork ribs were great, juicy, meaty, with the right amount of char (and again, I got 8 in a half-slab that was supposed to be 6)... Sauce is too ketchup-y for my taste, yet not too sweet and the heat is there. The problem: everything is a tad overcooked and than left to wait in covered dishes for a bit too long. So it does not taste quite like fresh barbecue. Still, the amount of good food that you will get here for your money is 5 stars. Next time I will just come and wait till they bring the fresh batch of things I like... 3.5 for the food, 5+ for the value.

For about $18, we got a 4 bone and 6 (but they actually gave like 9!) wing combo, plus two sides and two sodas. It was so cheap, and we almost had trouble finishing everything in the end. Their homemade sauce is quite interesting--not too sweet with hints of sour. Went really well with the wings. But for the bones, both the pork and turkey were so delicious that we didnt bother smothering much sauce on them. The pork ribs were large and tender; the turkey was juicy and delicious.

First time here and this spot is by far the best ribs i have tried. Me and my husband go everywhere searching for good ribs and showcase has ribs that literally melt in your mouth. Great great great food . I also had there mac m cheese awesome . Greens were on point . The cabbage was amazing and the green beans fire... corn bread was so moist . This group of people can cook up some damn food . And the customers and the workers had good vibes n spirits id rate a 10 if i could

My family and I have tried getting details regarding their catering several times. Weve been there and the person responsible is never in, weve called and left voicemails and no response. From their website they mention charging $15 per person but never details what it entails at all. Conclusion: not the kind of professional place we would want to spend money at. So disappointing for our community.

Tried this place for the first time to see what all the hype was about.. let me start off by saying the food was ok I thought they used regular BBQ sauce Im not a fan of mustard sauce at all the mac and cheese was kinda dry but the greens and yams were pretty good. The women there had terrible attitudes they were very rude and unprofessional. Definitely my first and last experience with them.

Excellent food. Staff is very friendly. We had to stand in line for a bit because they ran out of ribs and needed to wait until a new batch was ready, but it was no problem. All the sides are awesome and I can never leave here without a piece of cornbread! (The cornbread is more on the soft side, just fyi... I love it though.) The green beans have a little bit of a kick to them.

Got a full rack and some sides around 6pm or so. I liked the sauce, its brown in color so a little different but still quite good i though. the ribs though were quit fatty and loads of cartilage bits which were not edible. ill definitely give it another go but will prob just get a few ribs the next time and probably earlier in the afternoon. better than the dream bbq i think.

Top notch BBQ. Pork ribs were perfectly cooked, tender but still had a snap. Excellent bark, and the meat didnt need sauce, but theirs is a subtle accent to the meat, not overpowering. Mac and cheese was good. Cabbage greens were spicy. Chicken wings were very tasty also. I look forward to eating my way through the whole menu. Great value for really good BBQ. Ill be back.

I was going to be charged an extra $1 for a center cut rib sandwich which I always get from this place and never got charged an extra anything. Because she had to cut a new slab of ribs. This is black businesses dont last long and why its hard for them to get support from the black community. I will take my dollars else where.

One of my favorite places to go! Pork ribs are great and the turkey ribs are OUTSTANDING! My favorite side is the mac&cheese. The prices are very reasonable and you get big portions. Oh yeah, dont forget to get the HOT sauce on the side, adds a nice tingle...Im actually headed there now ; )

The best BBQ in Pgh! Reminds me a lot of Woodsides BBQ that was on Franktown Ave. Expect to see a bit of a line, but I dont mind because I realize that its a place that everyone loves their food from. But you do get your food quickly and its freshly cooked food.

GREAT FOOD! The quality of ribs is not great, but the way they cook them makes them SO tender and juicy its unreal. Greens have a little kick to em, and their burgers areally the best in town only being challenged by fatheads

Wings and sauce were amazing! Sides were really good as well. Ribs left a little something to be desired. Was overall a great meal and I will definitely go back. Not much in the way of dining area, take out is best.

We were in the mood for BBQ, this did not disappoint! Full slab, green beans and yams were delicious. The "Hot as Hell" sauce doesnt lie - but was FANTASTIC mixed with a little of the regular BBQ sauce. Will go back!

The only reason I give em a 3 is bcuz the food is bomb, but their customer service is so awful, please know what u want B4 ordering bcuz if u mess up they give u straight attitude the rest of the time youre there.

The food is so good. My husband and I are from Cleveland, Ohio but we were in Pittsburgh for the weekend and stopped in when we were in the area. The chicken and ribs were so good that we went twice in one day.
