Bruh. The food was un-blanking-real. And still wallet-friendly. I got a waffle and 4 chicken wings and an iced tea (which was made from a mix, so Id probably skip that next time) for like $9 and change. And it was delicious. I also like how they seem to know many of their customers as the cook was chatting with guys as they came in. The matriarch of the place was an older Asian woman, who handled tender and called everyone "Baby". It was an absolute joy. The place could use a bit of a scrub down, manily because you can see the food being prepared and it was a little grubby. But that aside, Id still eat there, just at the opposite end of the counter.

This place is a hidden gem spot. The CHICKEN AND WAFFLES will add 10 pounds of sad but happy you ate it weight. Idk why someone would rate it one star because its not the other location that pops up when you type it in on google. Taking away from a business that may be in a poverty stricken area but lets be honest thats where you find the best food. I have been traveling here sine I was 21 and When I am in the mood for good chicken and waffles I come HERE :-)

I love this restaurant, its the best "greasy spoon" restaurant around. The one waitress has worked there since forever, and she is nice as can be. The food is cooked in front of you, the way you ask, served hot and delicious. Reasonable prices, and the owner who is usually doing prep, or dishes, always has a greeting or send off of appreciation for you. Despite its humble lunch counter appearance, it my going to "treat" myself place.

This place has NOTHING to do with South Phillys Original Texas Wiener (TM) located in the heart of South Philly near Snyder Avenue. This menu consist of pork roll and chopped steak. Why the "weiner" name? You got me. The original has been around since 1923 and is know for THE SAUCE that is still going, even stronger today. Please note they are TOTALLY DIFFERENT businesses. Just a little FYI to stop the confusion.

Best restaurant ever. I love their Chocolate Chip Pancakes. They greet us with kindness each time we go there. They have been a blessing to my father next door. I go there every Sunday morning for breakfast. They cook their food really fast, and my dad says its magic. I recommend their Cheese Steaks and their Pancakes

This place is TINY. you will be packed in like a sardine--but if you can handle that, and handle the characters, youre in a great spot. This little diners got heart. the service is super-fast. I recommend the omelette. they do lunch, too.
