This place does not even deserve 1 star. No where does it say on the outside of the restaurant does it say the hours. We walked in at 5:05 and were risky spoken to. There were 3 tables full, the door was unlocked, and their was no sign saying closed. We waited to be seated just like the sign said and a server came out with food in her hand and mumbled something rude. My boyfriend and I looked at each other in confusion becuase we though she said something about being busy which we were completely okay with politely waiting for her to catch a breath and seat is. But on her way back through she rudely said "we close at five so I just seated the last table!" She didnt even stop to tell us she yelled this whole rushing past us! We cant say how the food was becuase we just left and were never going back!! Not worth the time at all!

My wife and I came to the lake for Wally fest and chose Muggs for breakfast on Friday . Worst food decision Ive ever made. If you want to find out just how bad breakfast can be ...eat here. We opted for ham and cheese omelets with home fries, coffee and toast. The eggs were dry and tasteless with no cheese to be found and the potatoes tasted days old. Disgusting. we will never return. And its not like they were crowded, only 3 other tables had diners. You have to really not care about what you serve customers to put out a meal like that, or not know what you are doing in the kitchen. Would not recommend for breakfast.

Dead bugs laying in the Window seals . Not just one. Its covered in dead bugs and cobwebs! Next the dishes .. Had to asked for second cup of coffee ..Two mugs both horrible. Dried lip marks of food on my mug. Mugs look like they havent been cleaned ever. The silverware had food on them. Bathrooms .. Toilet looks like its never been cleaned. Cobwebs on the walls. Orange juice is watered down. Ham steak is a slice of lunch meat that was spoiled. Fried potatoes are freezer burnt taking. I feel bad for the waitress, one waitress to the whole place. She was the nicest person.

If I could make a lower one I would. Waitress was less than pleased to be at work that day I guess. Waited 1.5 hrs until we got our food. She decided to apologize to the table next to ours several times about the wait, yet never to anyone else. 4 tables came, got served and then left before we got our food. She then told us its only one griddle back there. Ok, thats fine but 4 other tables in front of us? Rude overall and the food, well we may go into negative stars for that. There are other places far better.

I have to say, i look forward to their burgers - they are the only thing on my mind on the drive out to Hawley all the way from NY - but the service does leave something to be desired. As a New Yorker, i enjoy going out of state because usually the people are friendlier than Im used to in NYC - but this place is an exception. The waitstaff almost always seems to give off the impression that the customers are an inconvenience to them. Go for the burgers - dont expect to be treated nicely though.

I ate in this place the staff is lovely the food is great and I had dinner there and I was impressed very impressed I am listening to some of the reviews and I think these people are high or something cause the waitress there are fantastic kind and food was on time I was more then impressed People you need to try it not hear what others think at all. I also had there a special they were featuring tilipia and it came with veg or your choice of Mash potatoes or rice Salad and every thing was frsh

Disappointing service and food was ok. Coffee was served in a dirty unwashed mug, only realized halfway through when I tasted sweetness on the mug. I guess someone had desert! A new coffee mug was provided. When I received the bill I said how surprised I was at being charged for the coffee. One waitress was apologetic, another was rude and told me they are not in the business of giving away free coffee. So there you have it average food and disappointing service, my family will not be back.

Keep driving, ordered my potatoes crispy, putsy waitress said oh we cant do that {LOL) so I said well can you ask the chef and she says well Ill try but its not going to happen, in a snippy tone of voice, rolling her eyes. Hint Muggs, dont hire snippy young girls who cant interact with people and maybe change the way you do business, just a little.. Waited 20 minutes for tiny salad. Extra 15 for eggs, bacon and potatoes. Date of service 8/15/16 .

Horrible.... my coffee cup was so dirty and my silverware had dried food on it. I even asked the waitress if the dishes were washed with soap. My potatoes tasted like they were days old and my ham burned my tongue with how sour it was. Nevermind all the dead bugs in the window I was sitting next to. I will never go back. Its a shamed because it could be a nice place.

BLT came without lettuce, other sandwich was supposed to have cheese but it was forgotten. Mozzarella sticks were so cold cheese wasnt even melted inside. Another couple complained about the slow service (waitress spent more time on her phone than with customers) and the waitress said it was supposed to be her day off anyway. Never going here again.

Service sucks, nasty and rude. For people who work on tips you would expect better. Than again, leader ship starts from the top.... The chef is even worse, the food is mediocre at best and his attitude is wore than the wait staff. Which I thought couldnt be possible, but it was.

Omg One of the worst experiences of my life..waiter was so nasty I mean nasty nasty Im on my period nasty....... food took 1 hour to get to us and the food sucked avoid this place please you wont be happy at all very trashy people I swear its grosssssssssssssssssss

Great breakfast and lunch. Had to edit this review. Last time I went there the hash browns tasted like something out of a frozen bag and the service was super slow. Will the real Muggs please stand up.

We had breakfast here this weekend Sat and Sunday. Service was friendly, prompt, and helpful. The food was hot and made to order. The place was clean, as were all utensils! We will definitely be back!

Took for ever to be seated a group of 8. No silverware till after the food came out. Not cream for the coffee. Asked for rare got well done. Wow will never eat at this place ever again.

Great place for lunch! Stopped in here and got a meatloaf melt and cream of broccoli and chicken soup, both were delicious and the bell of soup was huge! Very reasonably priced too.

Good food but it sometimes takes forever. I ordered a salad and the others ordered sandwhiches and they were all brought out separate and everyone was done before my salad came..
