New ownership is HORRENDOUS. Arrived around 1am, only two wait staff, a cook, and the "manager". The waitress were doing their best with no support from the manager. Our waitress was a hot mess as she had been there since the morning and the manager did not call in any new staff to take over. Our poor waitress told us the restaurant had just been sold and the new owner was taking no responsibility for anything. On top of that, our waitress said she had just been told her father died the day and she was told she could not leave. She was crying and so apologetic about the mess everything was. The food was good, but did not make up for the awful environment that hung in the air due to the manager/owner not giving a damn. I hope the wait staff, cook (who was also had been working since the morning before) walk and never go back. Totally disgusting treatment by the "management". Will never go back again.

I have been here many times with family and friends; the food was always delicious. However, I was there last night with my husband and friends; the place is under new ownership. Our waitress was new (2 weeks on the job) and she was terrible; things were wrong, things were missing, never asked if we wanted drink refills. It took forever to get a check to us; we actually had to send someone from the register to find her to get our check and that took forever! Then there was the food; the hamburgers were tasteless, the french fries and onion rings had sat around and came out lukewarm. My cold turkey sandwich was brought out without the bread being toasted, sent that back took beyond forever to get it back. I was beyond disappointed; this used to be my favorite diner. We are hoping that this is new ownership pains; so we will try again at a later date.

Our waitress was wonderful with my parents and myself but the poor thing was running ragged. She was sweet..I didnt catch her name, she was there today at 4pm. The place needs serious cleaning of the bathrooms, sticky floors, needs a fresh painting inside and fix the water stained tiles. They did a nice paint job on the outside. It took 20 mins to get our food after the salad and soup. The food was good though. The man that looked like the manager has no personally. He should have been walking around and greeting his customers instead of scratching sticky stuff off the register counter or picking his teeth at the register with a tooth pick. Im sorry to say to our great waitress we will not return. Clean up your act new owner of Red Lion Diner!

Was one of my favorite spots. Sadly no more. We were seated promptly and our order taken promptly and it all went down hill from there. A ten minute wait for a drink. After another twenty minutes we had to ask where our server and food was. After ten more minutes our server returned to say our order was put in. Then ten more..and you see how it goes. It was far from busy when we went and that should have been a clue. We were then argued with the manager after waiting for ten minutes with dirty plates in front of us when we finally said just give us our check. Horrid. I checked with my sister. She had two bad visits. Hair in her food once. Under cooked food the second time. We wont be going here again.

This is now our go to diner. Im not going to say everything is wonderful, because its not. A couple of the waitresses really go above and beyond. The counter staff could use a lesson in customer service. It is diner food, dont expect a gourmet meal. But I never get sick after eating here, and I have a lot of gastro issues. The food is consistent and not overcooked like at a lot of other area diners. They have sugar free drink options that arent diet Coke and unsweetened iced tea. Youll find that things that are obviously frozen in other diners (like onion rings) arent here.

The new ownership is horrible. The manager needs to go!! She walks around saying she will make this place great again and it is the worst with her in charge. She also doesnt dress appropriately and covers herself in glitter (where are we a bar) that falls all over the place...the majority of the waitstaff is miserable and they keep switching employees every week it seems. The food use to be good but now everything is down the tubes. I use to be a regular customer with a lot of my friends and family but we wont be returning until the changes that need to be made are made.

If I could give this place negative Stars I would the home fries were cold and Soggy and had just an off taste to them they were really gross the fried eggs was Half Raw and cold the person waiting on me had strange looking sores all over her arms service was very slow the coffee was water down. the entire experience was just disgusting there were bugs on the window ledge I wouldnt I wouldnt eat there ever again not to mention who cuts a muffin in half and toasted it in heavy butter

The last time we went there, a poor waitress was in tears. Apparently the NEW OWNERS took over that day and would not let her leave (her dad had died 2 hours before we got there ). She was working with 1 other waitress and with 1 person in the kitchen (it was 12 AM) and a "manager " just sitting at the register, who seemed very disinterested. He left shortly after we were seated. I WILL NOT EAT THERE WITH THE NEW OWNERSHIP.

Big mediocre food. Rarely prepared correctly. Its a great place to go if your taste buds dont work. Omg the service is the worst. No one is properly trained and they act like they are doing you a favor by serving you. Never to return to this place of mediocre at best tasteless food. Slot of garbage is still garbage. Place needs a new owner, these people dont get it. STAY AWAY. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOUR TUMMY

Food is great, but the new ownership is horrible. She walks around saying weird things and takes a while to pay. She doesnt even wear a uniform. Our food was dropped all over the floor next to me, but it wasnt the lady who dropped its fault, and our food was quickly remade. The manager should ever have been in that position. I hope this was just an unlucky day, because I did enjoy the food.

We selected this restaurant on a whim and were very happy with the experience. We were immediately greeted, and the waitstaff is pleasant and accommodating. The environment is very clean, and they even pulled out the tables to scrub the floor. The portions are large, and the prices are reasonable. Come experience this wonderful restaurant for yourself and your family.

What a fantastic place to stop! Not only did everything come out as ordered but the staff was pleasant and the food was delicious. I was surprised at the enormous selection they really had something for everyone including tons of seafood and even vegan dishes and desserts! I would recommend stopping here get the onion rings they do not disappoint!!!!!

Nice place and I would recommend to anyone. Felt that menu could use a bit more diversity but I was looking for some off beat options. Service was fine and prices reasonable. Parking was easy and access was easy from all directions as long as you choose the right exit on departing. I would stop here again if in the area.
