Ever since accidentally discovering Cucina three years ago this has been our most treasured and special place to eat. Very small and cozy - but overwhelmingly inviting and warm. We have loved great Italian food all over the world, but this is some of the vest best! Sauces to die for! By now we just show up and ask Joe and the staff to give us whatever they are inspired to select - and have never had anything but a wonderful meal. Prices very reasonable - so much so that we often wonder how they manage to keep open. It feels more like family dining that a formal restaurant experience - and Joe is always quick to introduce you to a guest if he thinks there might be some wonderful chemistry. Hes usually right! My only reservation about giving this review is that I dont want it to get any harder to get a table when were looking for a special dinner. And well just have to ask that they save a portion of the lobster ravioli in advance.

I was invited to dinner and the meal Chef Joe prepared was outstanding! While I wasnt really invited to dinner thats the feeling I had when we finally left after a 2.5 hr perfectly paced evening. When you walk into the front porch area the aroma that hits instantly creates a dance for your taste buds. The ease that the servers work in this tiny establishment is flawless. You instantly feel a part of a family even with the customers. Repeat customers enjoy sharing past dinning experiences as departing cliental talk about the spectacular meal they just experienced. Dont worry that there is no menu. Feel confident in knowing the meals prepared are based on fresh ingredients available that day! When you go to a good friends for dinner there is no menu its amazing food with unforgettable people with big hearts that invite you into their home.

Very very good. Went a year ago and its probably more of a 4.5 star than a 5 but someone giving it 1 star for not being seated without a reservation isnt fair, there could have been a full house booked in 20 minutes.. Food is delicious. True, no written menu, but sometimes you just should trust the people serving you that they want to give you something delicious. I appreciate the owner in pajama pants enjoying his gig, and still working hard. Sure, decor is more of your nanas living room then restaurant, but I wouldnt change it at all. Give the typical italian restaurant a break and try something real.

Pros: 1. The food 2. The food 3. The food is amazing Cons: 1. Smoke filled room - no exhaust? 2. Tight (I felt claustrophobic) - small table didnt help 3. Didnt replace plates/utilensils when switching courses (and in particular, I had to eat my appitezer on the plate I just had my salad on) I would go back, because the food is amazing. But, have some drinks first, cause you kinda gotta roll with it there

Can these guys consider themselves Italian??? Really? Pasta with sauce that settles as chunks of canned tomato on top and water on the bottom - no flavor. Meatballs that were just baked and some tasteless sauce thrown on top. Broccoli rabbi with sausage - with no sausage!!! $200 with tip for 5 people (BYOB) so - $40 pre plate....really? REALLY!!!! You dont know cause they have no written menu - NEVER going there again.

Amazing food & experience. Went here for my birthday celebration because I heard good things throughout town. They were right! Joe was friendly and welcoming and helped us celebrate our birthday with lots of red wine and chocolate cake! The food was absolutely delicious - highly recommend the crab mac and cheese as an appetizer. Authentic Italian that is made fresh to order. We cant wait to return. Thanks again!

Just had dinner here last night. absolutely incredible. Joe was amazing, he came out, took pics with us and talked for a while. food was out of this world good. staff did a wonderful job. I had pasta with vodka sauce, topped with crab meat, scallops for a starter, and a wonderful salad. all i can say is GO! you wont be disappointed .We will be back soon.

Went here tonight to celebrate my 30th birthday and I couldnt wait to review it!!! The staff was great and more importantly the pasta I ordered was the best pasta dish I have ever eaten!!! The chef even came out to check on our dinner!! Great place great atmosphere, wish I could give it 10 stars!!

Amazing! Delicious - almost dont want ppl to find out about this place. Then you cant get in! Byob. Wonderful owner will sit and have a glass of wine with you. They will modify sauce if you want. Very accomodating. Its like being in an Italian kitchen in Italy. Cozy and comfortable!

Building and restaurant are a bit tired. There is no menu except a verbal one and no prices. Food is more American than Italian rather expensive. Quantities ample. It is a BYO so thats a plus. Staff was neutral, neither friendly nor unfriendly. Wouldnt recommend to friends.

We arrived for dinner at 5:30. The restaurant was empty with the exception of 2 people. They told us that they were sorry but we didnt have reservations so they couldnt serve us.
