I love the ice cream, the service was great. This was the first time Ive gone to the restaurant, I usually just shop at the store. The food in the buffet did not look appetizing at all to me. I am a picky eater, so the only thing I would have gotten from it was what looked like over cooked Mac & cheese. So I stuck with the salad bar, because I had a free coupon for it, and got a side of French fries. I had some broccoli and the house made ranch dressing to dip it in along with a couple of rolls. Well, the rolls were OK, pretty generic. But one bite of the broccoli with ranch made me push away my plate. It didnt taste like ranch and the aftertaste was disgusting. The fries came out, looked and tasted like every day fries. But there were plenty of them for a side, so bonus.

A decent diner. This a diner attached to the Oregon Dairy Market. The food is on par for the diner scene with a few notable bright spots such as the donuts and ice cream. They also have a play ground and petting zoo so visiting during the summer can be a lot of fun. This also makes the potentially long wait times easier to handle with children. It is a pretty good place to visit with children, they have a train that runs over head and little gift bags with crayons and a toy for the kids. Service is ok. like all of the area diners it gets very crowded very quickly in the morning. If visiting on the weekends get there early or be prepared to wait.

Im not sure why someone recommended the buffet at Oregon Dairy to me, but I have seriously thought about never speaking to them again. Each and every bite of their 80+ item breakfast buffet was more disappointing than the last, and I soon grew genuinely surprised when something on the menu actually tasted like something other than a 2 a.m. meal at Dennys. Even the highly publicized number of breakfast items (80+) was misleading unless, of course, you count individual tater tots as separate items. If youre looking for a real breakfast/lunch/dinner buffet, do yourself a favor and drive the extra twenty minutes to Shady Maple.

A very family friendly restaurant that serves delicious food. The prices are very reasonable. They make their own ice cream and have other yummy desserts. The menu has lots of great choices from breakfast to supper. Plan to visit the grocery store and gift shop, too. You cannot leave without buying some of their chocolate milk. It is the best chocolate milk you will drink!!! I like the fact that Oregon Dairy is open on Sundays because many places in the Lancaster area are closed on Sundays. Also, they have a kiddie area outside and animals the children can look at. Throughout the year there are many special family events.

The breakfast place. This is where I meet people for breakfast. Good food, reasonably priced, exceedingly friendly staff and then there is the "free" milk and doughnut. They serve a lot of meals but things are seldom backed up in the morning. A lot of that has to do with Elizabeth and the rest of the bussers who are constantly hovering (and continuously smiling). Despite its size and all of the institutional trappings, this place holds on to a sense of family. It doesnt matter what your mood, you cant help but smile when you see the electric train putting by above you.

Good dutchy place. The smorgasboard isnt Shady Maple in size by any means, but it still is a decent buffet. I prefer to order sandwiches like the grilled reuben. Our kids enjoy the large gauge model train that travels through the dining area above our heads. The ice cream shop next door, & the playground next to that, are where we go most of the time these days. The play area has a good variety of equipment with a unique farm flavor. There are goats to pet, a pot bellied pig and some deer. Great place for kids.

Party of four went there for breakfast on a Sunday morning at 10am... The wait was 25 to 35 minutes. Plenty of space to sit and stand while waiting. Buzzer went off after 30 minutes. Server, Kayleigh, was a delite. She tolerated all of our questions and special requests with patience and a smile. Food was good, but service was the best feature. The breakfast skillets sounded great, but the potatoes are not cooked very well done (almost raw). The potatoes as a side are also barely cooked... just FYI.

We had breakfast here this past Sunday. Amazing food, good portions, great service. Especially loved the touch at the end of your breakfast of the fresh baked glazed donut with a small glass of their farm fresh milk. Will visit again! My favorite was the pancake with warmed butter syrup and sausages w/ homefries, so delish! I see someone put a bad review on the buffet although I didnt try the buffet I would suggest this person order off the menu, it truly was amazingly good.

The food was fine unfortunately I sat in a booth next to a family who had to unruly children who did nothing but pester each other and me during the entire meal I give the whole experience on the scale of 1 to 10 of 3 next time I see a family like that Ill never sit next to them. Its a nice place to go I eat there quite often but this was a miserable experience.

Overall: highly recommended. Family-run business that serves traditional PA dutch meals along side modern favorites. Excellent food, decor and service. A must-visit for the traveler and resident of Lancaster County. Oregon Dairy is quick to support the local community during events in the township and at the farm.

Overpriced. And not sure why I cant decide what amount of gratuity to give. They automatically add 18 percent to your check. And I had the buffet. Not like they had to carry food to me or anything. Ill keep going elsewhere for a buffet. Not many options, but at least most things were good

Nice waitress, however, food was truck stop quality at best....bland, possibly reheated.... certainly not farm fresh like they pretend! Price was too high, even with a scoop of ice cream thrown into the deal. They should probably just stick to ice cream!

I love everything about this place. The grocery store has one of the best bakeries in Lancaster county. The deli and meets sections are always well stocked with fresh deliciousness. I am also a huge fan of the ice cream shop that is there. Great local place

Good comfort food & good selection. We had a large party and the staff was very polite and helpful as we were there for hours. The ice cream was great with a huge selection. Great views. Large outdoor seating and childrens play area with baby goats

Simply one of the best breakfast spots in Lancaster area and a local favorite as well. Expect to wait on weekends but its fun to browse the adjacent store. Avoid the buffet and go for an omelette or one of their specialty items.

The menu said mixed greens for in the salad and it only had lettuce. And the chicken wrap wasnt made very well and didnt have chicken all the way to the end
